Hello everyone first time posting on xda in a while have this Moto G Stylus XT2131-1 (Denver) rooted with magisk I downloaded the boot.img for my phone edited it and flashed it with stock unlocked bootloader and have root access to apps and su in adb but system is read only and I don't have adb root access for some reason even though I used a magisk module to change debuggable to 1 and secure to 0 and was even able to disable verity with su in termux but if I set build to userdebug developer settings tab basically won't open at all and adb is a no go but still the dev portion is read only is there any way to change the boot screen on Android 11 I have also tried magisk modules that didn't work.
Does anyone know how to change the boot screen?
Does anyone have a twrp image for denver not Sally?
Are there any custom roms for this device?
You have the Moto G Stylus 2021 5G, not the Moto G Stylus 2021
Moto G Stylus 5G
The Moto G Stylus 5G is a 6.8" phone with a 1080x2400 resolution display. The Qualcomm SM4350 Snapdragon 480 5G chipset is paired with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The main camera is 48+8+5+2MP and the selfie camera is 16MP. The battery has a 5000mAh capacity.

Unfortunately TWRP doesn't have support for it: https://twrp.me/Devices/Motorola/.

I'm assuming there are different variants of the xt2131-1 model? Because mine wasn't eligible for the unlock program

Hi all,
I won this phone in the arcade of a hotel in Spain. It's a Hyundai SP 5S. Seems like a legitimate Hyundai product from Hyundai Mobile in Spain.
Its specs are:
Android 4.4.2
MTK 6572M, dual core at 1GHz
5" screen at 480 x 854 (this sucks, main reason I want to root is to upgrade the resolution)
512MB RAM, 4GB flash
It's actually quite a good phone (especially since it was almost free) but it seems like I may be unable to root this. I've plenty of experience of rooting and installing many custom ROM's on my previous phones.
I've tried:
Latest Framaroot
Vroot/iRoot
Many other one click apps
I've dumped the ROM with SP Flash Tool and attempted to make CWM using the latest MediaTek Droid Tools however it gives the missing kernelGZ and no split boot image errors.
'fastboot oem unlock' only responds with "..." in fact all fastboot oem commands respond with the "..." however fastboot reboot works.
I was going to try the Easy Magic TWRP Installer but it says it doesn't work with 6Mb recovery sizes, which this device has. (checked in Block Info)
So I'm at a loss at what to do to get root on this phone.
Any help would be much appreciated!

But now the root that taking regular but this as a Padra application can even uninstall it but it's root access permissions everything as it is and always has been, but now wonder appeared an update of improvement and stability and security of android the motorola if I low road ota and install goes from being a problem I have root and without TWRP? I thank you for Honeycomb:legal:
I have OEM unlocked and a unlocked bootloader. Kingroot fails right out of the box as well as Kingoroot. I am on the carrier unlocked pixel 4a and know how to root magisk with pc. How can I root pixel 4a without pc and otg method?
Well bad news for you one click root apps doesn't work. They only work on phones with android version ranging from android 4.0 to android 6.0. On android 7 Google patched that exploit that the one click root apps uses, so those apps doesn't work now. Your PC is broken?
No I'm saying I can root with magisk and pc but sometimes I don't feel like using pc. Was asking if there were any other methods if I don't feel like having a computer ready
I use my own personal computer no one else's so I don't feel guilty if I accidently download a virus.
Well apologies but the good old days while you can root and flash a custom ROM completely on your phone (with a SD card) are gone for good. A computer is necessary.

You need a USB C to USB C cable. And a rooted phone with the Magisk adb & fastboot module, and termux installed. That's it. I've unlocked and rooted the Moto E (2020), Moto G Fast, Moto G7 Play, and Pixel 4a with this method. Just open termux and type in SU then fastboot commands will work exactly the same as they do on a PC.
Edit: Forgot to mention, you can also flash stock firmware with this. You can run the flash-all.sh scripts provided by Google. Just extract & copy everything in the zip to /data/local/tmp, set permissions to 0744, and everything will work properly. The magisk adb module also works with fasbootd too.
Hello, there are some info on the net on how to root a moto e6 using twrp but they end up in a dead end because there is is no twrp for the moto e6 (which is crazy when you think that there is one for nearly all the moto phones).
I need to install magisk on my phone so that I can use the magisk hide on the moto e6. I read that one can use orangefox and I read some pretty convoluted way to root it on this forum and it seems to be quite difficult.
Is there a simple way to root this device? Thanks so much!

Hello people, I am VERY new to rooting, so I stopped here to see if my device had an unofficial TWRP version but instead I saw a bunch of issues regarding the phone, should I wait to root my Moto G Stylus 5G (2022)? also, why is the 2022 model not a separate device tree on these forums?
Is it possible to unlock the bootloader without ANY issues for this phone currently?
Am I able to use TWRP, or some other recovery system? if so, what would be the best one?
What concerns are there with custom kernels on this model?
Does Magisk work on this phone?
If I am able to unlock my bootloader without concerns, and set up and use Magisk, what are the steps I should follow for this particular device?
Thanks for the help!

I wouldn't advise trying anything your not prepared for. If you want root then patch your boot.img for the 2022 and flash it. I do not believe there is any twrp or custom ROM just yet because it is so new. Also do some research about Magisk v25.1. it is the newest and most stable imo. Make sure if you do root with Magisk 25+ that you DO NOT disable vbmetas. Just an fyi
