That's AMAZING can't wait to get home lol

Got it mine, you can see a lot more apps now, still very few useful ones but lots of games. I even spotted ES File Explorer which I know some people have said they had a issue installing after a recent update.

Tested it a bit yesterday, very very nice improvement IMO. I could be wrong but I think it's still missing a few compatible apps..
It's getting somewhere at least, we might see more over the next couple of days

can this be installed on cm12.1 with gapps-lpmr1-x86-leanback-20150524-signed.zip or is it only for factory os?

I posted a comment about this in the official CM 12.1 thread. You can install the APK without doing anything special on CM 12.1 from within the OS. There is no need to boot into recovery to flash this.

I installed the apk and now the Play Store won't load anything. Just spinning. Anyone else have this issue? On a side note anyone know how to rollback to the previous version?

Goto your app settings and clear the cache and data. See if that helps

I'm having the same problem, but I didn't side-load. I just got the player today and in the apps it shows this version, but the store won't load. I factory reset it about a half hour before this post
edit: factory reset and letting it sit fixed it. Must have been queued to update the app and was just waiting until it was installed. Took like an hour of sitting overall.

Finally....
This update was long overdue. Google should have done this when the Nexus Player was released.

Rumor alert: New web based market tomorrow?

According to the guys over at Droid-Life the new android market could possibly be launching tomorrow, which mean you will be able to browse and install all apps from the market directly to your android devices, wonder if this will coincidely install the apps onto our gtabs if they are setup with the same account.

It is out today.

The online market send the apk to your phone once you select it from the web market. Since the gtab has no phone I don't know of any way to get it from the market to the phone except manually porting the apk file or downloading it directly to the gtab via wireless connection.

As someone who has struggled with getting Market working , and not successfully, it is very frustrating to finally see the apps on he new site, but still not being able to download them. I have tried to download some, but as you said, there is no way to send it to the tablet. And most of the ones I have tried to far says it is not for my phone. Moving the APK frommy Droid is still the only way for me. Oh well, I continue to hope things will improve.
i download them from the site directly to my gtab with no problem at all i am running the vegan 5.1b rom and it works amazingly works better than my android phone, i just have my google account setup on my gtab and it syncs right over its one of the options when i go to install an app from the site see below.

Where's the music store?

My sensation is completely stock. For some reason I cannot access the new music store. I checked the Google Market and it appears somehow I may have an older version of the Google Market. Anyone else experiencing this?

From this article...
http://www.pcworld.com/article/244076/google_music_5_things_you_need_to_know.html
"An updated Android Market should be rolling out to your Android devices soon"
I can confirm that the market will automatically update to include the music store. I was on it last night and it updated for me. Before it updated I noticed there was block on the main market screen for Busta Rhymes so I clicked on it. I then started searching for music and the market agreement message popped up. I hit ok and now I have an option on the main market screen for music. Attached is a screenshot. Also, for those that can't seem to get the update, here is a link to the android police website with a link to download the latest market (3.3.11). Just install it like you would install any apk file.

My market updated when I was driving home from work lol. I downloaded two songs without an issue within minutes .

Tmobile has also stated that Tmo customers will have an exclusive section in the market for free tracks. I haven't seen it yet, but have heard from others that have. Since yesterday Tmobile has said they are looking into the problem.

Google Play Store (Android Market) v3.5.15 + Mod

What's in this version:
You now have the Installed and All tabs you can swipe between. The former one is what we used to have before - it lists all apps installed on your device. The latter lists all apps you've ever installed in case you want to download them again or travel down the memory lane. This is quite handy, and I've seen this list before in the Play Store on the web, so it's great to get it here in the mobile app.
The All tab contains a handy dropdown with all your accounts (if you added more than one) and lets you switch between them very easily (as opposed to clicking Menu, etc).
A few of the stock apps that apparently never got linked to the Play Store before got identified and picked up this time, and updates to them were waiting for me when I fired the Store up. I've complained about this very bug in my last rant, and it looks like someone listened.
Mod version features:
Unlimited access to apps in Google Play Store
Removed countries restriction in Google Play Store
Fixed the issue which your device is not compatible with this item in Google Play

that's no help. it gets stuck at the set up
Uninstall and then reinstall then... I mean that's what I would try doing. Just trying to help. Some people don't appreciate anything anymore.
It works now, I dunno what changed but I just tried again for like the 20th time and it finally worked
Glad to hear.
Im having the same problem, i tried more that 20 times.
"Couldnt connect to your watch".
Same problem here.
Restarts don't help, reinstalling assistant (watch and phone) doesn't help, and clearing cache for assistant and Google app doesn't help
After i factory reset my watch, the setup went smoothly on the first try.
This worked
I also had to factory reset and it didnt set work on the first attempt

Could be due to your geographic location?
Try doing this.....
devils avocado.....
why couldnt this question be answered in an existing thread (of which there are 5 already of which the best palce was arguably "Official Google Assistant For GW4 Available")....was creating yet another thread on a hot topic thereby diluting discussion on the existing ones, where no doubt the issue would come up, really the best idea?
creating an entire new thread just because maybe youre in a hurry feeling FOMO and want immediate answers is possibly/maybe/arguably kinda selfish
Apparently it will not work on Android 11 below ,Well this is Bull* by Google, they are forcing you to be on Android 11 for it to work

Question Game dashboard?

Is it missing for anyone else? I can't even find it in the settings anymore. I know for a fact I had it when I got the phone because I was using it to see the FPS in AetherSX2.
I noticed it was missing on the November update earlier today and it's still missing on the December update.

Strange. It wasn't there earlier but it's there now. I had just checked there before I made the post >:/
It wasn't there on the November update either so maybe it was a Google Play System Update thing as I just noticed it updated while my phone was charging.

It's part of Google Play Services, so since that is part of the Google Play System Updates, that sounds about right.

I had checked for a Play System Update before I flashed the December update when I noticed it missing and there wasn't one lol. It still says October 1st after making me restart my phone too.
Oh well, it's there now, thanks.
I did a factory reset because of some crazy battery drain I couldn't figure out and it's gone again. No Play System Update available.
