That's AMAZING can't wait to get home lol

Got it mine, you can see a lot more apps now, still very few useful ones but lots of games. I even spotted ES File Explorer which I know some people have said they had a issue installing after a recent update.

Tested it a bit yesterday, very very nice improvement IMO. I could be wrong but I think it's still missing a few compatible apps..
It's getting somewhere at least, we might see more over the next couple of days

can this be installed on cm12.1 with gapps-lpmr1-x86-leanback-20150524-signed.zip or is it only for factory os?

I posted a comment about this in the official CM 12.1 thread. You can install the APK without doing anything special on CM 12.1 from within the OS. There is no need to boot into recovery to flash this.

I installed the apk and now the Play Store won't load anything. Just spinning. Anyone else have this issue? On a side note anyone know how to rollback to the previous version?

Goto your app settings and clear the cache and data. See if that helps

I'm having the same problem, but I didn't side-load. I just got the player today and in the apps it shows this version, but the store won't load. I factory reset it about a half hour before this post
edit: factory reset and letting it sit fixed it. Must have been queued to update the app and was just waiting until it was installed. Took like an hour of sitting overall.

Finally....
This update was long overdue. Google should have done this when the Nexus Player was released.

apkshellext2, show apk/ipa icon in windows explorer

It was 2009, I create a project to enable the apk icon show up in wondows
it's been a while I left the project, but now I restart it and re-write all the code with a native apk reader (20 times faster), and I have added several important features.
it's still free and open source on github
it's keeping small size, only one dll is needed. (around 600k)
it even shows ipa (iOS) appxbundle (windows phone) package icons.
I'm still adding new amazing features...

Nice work long ago i was searching for such tool and the only tool i found was yours, v1, but i had to remove it because of slow loading... i hope this one will be better... Will test it tomorrow... thanks

By the way you might wanna look into fixing the A record for your domain, browsing to apkshellext.com or http://apkshellext.com doesn't work, only www.apkshellext.com works. I recommend setting up the www as the CNAME rather than using A record, which I'm guessing is what is currently setup.

thanks, I see it now. I was working but somehow it doesn't work now. I made a domain forwarding to let apkshellext.com direct to www.
And I made some update, check the site for update.

Marshmallow update broke game

For YEARS my wife and I have used the solitaire game from Ken Magic as it is THE most basic solitaire game out there. Hell, there has not been an update since 2010. Anyway, her Sprint S6 just got the Marshmallow update and it broke the game.
As you can see it is not full screen. What you cannot see is that the touch sensing is acting as if it IS full screen. We have tried searching alternative solitaire apps but they either have ads OR are crappy designs/layouts. Any ideas?
On a plus note the WiFi calling features seems to be staying connected better so far where it was not before.

Just buy another game.
No updates since 2.2 Froyo. Nice thing it did't break earlier. I don't think this has anything to do with MM, the game's really old itself.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I too have been seeking an alternative but there simply isn't one that can compare. So frustrated over this!

Unfortunately not. I know I can buy another app, but I really don't want to give someone money for something that is crappier.

Agreed. FYI, I've tried MANY different ones as an alternative and so far the closest one I could find is SolitaireCG which is based on the Ken Magic one. It's pretty good, and without the unnecessary graphic interference. I'm not sure if it is in the Play Store or not, if not, just search for "SolitaireCG". Cheers.

Just encountered same issue. Note that his app is open source. So you could go to the website listed on the app and update it yourself.

[DESKTOP MODE] gathering info about that :)

Dear All,
I bought a oneplus7 not that long ago, and I wanted to play with the so called desktop mode. Idea is, back from work, to put the phone on a dock, being able to use my tv for browsing web with a wireless keyboard/mouse, maybe watch stupid yt video etc. Replacing my old laptop for very basic tasks.
The idea is to buy this 30euros dock station so I can have a convenient way to get internet on my tv :

So I got a Oneplus 7 and currently running Android 10. I enabled the Desktop Mode in Developers and have tried it out a little bit. For me the it isn't very usable. It is stuck in a certain resolution and I want to change it but haven't figured it out. A guy (who is busy right now until the end of the month) has been working on a launcher to use called Flow Desktop found in Google Play Store. It does have some promises and would love to see his app become more than just a concept right now.

You need the secondscreen app to change the resolution.
BTW it seems that if you want to use [email protected] there's no compatible hub yet.
So i bought a simple adapter and BT keyboard

Hey all, I know this may not seem like it's real, but I swear it is! SuperTuxKart can actually be ran on Windows 10 for ARM32 now! I don't know if it works on RT8.1, but on 10, every single feature of the game works. Wiimotes, online, splitscreen, etc. All changes necessary to build are also OPEN SOURCE!!! It's also almost no larger than that of an official release, too!

Extract the folder from the ZIP file ANYWHERE. It doesn't matter where it is!
C:\Program Files; your desktop; you name it, it'll work just fine literally anywhere. I do plan on making an installer for this too, but for the time being, a folder on your desktop or in your documents or something won't hurt.

Cool! Don't expect too much out of it though.. Not much can really run even as of today.

That's nice. I have plans to get my first Surface in couple of days, good reason to play STK.
I think it will be nice for me to have my first non-bots online game, what do you think?

Online with other people is pretty fun! The performance can stutter when a lot's going on though, so beware of that. Other than that though, I hope you have fun!

Thanks, seems like i should host lobby on other machine if I want to play. And there are no shadows here, or do they really reduce FPS?

Not sure honestly. I just built it with defaults for Direct3D9, so maybe it's something to do with that
