[Q] Relocked bootloader & it show Fastboot menu

hi Guyzz
im new to Android phone
i've Unlock Bootloader from HTC Dev, roorted my HTC Explorer,
i've relocked bootloader of my HTC Explorer through this command "fastboot oem lock" but facing some issues like
after relocking bootloader my phone does not starts it show fastboot menu again n again, i tried many time by removing battery but same issue occurs
After applying all those solutions that found on google notthing happens
help me guyzzzz

If you relock your bootloader, you should flash stock ROM (with stock kernel) and stock recovery. Otherwise the phone will be stuck at the HBOOT screen with a "Security Warning" message

Why are you trying to do this? You have lost your warranty by unlocking the bootloader. Re-locking will not make any difference.
If you are trying to return to stock ROM, unlock your bootloader and flash this:

Or if you really want to re-lock it find an RUU appropriate for your radio version and run it after re-locking

What's your device's CID? Type "fastboot getvar cid" in fastboot mode to find out

According to this page HTC__Y13 corresponds to HTC_Europe

So I think you'll be able to use the European RUU. The installation will not continue if it's incompatible, it'll show Error [131]

maybe thats why i keep gettint the "error131" whenever i try to install a RUU...
i'm from portugal, so i'm using a europe ruu everytime i try to install, but i keep getting that error131 and saying that i should install a version compatible with my phone... idk what to do... can you help me?

are your sure bootloader it is not already unlocked?
because you said that you took it without rom
by the way where did you get stuck from htcdev site?
have you installed the prerequisites from htcdev?
did you put token correctly in the token field in order to receive unlock token.bin
also i think there is no ruu with ics firmware thats suits to your cid(i am not sure for that)

I get it like this ...and yes i has made HTCdev unlock before and know how to make it...just not get to final step 13..phone restart and not see HTC menu where select YES and right now in top of bootloader say: "LOCKED" ... i not know what is do past person that own this phone... so i search option to fix this problem but not found it yet

your situation is difficult and with S-ON you can't do much things
did you try to repeat the unlock method?
also try different ruu
i could suggest you to use S-OFF method but unfortunately your device it is not in working condition

Ya i try it again and try every RUU that i found for my phone but as i say tell me that "Main version is older"this message pop up after bootloader load "PG58IMG.zip" ...so i need to found some more new version and i think that will help...but i try all day and with no results :X...so for that i need help and options.. something is wrong with your emmc i think

Ya the last option is that...i search for RUU O2 UK with bootloader 1.27 that will fit my current(because i know that down upgrade is not allow) and think to try fastboot flash zip PG58IMG.zip comand because i think that this will work .....but i can`t found anywhere RUU ..can you say me some good sours... i check may be all that i found in xda

Is possible to put on original GB 1.27 hboot and sign zip file so to by pass bootloader check and allow installation( to not say "Main version is old!") ?

i really don't know mate but i think it is impossible that thing
because we are talking about 2 different firmwares and 2 different hboot versions
original GB>1.17-1.18 hboot version
original ICS>1.27-1.29 hboot version
plus you are S-ON

I check IMAGE CRC on bootloader and everywhere show 0x0 ...i think that this is big problem :X ....what exact mean ? I try to everything without success :crying:
I see only opportunity now on JTAG but after invests 30$ for him if not start will be very stupid :X

My HTC is bricked and I can not access RUUmode, it is S-on and locked. There is no way to recover by fastboot? I tried but it leaves the message that is not possible in S-on. Thanks everyone for tries help me.

You need unlock your bootloader and use HTC Version Tool to downgrade to Nougat

Thanks for answering! Yes, I tried this, however I can't get the code to paste into the htcdev site. Error message, incorrect command or unknown command appears. I have already researched several tutorials to confirm the command and I can't. Any tipos?

Check your HTC driver, my driver version is HTC-Mobile-Driver-v4.17.0.001. Make sure PC reconized your phone and you have folder contain adb stuff.

Make sure you download RUU for right version. Enter right version RUU Nougat on HTC Version Tool

Try reflash RUU if you are using android 7. Or reflash OTA file if you are using android 8.

I'm running into this same issue. I can't boot into my phone. Phone keeps rebooting on my splash screen. I can go into only fastboot screen. When I try and select either Boot to Download or Boot to Recovery mode it gots to the htc screen and then reboots and goes to the splash screen thus continuously rebooting. I have an unlocked AT&T US HTC U Ultra. When i run the below getvar I don't get any sim data.

can you reboot in fastboot mode? here you can find all information
for example my phone codename is ocndugl = DUGL DUAL SIM EMEA

I live in Viet Nam. Single. Freesim i think so.
I can reboot in fastboot mode, but i cannot flash RUU, because all error.
My fastboot mode the same as you without RELOCKED, because i relocked it.
That's why i can't find way to reinstall twrp recovery.

Can somebody help ?

How to unlock if i can't go to usb debug ?

To sum it up, he
1. somehow tinkered with his phone when unlocked
2. relocked bootloader before restoring a stock pristine system
3. is now soft bricked cause he needs to RUU which isn't available as of yet, and we don't know if it'll get leaked
4. he can't boot to OS to re-unlock, S-OFF to downgrade, due to the above mentioned problems.
We're out of options here for the time being. Only one who might currently be able to restore the device might be HTC Support. But that may cost him, as they'll see that the device has been tinkered with.

If you have saved the unlock token from the first time you unlocked the phone, you can use this token again!
Simply flash unlock_code.bin with the command:
fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin

If you have saved the unlock token from the first time you unlocked the phone, you can use this token again!
Simply flash unlock_code.bin with the command:
fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin

I'm not the one who unlock it so i can't find it ....
Why it so hard

like a genius got too far into the tinkering and have done same. S-On so cannot change CID and re-locked so wont let me get into TWRP. Still have unlock bin but no joy as when I flashed custom it would have reset oem unlock to off so i get following:
(bootloader) flash unlocktoken
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] : /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/frp
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0X00, disable unlock
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] oem unlock Turn Off!
Obviously can't get back into Android to enable said unlock so seemingly out of options unless there is a way to flip that byte.

Also device is Telstra and there is apparently not a single Telstra (Australia) RUU for U11 on face of earth.

I do have a second Telstra U11 device around the house. Is there a way to image from that device to this one?

The problem is obvious. It's a Chinese phone. The firmware currently loaded is Chinese and you're trying to flash a Taiwanese firmware on a multi region cid.
My guess is that the phone has been messed with.
If flashing the same version firmware as what is on it now (2.47.1405.2) fails you will need to get the mid to check it matches the cid for region. If not you have problems ahead.

Can I ask what that tool was? And where did he get it? . Also when he went s- off what did he do to fix it? Just curious as I have been following this thread . Thanks

Cool. Maybe I could could have connected to this "tool" and fixed my U11 [emoji20][emoji22]. I also "relocked" my phone and couldn't find figure out how to fix it. I had to send my phone to the HTC repair shop a couple weeks ago. Still waiting for a positive response from them.
