Hai hello...bought mi 11 ultra ...1 week ago ....it comes with 55w charger ...and i purchased 67w charger separately ...
i dont know whats the issue ...its facing ...its charging very slowly ..with 55w charger ...it charges from 1 to 100 in 45 mins.
with 67w charger it takes nearly 45 mins to 50 mins to complete from 2 to 100 percent ...i dont know whats the issue..bought the charger on mi offical site only and they dont have return or replacement option. How these youtubers able to charger there device from 0 to 100 in 36 to 38 mins. i think they just bought money from the mi company and faking us.
Did anyone facing this slow charging issue thought check the ouput voltage and current ..but most of the detector available in market can calculate upto ...30v and 5.1A but ...mi 67w producing power is 11v and 6.1A ..so the value produce by the detector will not be accurate ...anyone have idea whether its software issue ..or company faking us and ...i charged my device from 1 to 100 without clearing ram and then always on display on ...
As one can read here the charging power isn’t as aggressive as the 120w of last year’s Mi 10 Ultra. But 67w of wired charging plus 67w of wireless charging is top-notch, especially wireless charging. In testing, wired charging charges the phone to 22% in 5 minutes, 90% in 30 minutes, and it takes only 36 minutes to fully charge to 100%. Wireless charging charged up the phone to 14% in 5 minutes, 78% in half an hour, and it took 43 minutes to fill up to 100%. For supporting such a powerful wireless charging phone, Xiaomi has also launched an 80w wireless charging dock.

Hello. I bought a Moto G two weeks ago and I got a 5V - 1A(output) charger for it. It took about 2.5 - 3 hours to fully charge it. My charger broke and I bought another one today with an output of 700mA( at least this is what was written on it) and I noticed it was charging my phone very slow, about 3% per 10 min( 96% for 5 hours, if you calculate it). I brought it back to the seller for that reason(even though the seller insisted that it was better for the battery to be charged slow). What kind of charger should I buy? And how long should my phone take to charge(optimal time) ?
You can calculate this. Battery is 2070mAh, which means if you have 1A (1000mA) charger it should take about 2 hours. if you have 700mA charger it should be full in about 3 hours. That's in theory. In reality it takes a bit more due to efficiency of charging process.
With a 10v wall charger and Moto G default charging cable, 1h and 30 minutes maximum. This is for when the battery is at 0 percent.

And the phone still consumes energy if it is turned on, or being used during charging.

Does this still apply when charging from PC with original charging Motorola charging cable?
I charge mine in about an hour and 30/50 minutes.

Yes it does, because charging from pc only gives you 0.5 amps i.e if you're using a USB2.0
Hey guys I got myself Pixel 3 yesterday and drained the battery to zero and started system and kept on charging.. it took 2 hours to full charge. Just wanted to confirm that is it same with everyone else here?
Post your charge times from 0 to 100 here
Yeah the supposed fast charge Google advertises sucks
Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
Very slow...I saw the ampere meter, and it shows that 14w ish maximum and 10w for average. I guess it may take 2 hours from 0 to 100. Suck google
And they advertise "7 hours of use with just 15 minutes of charge" lol.
Pixels have awfully slow charging times. Can't rely on them. Mate 20 Pro takes 65 minutes to charge a 4200mah battery from 0 - 100. You get 15W wireless on that. Pixel stand will charge the Pixel 3 just as quickly as the cable as it's around 10W haha.
Yup.. Charging is too slow.. Infact, the charging time estimated (which is shown on the lock screen when the phone is being charged) is also wrong.. May be it gets adjusted over time...
A wired charge is about 90 minutes. The wireless is another story because only Google Certified Wireless chargers do the "rapid" charge. Mine can do 10w on almost all phones except the Pixel 3... which runs at 5w.
I think that the charge is quicker at first, then slows down as the battery nears 100

