Hello!
I'm having a weird problem after updating my Xperia Z3 (C6643 brazilian variant - Single SIM) to Sony's Official 6.0.1 - 23.5.A.0.575.
When I am playing a game, sometimes the game kinda "exits" immersive mode showing top notification bar for an short instant and then coming back to immersive. This is causing some of my games to Pause and its really annoying me! Is anybody facing the same issue?
I noticed that this Issue is not only related with games, but also affects other things, for example, when I am texting in whatsapp the keyboard randomly closes as if I had "touched outside the keyboard". I don't know if this is related to the same bug, but my guess is yes.
[edit]
I found out that the problem is not only related with games but with any app. For instance, when I am watching YouTube the video keeps randomly pausing even if it's already loaded (not an stream problem)
And somehow the problem is related to wifi, when I turn off wifi and play some games the issue disappears. But when I turn on wifi the issue occours.
Can anybody help me?
I'm really sad because I loved marshmallow but this bug is really annoying to me..
Thank you!
Regards,
I'm facing simular issues. But I've noticed on a different app, the screen recognizes touches where there isn't any. But not only with WiFi, even with WiFi turned off it does it.
Also, it gets really bad when charging! That's probably why everything pauses on your device. Because it recognized touches where there aren't any!
This bug turned up on my phone on the 570 update and still exists on the 575 version
i know this question is kinda old but i am xperiencing the same issue with my d6653 will try to downgrade tonight to know if it has affected the unit. One techincian here in the Philippines associates the random touches with the heating issue that some units experience. May leave a permanent damage to the phone screen...
The UI and touches have become far more smoother and responsive after this updated BUT also comes with another issue.
Multi touches/Ghost touches now VERY NOTICEABLE and screen freezes always occur and for a temporary fix you have to lock and unlock your phone. So when playing PUBG those ghost touches will mess up your aiming example when moving and aiming together suddenly your aiming aims to the sky/ground/random places with no explanation. Also the nav buttons and the middle area sometimes doesn't register any touches and this happened around 8.11.23.
8.11.15 =probably have the less multi touch/ghost touch issues but have some sort of delay around the edges/keyboard lag
8.11.23 =fixed the touch delay on edges/keyboard lag but multi touches and screen freezes is more noticeably.
8.11.29 =same issues as .23 except it's the issues is getting worser + screen flicker yay
8.12.7 =touch and UI overall is much smoother but issues from .23 and .29 is now getting out of hand and playing tap intensive games like MOBAs and drums is heavily affected. PUBG also keeps aimiing randomly at the skies/ground when aiming+moving
I wish the devs bring the touch edges delay fix back to 8.11.15 and see how it goes
I hope the next version fixes the multi touches issue and screen freezes also
On 8.12.7 All the touch issues are solved.

Agree with every point. Plus there's lot of typing lag & freeze on Gboard now
If you're on Xiaomi forum/beta group please raise a issue with all these details.

Mine is China Variant around September batch and clean flashed 8.12.7.
Still doesn't fix the screen freezes, multitouches/ghost touches and screen flickers
But when I used 8.11.15 never had screen freezes, ghost touches error. Only touch delay lag.
I suggest your should try tapping intensive game that involve tapping on the edges like drums or sthing to check your phone.
Some people claiming it's fixed but somehow don't even know what those touch issues are.
And I'm a poco fan

For forum just google miui forum & log in with MI account.
Even i'm not on closed beta so i dont know about close group butvyou can find one telegram ground by googling POCO Official telegram.
And last thing is to tag poco team & jai mani on twitter with issue. It works many time s
no touch issues here
pocophone f1

As a non gamer I must say that touch seemed fine to me until flashing 8.11.29 (previously had 8.11.15).
Now the touch response seems really laggy and typing on Gboard became highly frustrating.
I've read in forums like a dozen times every week people saying that the next build fixed all touch problems, but to me, it's worse than ever.
Hope the next build fixes this, or I will just revert back to 8.11.15 until they can sort this out, assuming that the problem is not hardware without the expected quality.

