[MAGISK] Debloater for OnePlus Devices Running OOS 11 - OnePlus 7 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Debloats unnecessary services and apps on your OnePlus devices to give moar free ram and improve battery.
Works both on stable and beta and any device running oos11
Use it. If it affects your daily usage, don't.
New apps and services have been added in this version.
No seperate versions. Since most of the 9 series guys are rooted, they be using the oxygen updater app. The default updater keeps running in bg and hence, has been removed.
If someone wants services like OnePlus account or red cable club, go to apk mirror and install it from there. Or can keep using the previous one.
Do not forget to flash Overlay mount fix from magisk repository else, u might end soft-rebooting your device.
If you like what I do, consider buying me a coffee

If u want live walls to be working again after flashing, install the apk given below.

LineageOS bundled with microG

THIS THREAD IS OBSOLETED DUE TO THE SUCCESSOR PROJECT
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/lineageos-microg-t3700997
Hello folks,
aim of this project is to provide a mature rom for android devices bundled with the free google apps implementation microG. For now i just take the latest LineageOS, apply some required patches, add microg and build it afterwards.
I started this project, because i became frustrated, when i wanted to get my phone google free, cause there where so many constraints to fullfil, before microG fully works. - And after an rom update, the half is broken again.
Required steps to make microg work after fresh install:
Install a UnifiedNLP location- and address lookup backend. Search in F-Droid for 'nlp'. I recommend MozillaNlpBackend and NominatimNlpBackend.
Grant signature spoofing permission to 'microG Services Core' and 'FakeStore': Settings -> Apps -> ⚙ (gear) --> App permissions -> Spoof package signature -> 3 dots (tripple colon) -> Show System
Enable Google device registration, Enable Google Cloud Messaging, enable Google Safety Net (if not rooted)
Open microG Settings -> Self-Check -> Tap everything is missing. It might ask you to do some settings.
Some free app substitutions i can recommend (F-Droid):
Google Play Store -> YalpStore
Google Contact Sync -> DAVdroid
Facebook -> SlimSocial for Facebook
Twitter -> SlimSocial for Twitter
YouTube -> NewPipe

Oneplus 5 is cheeseburger. Just download the latest one.
Nice!! I'm downloading it now for my Oneplus One, and I'll post back with my experience after installing it. This will be my first exposure to the microG concept, I've read a lot about it, but never wanted to jump through the hoops to set it up. Now you have made it possible to try out. Thanks much!!
I've just updated the OP to give new microg users first instructions, what is needed to configure in order to make everything work.

Thank you for taking the time to do that, I would have been at a loss as to what to do without those instructions. As I said, I'm a total noob where microG is concerned, but with your ROM, I certainly intend to find out what I've been missing! :good:
Do you compile microG with the ROM (i.e. it is signed by you) or do you copy it into the ROM (i.e. signed the same as on the official download area?
Makes a difference for those who would like to upgrade microG via F-Droid.
Lineage is self signed, while microg apks are taken as they're provided from microg project.
I'm willing to always add the latest prebuilts to my builds, therefore OTA updating should be enough for most users.
I finally got your rom up and running, and I must say I'm impressed! Magisk installed just fine. My custom modded Youtube app is working well. And using the Yalpstore I can access things on Play store just fine! I noticed that one or two apps that were licensed as Pro versions that I restored via Titanium Backup now complain that they want me to purchase a Pro license to give me full access to all features. I'm still digging into that issue.. All in all, this test on my OnePlus One is going just fine, so far...
OK, couple of questions, if you don't mind.. When you put out a daily build, or whenever I choose to update the rom, can I dirty flash safely? Second question is if dirty flash will work, can I safely assume that I don't have to do all the setup tasks you outlined in the OP to get microG up and running? It wasn't all that hard, but as a first timer, I'd say it wasn't the simplest task in the world. hah
I realize that doing a clean install will require me to set up microG again, but I'd rather avoid that if possible??
Was it an in-app payment? I'm not sure, whether this is fully working with the current state of the implementation of google apis. In YalpStore you can logout the default shared account and login using your credentials to install your previously bought application.
Dirty flashing nightlys either via OTA updater app or manual should not be a problem. I was doing so for more than 2 years without any problem. At least as long as you stay within one major version. - F for updating to Oreo i'd strongly recommend to do a clean flash.

