Hi all,
Truecaller was first posted on XDA forums back in 2008 and now it's the 3rd biggest app in India, as well as having of 250 million users worldwide.
I work for Truecaller and I'm trying to find people from the XDA forum way back in 2008 and 2009 to find out what they thought of Truecaller back then.
Please reply here or I can be also contacted at my truecaller email address if you want to PM me.
thanks!
Themba

Dear all,
I am writing today as I don't see an other way to go about this:
On November the 15th, I bought a copy of ActivePrint (www.activeprint.net) right from the developer's website. I paid by Credit Card and the money was sent to the developer.
I never received a registration code for the software, though. Up to now I sent surely ten e-mails and webform requests to the developer but didn't get any reaction whatsoever.
What really made me angry now, was to see that he's now offering everyone buying the software from his webshop a 2gb sd card until christmas. Well, I'm really wondering...
What are your experiences? Did you buy the software and receive a registration code right away?
Cheers,
Bengt
(and sorry for being so silent otherwise... I really appreciate xda-developers and the people here. Keep up the great work! Merry Christmas to all!)
Just for your information, I received a registration code yesterday after I sent a letter.
So there was something wrong with your email address ?
Well, now I'll have to try and find that out. He maybe didn't get my e-mails (but everyone else did)...
I emailed asus last week registering my interest in the keyboard dock offer and having no reply I was wondering if anyone had received a response from them acknowledging their interest?
Sent with a tin can and a piece of string using XDA App
I sent my email off around the 21st April and had a reply with an invoice within around 3 hours.
Was this in regards to buyin the dock/keyboard form them seperately?

Yes it was, however since posting this morning another thread has cropped up explaining that there was a backlog in replying to emails.
What sort of price did they quote on the invoice, and what email did u use to contact them thanks.
I had a mail today saying mine should be sent out next week. It was in response to a mail from me saying I'd paid but hadn't heard anything back (I sent it about 2 weeks ago, so they must be very busy!)
I had an email today with an invoice (replying to my email sent on 18/04)
Problem I have now is i need to pay from my business account and i dont have internet or phone banking on my business account.
So i guess i need to send a cheque unless anyone has a phone number for ASUS payments ?
Has anyone not in attendance at I/O or an owner of a Xoom received an invite?
I signed up for one just before the announcement, but haven't received an email yet.
Saw some xoom owners that received invitations.

So I'll take that as a no :/, I'm dieing for my invite, but no one seems to be getting them. I think that this may be a hugee feature for android phones.
Had a invite early this week still nothing yet.
Google music beta is available on Android apps section

I know things have changed since back in the day, but does this now mean XDA-Developers in now fully legit?
There is no way this is real.

That's really funny. But seriously the website does have so many well written tutorials.

It does not surprise me really
We have been always a reference, since 2003
it just shows how poor their capability of handling customer concerns.
thumps up for xda though for being able to provide what we need.

Real enough that it prompted me to post for the first time in about 3 years.
The ultimate sign of respect haha.

So I am not sure if this is the place to do this, but I have ran out of options. Racing19969 own and operates the above business. I contacted him for JTAG service, and he said go for it. I placed my order via his website on the 21st of April, and sent my Samsung Skyrocket to him on the 22nd. As of today, I have had no contact with him. On May 1st, his website (Cell-Dr.com) went down, and he started FIXMYBRICK.BIZ. I tried both sites. I have messaged him here on XDA, Facebook, Google+, email, and I tried to call him at the number Google Wallet provided to me. I still have not heard anything.
I am writing this in hope that it will get his attention, and he will contact me. It has been a month since the charge went through my bank, and I don't have my phone, repaired or not. I have no idea where it is. If anyone knows a better way to deal with this, please let me know. Thanks everyone.
John
So does anyone have a suggestion? Here it is June 3rd, and still no word what so ever.

Just to give everyone an update. Google wallet is refunding my purchase. As for my phone, it is still with Randy Hasson. If anyone know how to contact him, let me know.
