Has anyone rooted the A32 5g with the intention on using it as a hotspot so you can bypass your carriers hotspot limit?
Or has anyone rooted this and used the rooted hotspot?
Just looking to get an idea of speeds and connectivity.
I hacked an old Nighthawk M1, but speeds don't get up to 5G and it's spotty. Looking for a better Solution and the A32 5g is cheap.

Compile the tweaked kernel and
I managed to deadset the TTL to 65. So speeds should not be a problem
Hotspot uses device data not hotspot data.
Also that M1 might need imei repair for the good speeds

I'm shopping for an s10e. I've done a lot of searching but haven't found anyone specifically saying this will work or not.
Does anyone use T-Mobile in the US and have the international unlocked version?
Does wifi calling work? VOLTE? Anything else you could add?

I think it will work if with VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling you flash the service with the Unlocked (SM-G970U1) firmware. There is a thread that lasts it how to get access to our and flash it on different variants of the S10e. I'm at work so I can't hunt it down for you.
I have international S10e (SM-G970F) and use Ultramobile (MVNO on T-Mobile's network) and both VoLTE and WiFi calling work flawlessly.

That thread is for flashing across the US Snapdragon variants I believe.
Anyone confirm if the hotspot throttles after 18gb on ATT network? I currently have a Xiaomi and it doesn't throttle because ATT can't see if I'm using my hotspot it only shows data not how it's being used.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra N985F/DS. (Gsm)
Yes, i understand that his not own a 5g modem.
I dont know how he can connect to 5g WIFI,
And share by the hotspot 5G connection,
But in the cellular section there is no 5g.
Otherwise,
The phone had an Exynos 990.
The Exynos 990 compilitable 5G connection.
If i will put an frimeware of the N986B (that is the Ver. that have 5g from samsung)
So the phone will have 5g connection?
P.s
I didnt try anything.
My cellular data pack from my cellular company dosent had 5g, its a pack of 4g, to test a 5g i will need to talk with them and get a new package.
I wish that what is said is good enough for my question.

You can't flash N986B version on N985F, there is a different amount of ram (12 vs 8) and the 5G modem is not integrated in the N985F so you can't have a 5G connection even with flashing Note 20 U 5G firmware
Is anyone else using this on Cricket or ATT? I can't get a 5g signal at all, only 4g LTE.
AT&T blocks 5g service on phones with unlocked bootloaders. I have the same problem and have tried every fix offered.
I'm using a moto 5G ace on cricket. There was just one update where I had 5G access and that was RZKS31.Q3-45-16-8-5. The next update after that 45-16-8-7 nixed it. No root or unlocks here but maybe that's enough info for someone who is to downgrade and diff what they did wrong to let us on.

Same here. I'm in central California and all of our 5G data speed was garbage, even slower than 4G LTE. I'm assuming the update was to rework our signal to the network. I really like my phone but Cricket seems to have it out for our mid-priced, top grade phone lol