I got the Pro issues solved. Logging in with my credentials did the trick, thanks!
That's good news re: dirty flashing, I like that! I doubt that I'll be going to Oreo anytime soon on the OnePlus One. There are a couple of 'test' roms out, but they are far, far away from being a daily driver. I do believe I'll be sticking with yours for the foreseeable future.
Again, I appreciate your hard work and effort spent in providing a rom that can get me un-tetherd from Google, for the most part.
Another question for you. How would I know if a nightly really needs to be flashed without a changelog to refer to? I know that doing a changelog every day is a big ask, but is there anywhere I could at least get an idea of any changes or updates made??
Since i just take upstream lineageos, take a look into their changelog. But since i build daily, also the section "Changes to be included in next build" is likely included in my builds.
For your device it would be: https://download.lineageos.org/bacon/changes/
Great, thanks again!
@Simon94 can you please add oneplus2 to the list?
Thanks!
Edit: forget it, just see you has already done
Good idea. Can you imagine to build for condor or wt88047 as well?
Good to see kenzo in the list... Surely I'll give a try... Alao i would like to ask, that will microg break any stuffs of hangout nd google duo....?
Is it possible to cover the Moto E4 snapdragon variant?

[ROM][OneUI][Pie][MAGISK][SM-J600G/F]Stock OneUI for J6

Stock OneUI Release for J6
So, a couple of days ago OneUI was released for the SM-J600F. I simply took the ROM and made it flashable via ZIP
This is JUST STOCK ONEUI """OFFICIAL""" for the J6, DO NOT EXPECT EXTRA FEATURES!
Also, I debloated it lol
BUT
I want to make something clear. If you have not read this and this allow me to summarize
Pie brings new locks to the table, something far worse than rmm lock. If you flash Pie officially, either via OTA or via Odin, these new locks will prevent you from rooting, as I understand it.
The workaround is to flash Pie but with Oreo BL.
BUT
We don't know how long that will keep working
Samsung can easily make Pie only boot with Pie BL.
So... for now... DO NOT UPLOAD YOUR BOOTLOADER TO PIE YET OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ROOT OR FLASH CUSTOM BINARY ANYMORE!
And this is where this zip comes in handy!
This ZIP will not change your BL (it will keep your Oreo BL) and included is a kernel (Helios Pie kernel) that fixes small issues. Also, if anything were to go wrong, you still have TWRP to backup and restore, how awesome is that?
So, you have been warned!

(I'll try to upload to GDrive and AFH soon, I promise)
Instructions:
-Create a backup (just in case)
-Wipe system and data
-Flash zip
-Reboot and wait 10 minutes
If after 10 minutes, it is still in logo, force a reboot (Hold VOL +, VOL - and POWER) and then the ROM will work
"Features":
-Official Pie!
-In theory, should not have major bugs
-Pre-rooted with Magisk
-Debloated
If you appreciate having Pie early (and rooted!) please consider a donation to ananjaser1211, who was kind enough to compile Helios Pie kernel without even having the device!!!

FAQ
[Q] My phone is stuck in bootloop/infinite boot, what should I do?
[A] It is normal for first instalation to take aprox 10-20 minutes on first boot, let it sit for a little bit
[Q] Even after 20 minutes, my phone is still in a bootloop/infinite boot, what can I do?
[A] It is possible that your previoius Android setup is conflicting with this new setup. Please, do the following:
1. FORMAT DATA (not WIPE, FORMAT!)
2. Try the instalation of the ROM again
[Q] I've found a bug, what should I do
[A] Please read the "Bugs" section of the thread to see if your bug has been reported, if it hasn't, please let me know exactly what the problem is so I can take a look
[Q] My phone isn't rooted
[A] This ROM has Magisk pre-packaged. If you do not see Magisk Manager, just download the latest version of it in xda
[Q] Something bothers me and I want it fixed/changed
[A] Please, kindly make a request and if it's within my grasp, I'll try to fix it. Just, don't be rude and demand something. Either that or return to stock, your choice

