a dopod 838 pro is a tytn and not a tytn II
either way you should be able to load a rom to a SD card and flash it that way Id recomend gettting an official stock rom for your device and try reflashing it via sd card.

On my Atrix 2, I was on 2.3.6 GB Stock but unlocked AT&T phone.. I downloaded latest ICS FXZ and followed all the steps in Noob's Guide.. and it successfully flashed.. It showed PASS in RSDLite.. Phone rebooted.. Now it says INVALID FLASH MODE (S) (BOOT FAILURE)..
INVALID CG OTV (CG:SYSTEM): INVALID SP DATA
INVALID HAB (CG:SYSTEM, STATUS: 0X004E)
I don't understand, RSDLite said PASS. Absolutely no errors. But still this problem.
Can someone help.??
I tried to flash the same file again, RSDLite fails. Now I'm really terrified that I can't make it to work.
Please help.. Thank you.!!
are you sure that you flashed this Firmware ?
if yes then try agian .... but make sure that your fone doesnt drain below 40%
Yes I tried the exact same..!! Trying again now...!!
Oh God.!! Now its showing Battery LOW.. Now What.????
keep fone plugged to wall charger and see if its getting charged or not !!
if not ... then you might have to charge battery from mobile shop .... unless u know some charging tricks
remember ..... gOOgle is your best buddy
Yeah.. Will be back to you tmrw.. I am taking battery to the shop..
dont go to shop at college road. or Gangapur road ..... they'll charge you more !
find some in city area or CIDCO .... those are cheaper
Hi!
Sorry if I post my topic on a wrong category, but I couldn't find the right one. I have now a chinese smartphone iNew i2000
MT6589 Quad Core CPU @1,2 GHz
1 GB RAM
8 GB ROM
5,7" Screen 1280x720
Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean
Dual SIM support
Tested with 64 GB TF Card
I rooted it to change some informations in the build.prop using the RB editor, like the model, brand...Etc. I only changed model to test, after rebooting it, I have the splash screen, after that the animation and nothing else, only a logo and the system don't want to boot
I tried to flash it by downloading it's ROM and using a software named SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1252.1.104 by following a tutorial found on Youtube (this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdUdHejJor4) , but it didn't work :'(
Thanks for helping me

Any other answers?
I have the CXQ N7300 which is the same as the i2000 except I only have 4gb rom.
Try this. First got to the site and get the latest rom http://www.inewphone.com/eng/index.asp
Turn the phone off pull the battery for a 30 secs put battery back in. DO NOT TURN ON
Open the flash tool as administrator
Select the "MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc" file which is located inside the firmware folder you just got from iNew
Then click Download in the flash tool bar and then Connect the phone to the USB.
If all goes well the bar at the bottom will start moving.
You could look here http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=565998
Hope it goes ok for you.
Hmmm my bad I didn't watch the video as he does the same as me. Try that site I posted.
EDIT= I just thought doing it like the site I posted did not work i.e connect the phone with battery out
then press download then put the battery in. Try that.

Exactly the same method as you Thanks a lot , I resolved it by using a newer version of the flashtool
Now, I have a new trouble, when i try to change the boot animation, it's replaced by a black screen :'(
Mission accomplished, I changed all the rom's infos (build.prop, boot logo and boot animation) and i created a new customized ROM
Thanks for answers and help

from all the research ive done this error is quite simular to the sbf .602/.621 error not sure if this phone was ota updated or not also the error is a little different as it says cannot program instead of ok to program now for my setup i am on a macbook pro running a windows 7 ultimate vm i have rsd lite 5.7 i think what i understood to be the latest moto drivers and the .602 sbf now heres the next problem when i plug in the phone it goes straight to bl mode for a few seconds then black screen and i cant seem to get it to connect to rsd any help plz!!!!!

Ok, i have a doogee x5 pro phone and i tried to root it by flashing twrp recovery using sp flash tools. While flashing i got the error "PMT Changed for the rom it must be download". So i did a small research on internet and i found out that i needed to format everything except bootloader. This succeded. So after that i tried to install the firmware with this succeding to. Unfortunately the time i tried to turn phone on it was dead. SP Flash Tools wont detect it anymore. Please help me cause the phone is not mine and its brand new! I can rate my self as moderate android user. :crying:
i think i have a bigger problem... I downloaded a stock rom for doogee max pro(cause i just realised it wasnt just pro it was max pro) and it didnt seem to be recognised again. Any help would be appreciated. I constantly keep trying to raise it from the deads. Thanks!

On mtk devices a preloader is independently installed, it should be almost impossible to destroy, I owned a x5 pro and had best success to flash it with sp flash by taking out the battery, press flash button and plug it in...
The second huge issue I see is when you used the specific flash tool format option you very, very likely killed the nvram partition which contained the imei, so you'll have to fix this too by generating a new one and using mtk engineer mode which is well described and to find on Google..
But let's go step by step. Check without battery, or if it's a non replaceable you'll need find the reset button..
i have tried before without battery and i tried just now but nothing. Its very weird it was detected before and now no in same and another machine. I am pretty confused and stressed. Hope i didnt do any physical damage.. :crying:. THANKS!
starting to get pretty stressed omg! and is there a difference between MT6737M and MT6737?
i came to the point im starting to lose my mind... tried everything i could, i have 5 days left to repair this phone and i dont wanna pay 85 euros for this. SP Flash Tools wont detect the phone. Tried almost 5 different scatter files,2 different PCs and different mtk drivers. Im losing my mind already
UPDATE: I almost fixed it! I had flashed wrong preloader so phone wasn't recognized by SP Flash Tool. I fixed preloaded with a little trick from here: link. After that i flashed stock rom downloaded from doogee.cc but phone will not boot resulting in a total black screen. When i hot Power + Vol Up it takes me to another screen:
Select Boot Mode:
Recovery
Bootloader
Normal
Doesn't matter which boot mode i choose i just get a total black screen which means i get nothing. Idk what is happening! Any further help would be appreciated! I constantly try to bring it back working with little success and small improvements.
Last UPDATE: FIXED my phone had no juice left inside so couldnt complete boot proccess. Now its all good running Btw someone must pin this META trick link i send on my previous post cause im sure more people out there have preloader issues!!! Thank you everyone!!
