Can you post the rom link.,
It's simple, if you have a ZIP file=TWRP.
if it is a TGZ file=Miflash.

My Phone cannot be flashed into any ROM except the original MIUI

I want to flash an RR into my Mi 4C. So I unlocked my bootloader by registering in Mi.com.
Firstly I flashed in a TWRP Rec
Code:
fastboot flash recovery ..../twrp.img
fastboot boot twrp.img
And successfully boot into rec.
Then I tried to install the ROM. After flashing it stuck on the Mi Logo every time.
Tried sideload and "install" by the TWRP but didn't work.
You can simply check your bootloader status by

TWRP selection is related to Android version? Could you please explain a little? When I was flashing my Nexus 6P I've never considered about Android version

After you flashed Nougat based Xiaomi rom, you can't boot on the older version of TWRP.
There is a new TWRP for nougat rom.
If you already flashed Nougat based Xiaomi rom, use the new version. You can find it in here https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/7-2-16-17.38651/

The screen goes dark and never turned on. Press the power button only to realize it Reboot into bootloader.
Every time I reboot it reboot in Bootloader.
Plus I do a FULL wipe every time I flash in and did not work ?
UPDATE!! I flashed in a ROM in XIAOMI.EU and succeed.But why ???
Still failed in flashing in other ROMs

xiaomi.eu provides a modded MIUI. Maybe it's unofficial.
I got a weekly-update version and flashed it in and succeed.
It is MIUI 8

then connect to fastboot & fastboot oem unlock
now flash TWRP for 5.1 rom https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24421527759888487
boot into TWRP & install any other rom.
for nougat based xiaomi.eu rom, read their introductions carefully https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/7-2-16-17.38651/ Don't flash TWRP for nougat rom if you still in 5.1 ( TWRP for nougat https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767135741 )

Flash Q roms from OOS 10.0.4 BA

Hello I want to install a Android 10 ROM but I just can't do it. I've followed instructions and tried to install crdroid, Paranoid and Pixel Experience. Everything result as a never ending boot animation or "no command" screen.
The logcat spam me with
Code:
[email protected]::IVendorF ingerprintExtensions/default
ServiceManagement: getService: Trying again for [email protected]::IVendorF ingerprintExtensions/default...
I've followed those instructions
From last OOS, reboot to fastboot, boot TWRP, flash last OOS and TWRP, reboot, do the same, reboot, format Data, reboot, flash the ROM and TWRP, reboot.
I've may added some extra reboot to be sure but it should work fine.
What did I do wrong, is this because I come from a BA version and not AA ? or 10.0.4 instead of 10.0.3 ?
I need ppl to tell me if they were able to flash a ROM coming from 10.0.4 BA please.
Thx for your support
Please someone, don't tell me I'm the only one having a European firmware...
I can confirm this too when i use EU vendor (GM1913).
I just use MSM to convert the device to International (after backing up EVERYTHING).
Using MSM->Unlocking bootloader again->Installing AOSP

Thx it worked
I put the link for MSM tool here to complete your answer
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/msm-tool-guac-t3934691
Why did you not just falsh the international version in twrp instead of the eu version and then flash a custom rom of your choice. No need for the msm tool.

Unable to Install Custom Rom

Hey guys! I am currently on EU rom 12.0.5 . I was thinking about switching to Evolution X rom. But Whenever I am trying to install it via TWRP it is showing the error [Failed to mount '/syetem_root' (Invalid Argument)]. I looked for the solution and tried by changing the file type to ext2 and then again to ext4 but no success! I am able to flash the EU rom again but no other Rom!
Please Help.
Thank You

Okay, You want to flash new Android 11 Evolution X 5.2 Rom. First you need to flash Miui fastboot ROM if Poco X2 then PheonixIn Fastboot ROM or if Redmi K30 then Pheonix Fastboot ROM using Mi flash tool or you can flash vendor file only using twrp then you need to flash new twrp recovery provided by CryllicBuster and now you can flash Evolution X Android 11 rom. Enjoy

MOhit, is there no way to just change our device model id TO PHOENIX from PHOENIXIN? I'm tired of flashing these mini firmware roms. I believe any future OTA update can brick the device with the wrong firmware.

With the TWRP or download the rom, put it on the internal storage, go to update, 3 points at the top right, select package (stable beta possible not accept).https://new.c.mi.com/global/miuidownload/detail/guide/1

You need a Fastboot.rom to recover these files but there is none.
Take another version and flash it. For example
Xiaomi 12 Global Stable Fastboot V13.0.10.0.SLCMIXM 12.0 5.9 GB 2022-10-20