I've had my 7 Pro 8/256 for a week now and was really hoping to see USB-PD 5V3A charging. In fact, I ordered a USB-PD USB-C power bank specifically for this.
I've also tried my Aukey PA-Y10 46W Wall Charger as well. USB-PD (PDO) 5V 3A | 9V 3A | 12V 3A | 15V 3A | 20V 2.3A.
USB-C to C Cables, U Green 3ft and Aukey 3ft.
When I connect the power, it doesn't indicate "charging rapidly" as it does on Pixel 2/3. Tested using Ampere. 1.7-1.9A even when the battery is only at 20-40% Far cry from 3A max.
When connected to the Dash Charger from my OP5 with OP5 cable, I get the standard 5V4A (3.3A in Ampere) of Dash with a Charging Rapidly logo and a blue lightning bolt.
Were we lied to? The article says it is supported but there is nothing indicated during my real world testing to show it actually is any faster than using a 5V2A charger. I livechatted with OP Support yesterday and they did confirm that OP7 Pro supports 5V3A USB-PD spec but the rep didn't understand what I was asking when there was no notification for rapid charging.
https://www.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro-usb-pd-hdmi-variable-refresh-rate/
yeah on my PD charger it takes 1 hour 50 to charge from 20 to 100
If you want to see the actual rate of charging, I recommend using an app called 3C Battery Monitor. I use it to keep track of my phone's rate of battery drain when using certain apps or how fast something is actually charging. In order to save battery, I only have it logging the battery usage every 10 minutes but you can set the rate to be faster.
I'm my first picture below, I was purposely draining the battery down to 1% to test out the speed of the warp charger, but it was only sampling every 10 minutes.
My second picture is set to every minute.
Give it a try to test out the PD charging as you will have actual mA/hour figures to compare.
Thanks. Confirmed today that it does do 5V3A but doesn't show as "charging rapidly" using 3C Battery Monitor.
It is about 2.9-3.0A from about 25% until 70%. From 0-25% is about 1.5-1.9A and from 70% onwards it slowly decreased until it reaches 100%.
In total from 17% to 100% took 1h 47 mins. Not exactly fast but acceptable.
With the Warp Charger, it's 0 to 100% in about 1 hour flat. With a Dash Charger, it would be about 1 hour 30.
iPhone XS Max charges 0-100% in 2 hours 20 minutes with a 2.4A adapter
Is there any cheap alternatives for the 27W sonic charger?

And how much it does charge in first 30mins
MI 9 fast charger 27 w on aliexpress $11 shipped. Works and shows 'turbo charging' (it has to show this otherwise its less than 27w and will show fast charging)

Xiaomi offers the qc4 charger for around $4 when you buy the phone in their stores.

seriously ? Like can you specify the charging time?
I mean in 30mins how much it does charge and how much time to get full charged
From 40% to 68% in 30 min
Normal xiaomi charger 66% to 85% in 30 min.
Also the charging icon is different

Charging from higher percentage will always take longer, no matter what charger you use. For an accurate comparison, charge the phone for example from 10% for half an hour with both chargers.
I just tried the Spigen SteadiBoost PD Chargeur USB 27W and it is NOT compatible Turbo Charge, only QuickCharge.
The mi9t pro/ redmi k20 supports qc4.0 look at the website

I bought the last power supply from GC. Very good quality. PD 3.0, fast charging, quick charging etc.
Using MI/ZIMI 1A1C 30W/27W dual charger with Baseus C to C cable. After MIUI 12 update my phone charges in an hour from 0 to 100. Speeds are almost twice that of original charger. Turbo Mode is gimmick, I don't get it on screen but it still charges faster, and faster than 27W turbo mode.
i set my battery limit at 85%
current s22 ultra at 12% , using 25w it shows 41 minutes until full (85%), shows Super Fast Charging
at 12% using 45w charging, it shows 34 minutes until full (85%), showing Super Fast Charging 2.0
so 45w is like 7 minutes faster. spending every less minute count, 7 minutes less.
Do you happen to have the model number for your Samsung 45W Charger that you're using? Also, did it come with a 5A USB C to USB C cable?

This sounds about right. The way the tech inside the s22 ultra works is it lets you 45 watt charge the battery from 0 to 60%. After 60% it slows the charging down and it's not as fast to fill up. That's why you only get 7 to 10 minutes of faster charging with the 45 watt versus the 25 watt.
If you wanted to see much bigger charging speed numbers then Samsung would have to go to something much bigger like say a 60 watts. 25 watts to 45 watts is just not that much of a big difference. But 25 watts to 60 watts or 25 watts to 100 Watts definitely is.
someone should sue Samsung for false advertisement !
my phone is at 34%, i using those USB-C cable with LED watt display, it only showing 31W on my home aftermarket 65w charger, it showing the same 31W on my aftermarket car charger too. unless samsung OEM charger able to charge at full 45w, then it's false advertisement !
someone really need to sue them !
Sue for false advertisement? Haha right. Because it doesn't work with aftermarket chargers, which no company is ever going to say work with their phones anyhow. Until we get a proper test with power meters, a new Samsung charger, and 20V/3A cables we just don't know. We don't know what the YouTubers or anyone else is actually using at this point. The charge voltage to reach 45 Watts seems to have gone up to 20 volts, which might put some cables out of that sort of territory.