Stable 10.1.3 with android 9
Same issue here
Same issue here when playing any moba and pubg specific so when any update or fixing for this problem let us know
Has anyone tried 8.12.13?.. are these touch issues resolved- ghost touch and screen unresponsiveness??
Just got the open beta 8.12.13 OTA, following are the observation :-
1) Keyboard lag is minimized.
2) Scrolling near edges is improved but still buggy near bezels.
3) YouTube picture-in-picture mode doesn't work in full screen gesture mode in poco launcher home screen.
4) Screen flickering in lock screen is gone but further need to be tested.
4) Icon refresh is still there when minimizing any app.
5) Back gesture now works properly when any app folder on home screen is open.
6) Tuch delay of back button of navigation Bar is gone.
7) Touch sensitive of screen is bit improved.
8) Something flower like icon is added in left bottom of lockscreen.
9) Notification icon is same it was in previous beta.
RN7 PRO: June update 10.3.7.0
Off late I have observed any app opened and suddenly it crashes on random basis after few minutes.
This is happening mostly with MI apps but other apps also keep crashing at random intervals.
Referring to the active app opened in front of you.
Has anyone of you facing similar issues?
What is the solution to this annoyance??
Yes i have been faced this too,
Actually i have f faced that my mi daemon is stopped working and due to this my got to random reboot
Final solution was that i have to flash the room again
pubg reboot
Hello, does anyone experience lag issues with the MIUI 12 update? Specifically MIUI 12.0.2 Global Stable (QJKEUXM).
There are really noticeable frame drops on the system UI itself, the pulling down of Control Center/Notifications panel is laggy. Opening the Poco launcher apps drawer is like 5-10 fps. Scrolling is really not smooth. Frame drops are also present in MLBB.
I haven't encountered such issues. Have you tried performing a factory reset?
Fixed
The lag issue was gone after I restarted the phone. I haven't performed any factory reset or debloat it.
Hi. For me ui, net browsing and gaming runs perfectly. But i have problem with suttering/frameskips in 60fps videos - on youtube, vlc player, even in camera app viewer. Sometimes its ok and the movies play perfectly smooth, but after some time the problem come back. Looks like software bug, maybe the problem is with cpu/gpu driver that accelerate decoding.
I can confirm lagging issue on some videos. Looks like an update to MIUI 12 caused that.
I have a problem with all videos played through Canal + Europe application even in 480p and 1080p. It doesn't matter.
Sometimes it is happening in HBO go app as well so it is not application issue.
Looks like some video drivers, codecs are missing for CPU ?
Confirmed
I can confirm this problem on my GFs poco f2 pro. After some time it just started lagging while pulling down the notifications menu. Restarting solves the problem temporarily but it occurs again after some time.
I've had no issues, however I did do a factory reset after the major update.

Miui 12 definitely lags more than miui 11 but the battery life is pretty good. For me the things that bother me are full screen gesture stutters and YouTube portrait to landscape rotation stutter which doesn't happen all the time only every once in a while. If you reboot your phone and try swiping down notifications at the start you will also notice stutter but this goes away after a few seconds. It may come back again the longer you use it without rebooting and could need a reboot again.
Miui 12 android 11 fixes some of these stutters but the battery life wasn't as good as Android 10 when I tested it and there are a few incompatible apps for now like 3rd party launchers and gestures. One of the ways to fix miui system gesture and launcher lag is to actually use 3rd party apps. I'm hoping updates improve battery life but keep the smooth performance. Either that or wait for custom roms because snapdragon 865 should not be thls sluggish and I think many know it's because of miui

Me too
That "major update" is from Android 10 to 11? In that case, surely it is better to make a factory reset.
No issues so far.... Still as fast as lightning....

I was having same problems, especially with gestures on, with MIUI12 update on Redmi note 8t (willow). 12.0.1.0 didn't resolve anything, but the newest (12.0.2.0 RU) update made recents list / task view lag disappear. What was left is the most prominent lag, the one when swiping up to enter recents from the home screen. Switching to an alternative launcher (Nova Launcher) resolved that, though the entire sequence of crossfading from home screen to recents is unable to render, which i don't mind, as long as it runs smooth.
Now, i've done some changes in developer options, namely disabling logging and system tracing. Im not 100% sure, but it seems that increasing system tracing buffer to the maximum also made some change, but nothing i could do would make the home screen to recents lag disappear.
Hey everyone!
i posted about this issue a few days ago too.
i'm experiencing lag when switching between apps and generally navigating within apps as well. It all goes away when i reboot the phone. But for a while after which a reboot is necessary again
Has anyone else been experiencing this?