How to report a bug/Ask for a change
Over the small amount of time I've been doing my edits and shared them with the community, I've noticed something that seems to irritate me. I can't speak for all the developers on this forum, but I do edits/ROMs/PORTs/etc... to what I like. I don't work for anybody else but me. I share my work because it may have something of value to other people and/or some people may share the same taste as me on regards to what they want on a ROM.
That being said, that doesn't mean I will completely ignore what the community has to say.
First and foremost, it must be said, I am merely a beginner. I do not claim to be a professional developer that knows how to add everything, I am nowhere close and I learn as I go.
There are ways to ask for something and/or report a bug when it comes to ROMs, and this post is my attempt to try to explain how to (and how not to) report a bug in order to help me out as much as possible to try to fix something
You can also ask for something to be added, but there are also ways to ask for something
So, here we go
Keep in mind:
I do not add stuff that can easily be downloaded from the Playstore
I, myself, don't do kernel edits
I COULD remove stuff if NOBODY uses it
---REPORTING BUGS---
How NOT to report a bug:
"SystemUI (or any app)is crashing, please help!"
"Instagram doesn't allow me to edit my post, what could be wrong?"
"My bank account app is not letting me do such thing"
These posts are sort of pointless as they only state something but I have no context on what could be causing it. Also, I can't really control (for the most part) third-party apps, so if you're going to ask about them this way, don't even bother
A slightly better way to report a bug:
"I clean installed the ROM and was working fine, after I installed Facebook and logged in, I immediately uploaded a photo and SystemUI started to crash. Can you look in to it?"
"I tried to install Black Neon theme (a link to it would work as well) and it was working fine until I tried to activate AOD (or anything else for some reason) and SystemUI (or any other app) is crashing, could you look in to it?"
"My bank account app doesn't let me take a screenshot of my accounts. I get a toast notification saying "Can't take screenshot due to security policy"
As you can see, this provides a bit more context and explanation on your current situation. This gives me a little more detail on trying to replicate the problem and hopefully could fix it by replicating it. Well, except for point #3 which is out of my hands for the most part (I think). If you include what kernel you're using would make everything better! Also any significant change that would require root (like xposed and or anything that modifies /system also needs to be informed for better results)
The BEST way to report a bug:
LOGCAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please learn the ins and outs of a logcat, this really helps a lot on finding what the problem is. Also, please give a brief explanation as the above examples when providing a log cat
---ASKING FOR STUFF TO BE ADDED---
How NOT to ask for stuff:
On your next update, add iris scanner
You should add (app) on your next update
Hey, please add (app or feature) on your next update
No, I do not work for you. Even if you say please like the third example, that doesn't mean you're being polite. It still sounds like an order lol so you should probably rephrase your request.
How to ask for stuff to be added to my work:
Would you be so kind to add (feature) to your ROM, if possible?
Would it be possible to add this app to your ROM?
Please, can you add (feature) to your ROM, if it isn't much to ask?
See how politeness makes everything better? You're not demanding it, you're just politely asking to see if maybe it is within my grasp to add something. And if all request would be like this, I can assure you I'd try my best to add said feature
I hope this is useful to you or I at least hope that some people read it.
If not, I can just tell you to return to stock ROM, probably better than any ROM I put out anyway
Enjoy Pie
Yes its working
You should tell that vendor will be also replaced.

battery drains faster then stock oreo rom ? do you find any other bug ? camera works good ? can you check please if camera is flickering while taking photo to computer monitor or tv ?
Battery takes about 2 cycles to stabilize. My first testers and me did notice higher than normal drain but then reduced the drain a lot.

Hello Everyone.
I was wondering of there was a good magisk module or flashable zip or list of google based applications I can freeze / remove on this phone.
I have manually done it as best I can in the past before using / Lineage OS / Havoc Rom / AOSIP ROM Etc but there are too many bugs and I want to maintain as much stock functionality like Cameras / GPS etc (My two main issues).
Is there a Stock ROM without any google apps / services or good way to disable or remove them?
Any good guides to remove them / freeze them if not.
Thank you!

Personally I'd recommend staying on oos and using xxnolimits and edit the profile, let's you do a very thorough debloat and you can pick what you want to remain.

Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 upgrade

Good evening,
I restarted my old Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 after a long time. However, it is now slow and I can no longer install recent apps. I like the apps I like to use are Onedrive, Word, Outlook.. Which software should I upgrade the tablet to, so that I can use Onedrive, Word apps?
I have read up a bit but otherwise I am a layman.. Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance.

