Question The backs cracked By itself - ASUS ROG Phone 5 / 5s

Hello, I have an unusual problem Well, I once wrote here on the forum whether other users of this phone Asus Rog Phone 5 Do they have a hard time with the volume buttons because in my copy they were stuck when pressed? Today I was cleaning the phone and I noticed a crack on the back cover from the button side Oddly enough, the buttons have been working perfectly for some time, they click I do not know when it could have been damaged because the device has never fallen down I suspect that the damage could have happened spontaneously due to the badly glued housing, the stresses that arose as a result could have contributed to the malfunction of the volume buttons Can you advertise it or has anyone heard of a similar case?

Could it burst by itself?

The only thing that would generally cause the phone to crack on it's own like that is a swollen battery. Hopefully that is not the case with your device.

Nothing is swollen, everything works, even the buttons click and normally recede The warranty is unlikely to cover it, unless they believe it, it makes sense to advertise?

not sure but I had the rog phone 2 and it cracked near the hole on the back and I never dropped it I now have the rog phone 5 and it cracked kind of like that one mine is in a case I'm wondering if it has something to do with heat

As long as the phone works fine with all the functions, nothing has been damaged.
the arrow u r pointing is cell antenna ...... and the connector which is seen removed might b display connector
for ur safety dont remove any sticker or patches .... better not to take any chances

screen separation

I'm noticing that after having the M8 since release date that the screen is starting to separate from the body in the lower right corner. you can't notice it but of you push on that area slightly firmer than you normally would you can feel it bend and flex as though its no longer connected to the body. I've had it in a case and have dropped it maybe twice from a small distance to carpet. something you should keep an eye out for.

HTC want me to secure $299 with a credit card so they can have the option to tell me it was my fault, really... I asked if they would give the option to get my phone back and they said no. My reply was, why would I buy this phone again knowing it has this issue.
That sucks.., what happened to the customer is always right? Just kidding they will probably say you took the phone apart to try mess with its guts.

What the HECK is behind this spot on the SP3?!?!?

OK this is the 3rd SP3 I've received that has this issue, it's utterly baffling to me. I keep swapping them out and keep getting this issue. I have this one square in the upper left corner that does not detect touch at all, but it does detect the pen. It's sporadic, I can reboot and it's gone, or let the sp3 go to sleep and sometimes it's gone, but it always eventually returns.
This latest SP3 I got is only 2 days out of the box, I've probably only used it a total of 5 or 6 hours and it's already doing this. Having 3 of these fail like this you would think it's something that I am doing, but all my SP3 does is either sit on my nightstand next to my bed plugged in or it's in my laptop bag, that's it. It doesn't go near magnets, electricity, or anything weird I can think about.
Anyhow here is a picture of the affected area. Does anyone know what is behind this area? Maybe it's hardware that is bad or something? I have to exchange this now for a 4th replacement, sigh.
According to the ifixit breakdown, it looks like the msata ssd is located behind that part of the screen
Can the heat from the ssd really cause an issue?how hot is it getting before you start having issues?

S6 flat SM-G920f screen glitches / distorted bars

Good morning everyone, this morning my S6 flat started having this weird problem..

}
This happens randomly, looks like the "new" screen gets compressed and distorted into the bar, as i scroll left and right i can see the distortion scroll along my finger.
I tried restoring the phone but no luck, recording the screen results in a perfect video without bars and distortion.
I will try flashing a new firmware or downgrade to an old stock fw..
My first guess is that the screen is somewhat damaged.
I've been super careful and never dropped it.
Stock 7.0 EU rom.
Anyone got the same problem and fixed it somehow?
Thank you in advance!
I recorded a little video of the problem:
It's look like a hardware problem. Maybe you've dropped it, or can it be water damage?

Sadly i never dropped and never got it wet
I noticed it happens when the phone gets warm, could be a GPU problem like the RROD on the xbox? :silly:

And this is the new replacement screen
So finally my phone fell down and cracked the screen. Figured I should go and replace it straight away.
Mi Mix 3 isn't officially available in my country (Malaysia), so have to go with aftermarket "original" parts as claimed by the repairer.
Replaced, and it worked...... for less than a day. the screen turned black soon after.
But strange thing is, if I hold the power button and reboot the phone, the MI logo came up, indicating the screen works - but not in MIUI. Fastboot screen, recovery are working.
What can I do? Should I flash it from China ROM to Global and mayyyyybe it will work? Ugh so annoying
Check for loose or damaged connectors.
Are the battery and its connection good?
Try reflashing to same firmware version.
It's possible the mobo was damaged by the impact or G loading it experienced. BGA chipsets are intolerant of board flexing and a high impact can fracture solder joints including the hidden BGA ones.
