​Tweetdeck Beta for Android just got an update that concentrated mostly on adding support for 3 widgets: TD Column, TD Bar, and TD Post. The latest version number stands at 0.9.8. This update addresses one of the most requested features for the application on the Android platform.

Who cares about widgets if it can't maintain a connection to facebook more than a day or two? Has that been fixed?

Actually...I think there's something wrong on Facebook's end...Tweetdeck is reporting there are some problems with the FB api.

Eh, that doesn't really matter... what matters is their app advertises as an "all in one" social app, when in reality the Facebook part is broken. Don't add features until the core functionality of the app works IMO.

Well you can't really blame them for Facebook recently having problems though because in the beginning, it worked fine.

I am currently running .98 but how do I know when a new version is out?
I hope there is a new version out because I can no longer add my facebook or buzz accounts :-(

The app also advertises itself as a beta Of course there are going to be broken bits amongst the new features.

I didn't find this anywhere else on the forum for the latest version so i'll post this modified version of spotify that i has put together to work with landscape! Perfect for your car dock and such. The only thing i've found that doesn't work so far is the Play Now window, you can't get it up without turning the phone back to portrait. Maybe someone here know how to fix it, if so let me know!

A tip is to navigate to "sdcard://Android/data" and find "com.spotify.mobile.android.ui" and rename it to anything. After that you uninstall the market version of Spotify and installning this. After that you navigate to the data folder again and rename the renamed folder back to the initial name. Then all playlists, settings, and songs should still be there. Just like before!

I tried this. Playlists and settings were saved, offline songs had to be re-downloaded.

Dude, thanks for this, installed and tested the landscape rotation. Seems to be working perfectly @ all angles. Such a simple thing and the guys over at spotify don't seem to feel it's a necessity. Glad you did and took it upon yourself to fix the problem!

Edit/Update: Looks like radio isn't working on this version. I don't have premium and literally only use the mobile app for the radio functionality. Not sure when radio was added but any chance you can re-swizzle this with a version that includes radio? It does work perfectly as far as I can tell, but since I don't have premium I can't say for sure.
@jason2005: I was able to log in just fine with my Spotify creds, no need to login with facebook. But then I was a beta tester when it 1st released here in the states and never chose to link my FB account to it.

Same here, I think that will be a permanent fault due to the device level authentication codes which spotify uses when authenticating with facebook.
Use the instructions here:

to set up a username and password for spotify devices, there are a couple of hoops to jump through but it does work!

Surface IE10 Whitelist Cloud Tool v1.0 -Cloud based solution to enable IE10 flash

This tool allow you to download a maintained Whitelist for IE10 on Surface. We will continuously update the maintained whitelist (on the cloud) with new websites so hopefully you need not manually maintain a Whitelist.

1. Download the Whitelist from cloud.
2. Not available now.
3. Backup your current Whitelist to C:\users\%Username%\AppData\local\temp
4. Use the downloaded Whitelist to update your whitelist and delete browser history. New Whitelist will be effective immediately.

Are we able to add sites ourself still to this? Or do we need to request through you once using the custom white list?

Also, after I did this, I restarted my surface and when restarting it acted as if id just done a windows update? It had the percentage up and said windows was updating, however I hadn't installed any updates nor had any auto installed. Is that meant to happen? Since doing it I feel my internet has been a little more sluggish also, not sure if it's just in my mind.

Hi,
There is no need to restart your Surface. Select [1] only download a Whitelist to your c:\users\public\downloads folder. Select [4] will copy that Whitelist to replace your existing one and then it will clear browser's history. Even you have IE open, refresh the website once, and it should work.

tried yesterday windroy, it is amazingly fast but it is ics based some i'm now giving a try to windroye wich uses virtualization.
a kitkat based windroy would be amazing!

Some apps freeze and have to be restarted. Could it be a memory issue, or just general incompability?

I am having an issue where I am trying to install arm translation and I just cant figure out how to install the zip file. In genymotion its just drag and drop.

Works wonderfully here. I noticed though better not click on it when it is booting up. Also version 2.8.4 came out, but I can't download it (link not working). Anyone got solution?

thanks, got it. for anyone else looking, make sure you go directly to the site to search like lumanist advises. if you haven't heard already, google is hiding search results for kat and showing malware and fake sites instead: on one fake site, I was offered access to the download for $5 lol.

I've had bad luck with Windroye, The 2 games I play most have issues.
Simpsons Tapped Out, Runs great, no glitches, but it crashes frequently (Unfortunately, Tapped out has stopped).
Plants vs Zombies 2, Runs great but somehow my profile & progress get randomly erased, I'm able to get it restored but only after emailing Popcap support and having them restore it, Ive been playing the game in other emulators for 2 years and never had this happen, it happened twice in Windroye within 2 days.
I'm back to using Droid4X which has been trouble free with both games for several months now.

I bought a oneplus7 not that long ago, and I wanted to play with the so called desktop mode. Idea is, back from work, to put the phone on a dock, being able to use my tv for browsing web with a wireless keyboard/mouse, maybe watch stupid yt video etc. Replacing my old laptop for very basic tasks.
The idea is to buy this 30euros dock station so I can have a convenient way to get internet on my tv :

So I got a Oneplus 7 and currently running Android 10. I enabled the Desktop Mode in Developers and have tried it out a little bit. For me the it isn't very usable. It is stuck in a certain resolution and I want to change it but haven't figured it out. A guy (who is busy right now until the end of the month) has been working on a launcher to use called Flow Desktop found in Google Play Store. It does have some promises and would love to see his app become more than just a concept right now.

You need the secondscreen app to change the resolution.
BTW it seems that if you want to use [email protected] there's no compatible hub yet.
So i bought a simple adapter and BT keyboard
