my device poco x3(miui 12.0.2 android 11) by using adb. And I uninstalled few system apps like Mi pay, downloads, get apps and few more and it worked perfectly.
“But from yesterday mi music started crashing , it feels like am using an unsupported apk . This is so anointing coz u can't play download songs in file manager so u have to play it on that stupid mi music app which crashes every time."
and I tried everything like clear catch, data, reboot, reinstall, updated
so please tell me solution if u know or should i remove mi music by using adb
If the system is working as you want, you could just use another player app -- there's no shortage of them around.

I'm running the 2.6.3 OTA rooted, and everytime I try to sync or stream from Google Music, it FC. I tried clearing the data, unfreezing everything, reinstalling updates and resyncing, syncing over WiFi on the first sync, and it still FC.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem on the MB865, and is there any solution?
Thanks!
Don't use the version from the motorola update.
Try another apk from a newer version.
I was using google music before the OTA update and was fine. After the update stopped working (version 3.something). Reinstalled the previous verions (4.something) and everything works as expected.
I tried uninstalling music from ROM Manager and then installing the Music 4.0.9 APK, and it still force-closes on streaming.

Go to the Android Market, then go to my apps. Google Music should be under "not installed"... click on it and then press the "Update" button. ROM Manager would not conflict with Google Music.
See if that helps it.
Okay, I did all this, and it's still FC. Are there any third-party apps that anyone knows of that can stream from Google Music?
I have downloaded mx player from play store but will not install keep getting Error Code 8. Anyone any ideas how fix this problem. Thank you.

Have you tried clearing playstore data and rebooting? Also make sure you have sufficient storage left on android data partation.

Hmm, nothing in particular comes to mind, but I did find this related Google forum thread: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/calendar/GzAJgihvQpo
That and, wat warvevo said.
I've been hunting around for answers since I've been getting this same Google Play -8 error since I reinstalled my ROM. Previously, I'd had MX and MX Pro both installed - great for playing music behind podcasts and audiobooks using the multiple instances! Now when I have one installed, Google Play goes to install the other and throws this code. As the workaround seems to be to install an older version first and then let Google Play auto-update it - which is what happened before, I'd installed the then-current MX version which Google Play later updated automatically - it would seem that the new MX Player updates are having difficulty avoiding conflict with MX Pro. I can only seem to get one or the other installed at a time.
That's exactly what I found. Had both players installed and suddenly had problems even though they had been working fine in the past. Deleted one of players and then it worked fine. Thank you for your reply.
Hello, I have a problem: I have a huawei phone with android version 4.1.2 (there is no custom rom to upgrade it) and when I play some video with vlc 2.0.6 (shown as "dark widget" in task manager), the phone becomes slower even once the video is closed, which makes even the browser annoying to use. It is very likely caused by vlc that is still opened and using 59.8% of the cpu and no task managers are able to kill it so I'm forced to reboot the phone every time and actually if I don't the phone itself will instantly reboot after a few minutes.
So I'm open to any way to solve this, an actual way to kill it, another player that wouldn't have this issue or an updated version of vlc that doesn't have this issue but still works on android 4.1.2. If I need to download something, please give me a link to the apk directly, as I also have the issue with google play that shows "your device is not compatible with this item" for whatever app I try to download, which I don't mind since I very rarely download any new app and it seems to be hard to solve this.
I think you should try installing *mx video player* instead of vlc.

Thank you, it takes a bit longer to open but it doesn't have the problem which also caused the phone to heat a lot, using battery and phone for nothing.
I'm having issues where the Gallery app doesn't instantly detect media from 3rd party apps (such as gcam, snaptube..) I'll have to restart my phone for the new media to show up
I can see the media in the File Explorer
Media from Camera, whatsapp, Facebook are showing up
I was using the Sony album on Android 9, but stopped working after I upgraded to Android 10
Any fix?
Sony album not working on any Mobile running Android 10 ?
I too have the same issue
When we open file manager it shows nothing in internal storage....will OnePlus next update clear this?? These things work fine after reboot
hey guys,
I can´t start spotify. it shows the spotify logo and then it stucks on a black screen. I got the .apk from APKPure. On the Amazon Appstore I also can´t find spotify over the P40 Lite amazon app.
I don´t care about all the google apps, but I need spotify. You have any idea?
FIXED: just install the spotify lite app, login and then run the normal spotify app. Worked for me
bests regards

Not sure about P40 Lite, but on my P40 I can install Spotify via Petal Search (the source is also from APKPure). I can launch Spotify until the Log In page without any problem.
I didn't try logging in as I don't have Spotify account and I'm not using it at all.
Alternatively if you still have your old Android phone with you, use Phone Clone to clone Spotify over to your P40 Lite.
Good luck!

I just downloaded the spotify lite app. this one worked. I logged into my account. Then I installed the normal spotify app and it also worked.