Androd 6 is the best option. But reccently there is an android 8 rom developed for tab 2. I myself haven't tried it but you can have a look at the thread here.
These are some best roms:
Resurrection remix : https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...FjAAegQICBAC&usg=AOvVaw1PxtYepshuVJGhwILyAok1
This is the best as per my experience. Its Android 6 and also fast. It is fastest without gapps and I'll recommend don't install them since Microsft apps work without play services.
Lineage os 13 : https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...FjABegQIAxAC&usg=AOvVaw0ngVERkcUHwdW6OdL7FTx8
This is another great one and works well. Again, with gapps it's slow (and mostly all roms are). Its an Android 6 rom.
Slimrom 4.4 : https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...FjAAegQIAxAC&usg=AOvVaw1pIY6ZrmjDiXzCAxuW-p9R
To be honest, this rom would have been the first in my list but it isn't because it's kitkat (android 4.4.4) and that means less apps support. It is faster than android 6 roms and also stable.
Last suggestion : don't go for android 7 roms. Without gapps they are as slow as android 6 roms with gapps.
If we install without gapps whats the best way to get apps like Facebook and youtube if we don't have playstore?
Idk if facebook needs gapps or not, but normal youtube will not work without them, there's things like microg and vanced.
Use aurora store to get apps from google play store without gapps.
Simple and easy all you need is fdroid store and you'll find all apps you need there including youtube apps like newpipe, libretube, etc..
Start exploring life without gapps, it's less stressful for your device and your life
can you have the stoke rom of samsung galxy tab 2 10.1 like icechream sandwhich

Good night
I know this forum is old and this topic will be somewhat forgotten, but after some hard work and tinkering that I have put into these teams, I decided to share my experiences and recommendations for their devices.
To begin with, in recent times all computers with versions prior to 6.0 and all those related to Marshmallow are becoming obsolete, adding versions such as Dhollmen, RRemix or Cyanogenmod 13, which although remarkably stable, many programs have already lost their compatibility, but very soon i found a solution for these problems.
Inquiring in the Microg forums there is talk of a native Spofing support for Omniroms, and with this in mind I decided to try the latest version of Nougat to see what result can be achieved, and since then I continue using this system that has given me so far good results.
for all devices (P31XX and P51XX) I use Anykernel created by Android-Andi: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/kernel-unified-anykernel.3484739/page-11#post-79313152
Link of the Omniroms build forums (choose your corresponding model):

Download GApps, Roms, Kernels, Themes, Firmware, and more. Free file hosting for all Android developers.
androidfilehost.com
And for great performance use Nanodroid Microg:
Nanolx.org Downloads Archive
I flash this and at boot up active from "microg settings" all the boxes are empty.
So far for those who read it, leave your comments, finally I only have a problem that is when trying to put full screen on YouTube, which until now I have not found a solution but I can live with it.

IN2013 - latest update just killed my phone, should I downgrade or use a custom rom?

Hey~
So its been a while since I've updated my device to android 12, build number IN2013_11_C.16
and its just buggy in basically any aspect, making the phone very annoying to use
When I was on android 11, the phone was perfect and everything worked fine.
What would be the best approach? I use banking apps and Gpay daily in my everyday life so its very important
Rolling back to android 11 - if that's possible (?) would be my best option original rom will keep the google pay and banking apps working right>?
If rolling back to previous firmware is not possible then
Using a custom rom with Gapps could work? - I think I've seen somewhere lineage os with Gmicro apps, will it work with Gpay since its not an "original" rom ?
Really appreciate the help guys, its been a few years since I've played with phones firmware and as I can see stuff' changed.
If you've never flashed a custom ROM, I would recommend you just roll back to Android 11.
Luckily, Oneplus offers an official package that let's you downgrade back to Android 11 from C.16.
THIS is the official Oneplus thread for the C.16 update. On that page, there is a .zip package you can install to rollback to Android 11. The page also includes pretty detailed instructions, pretty easy to follow.
On that forum post, look for the section "Rollback guide—via Local OTA update"
If you want to try a custom ROM though, I recommend HavocOS for Android 11, or Nameless AOSP for Android 12. Those are the best ROMs in their respective category in my opinion. AICP also looks promising it needs a few fixes but I believe in our savior semdoc
