If its possible or if anyone can. I need the param.bin and persist.img from the tmo OnePlus 8t. My goal is to revert back to tmo OOS but I cant back up my device's param nor persiSt because it recognizes the device as an OnePlus 9R. if anybody can donate me those two files, I can test and verify if I can return to TMO OOS and help others that might be facing the same problem as I am facing. Here is the msm tool for TMO users:

EDIT-: Managed to get hands on a param.bin from a fellow 8t user. By flashing it I managed to restore my device to OOS TMO using the MSMDownloadTool. I suggest to everybody to backup their persist.img as well as the param.bin no matter the case. Those two files can save you from troubles that MSM might not help with especially if your persist.img breaks.
I might be able to help you. I'm a little rusty at the OP devices. I have my 8T unlocked but still using stock. My only need for root thus far was to run a specific app that interfaces with the Qualcomm radios. I took an OTA and never rooted after that. I reckon if I could get to QFIL mode it's just a simple DD command. I may have a stock TMO ROM somewhere too. I'm currently 11.0.12.14.KB09CB. Which version are you looking for?
Glad that you have answered

Nah man no worries thats why i created this Thread so people can help out. To enter into fastbootd u can do it from bootloader by typing in cmd fastboot reboot fastboot. the other way is with adb and typing in cmd adb reboot fastboot. u must have usb debuggin enabled and if u r on OOS 11 then u must have the stock recovery

Factory Image won't work unfortunately...I purchased a stock image of my Phone. But made the mistake of using one of the DGTKS files that was closest to my L09 model as instructed in the unbrick method (METHOD 2) I succeeded in unbricking my phone and then flashing my Factory Image but lost my imei & serial...so I used HCU to reinstate my imei etc and managed to get a very week signal that would cut out as soon as you went inside or jumped in the car.
Nothing I tried worked ( flashed modem img etc) I had the phone back to out of the box state ( Bootloader locked ...stated in Fastboot ) but weak signal. I took it back to the manufacturer who didn't seem to detect that I had mucked around with the firmware and replaced the motherboard under warranty.
I was given a second chance and dodged an expensive bullet.....I havn't even unlocked the bootloader on the replacement phone.
XDA site needs to warn people to stay away from this method (method 2) If I ever was stupid enough to brick my phone again, I would use the Phoenix tool only to flash my own firmware and never their modified DGTKS files which I can concur that the NXT files for the mate 8 have all been removed from their supported firmware list.
As i tel to other people , you need to erase modemnvm_factory / modemnvm_system / modemnvm_backup partions and to flash them with a partions comming from a full working mate 8
Tested and worked my mate 8 work correctly now
But sorry for all who wait for solution i can't share this files it's the choice of the person who helped me to do this and they have right

For the moment i used dc-pheonix and xml scrypt that i have edited from an original factory rom unpacked not like the one in dc unocker
Edited it to erase and write the new partions only
But the right partions have to be dumped from a fully working mate 8 and than flashed to your bricked one
I will try to create a free solution soon to do not have to pay again dc unlocker

Just contact support saying you want to go to OOS, that local upgrade of OOS builds over H2OS don't work and they will send you an email with unbrick tool package link. When L2 support will remote in your computer, keylog them so that after the end of the session you can download the file back, use the password and then have a copy you could share here.
pls upload msmtool and share if u have get. i bricked my phone.
Does anyone have the latest modem for the T-Mobile oneplus 8? I'm not sure if I wasn't supposed to create a new thread for this. I know the 5G SA modem broke service for a lot of people but I'm talking about the firmware before that. I converted to the global rom and my service isn't the best and I don't have a good modem backed up. Thank you
Hey there,
If I'm understanding your post correctly, you are lookjt for the modem file "before" the 5g SA, right?

Yes, I was the one that had messaged you earlier about it
Uploading now. Dated for 6.6.20 is when I took the backup. Not sure what version of OOS that was. Just FYI, I came back from OOS11 and now on 10.5.12 running the 5G SA modem from 10.5.17 that was pulled and so far everything seems to be working fine. Bluetooth, WiFi, Data, etc. Keeping a backup of the modem that I'm uploading on my phone just in case I run into issues. Will let you know when upload is complete and provide a link.
Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18YSRDIsgFlKkeeWd9gBDyaD_n6ABZ-YP/view?usp=sharing
Either connect to PC, put in adb/fastboot folder, reboot to Fastboot and type in Command Prompt/PowerShell "fastboot flash modem modem.emmc.win" or make a backup in TWRP, add it to the folder where the backup was made, reboot recovery, then you should be able to restore it. Let me know if you need help.

Thanks for this. I am going to use my phone as a guinea pig before a master reset/MSM from a bad power drain. 5 hours on 60hz
Edit: ya it sucks as bad as everyone says it does. TMobile fail. My mobile data is 0.4mbps and before it was still bad at 25ish
Interesting... I have the global oneplus 8 ( 10.5.12.IN21AA )... in Champaign, IL I'm on band 66 but according to T-Mobile, 5G SA is in the area. 25 mbps down, 40 mbps up.
1. tried out that 5g SA modem image & lost all of the mobile network options. Data still worked, but still on 66. flashed back to the modem.img from 10.5.12.IN21AA and all of the options came back. 2.7 mbps down, 1 mbps up.
2. tried out the non 5G modem image... 26 mpbs down, 2.75 mbps up
3. flash back to the global modem.img... 26 mpbs down, 2.7 mbps up
I'm guessing the slower up rate is probably due to congestion, but what do you guys think? do I need to flash the dsp or anything else to not lose mobile network settings on the 5G SA modem img?
Looking for 10.5.20 modem IMG, anyone happen to extract it yet ? Still 10.5.10 here...
If anyone is able to upload/post a link to the latest T-Mobile firmware (10.5.20) I can extract the modem and test.

I have two phones available to check and neither one of them have got it yet. Super crazy.
I was trying to root my OP7 pro at Android 11 at OS 11.0.3.1 and I accidentally bricked my phone. I tried to download from and unzip it and then clicked flash all but it didn't work. Then, I tried the MSM tool but I think it was for Android 10 and again it got stuck at error: download vendor.img
Also, I have encountered this error Qualcomm crash dump mode dm-verity device corrupted force dump kernel restart. Now my phone is showing this message -
<Error!>
Upgrade download failed!
This is caused by download interruption.
Recommend you use download try again.
You need to confirm if there is failure message on download tool or not when you see this error.
Also please check if you disconnect usb or click stop button when the download is not finished yet.
You can press any key exit this message.
This is the message I am currently seeing on my device. Trying every solution available online and sometimes I am able to see my device on PC but when I open GM1911 I don't see Internal Storage.

Hello,
My phone is crapped coz I flashed a wrong boot.img on it after messing up the update (forgot to flash magisk and lost root). I can access Fastboot still but that's about it. IF anyone can provide the right boot.img for that device that would be grately appreciated.
I'll use it to see if I can restore my phone and then patch it correctly this time.
