hi guys,
i make a back up from a50 and all data using to new m30s (i recover all whatsap data in to new m30s its around 21GB) after few weeks suddenly i lost all whets app data without any action.
i check internal memory, there is no 21gb data instead of that one day chat details only.
any one can help to recover that 21gb folder
i dont have any tech knowledge (my English also not good sorry for that also)
In such situation, first stop using your phone in case of data overwritten if there is no backup of the lost whatsapp data. Of course, if there is a backup of the lost data on Google Drive Backup, you can recover them from backup easily. I no, try Whatsapp recovery tool or Undeleter App, they can both help you recover lost whatsapp data before they are overwritten by new data. Hope this will be your help.

Hi All,
I recently flashed my At&t HTC One X with cygnamod 10.2 and it working fine. I took backup of my data via copying whole usb drive to computer as well as Nandroid backup. In earlier Anroid (AT&T - 4.1.1) there was notes app which is not there in cygnamod. I had some data on that app. Is there a way to restore that apps data?
Regards,
Vijay
From my experience, there is no way to restore the notes app data even if you restore everything. It will restore, but when you try to look at the notes it just says the notes are damaged and unrecoverable. It could just be a problem on my end though.
If the app is missing then there's no way to access the data, you need the app.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize what he meant by that.
It was htc notes.I was able to find data on whole usb backup but it is up to Oct. I guess I have lost new data.
Regards,
Vijay
The problem with apps like HTC Notes is that they save the data in a proprietary format, which means you can only open the data using that app.

It depends on the method you used to delete the data, but generally speaking, unless you made a Nandroid backup before you deleted all the information (which, if you did, I bet you'd already have restored it), you cannot restore the deleted data.
Sorry about that.
Post thank?
you can restore music and pictures with help of app called root undelete ( you require root )
else you can connect your memory card with card reader and try to undelete your stuff by EaseUS Data Recovery 7.5

i have never used this before, but according to the pics, you can restore apps and data out of the nandroid. maybe you can put the backup on your new phone, then do that to get to the data you want.
other than that, im not sure what to try. i know you can dissect the nandroid on a pc, but i dont know if any of the data will be in a format you can directly recover things from.
So this is quite a hard question before trying it myself.
I would like to move from phone but don`t want the hassel of reinstalling all apps ect, I have currently rooted my device and plan on rooting my next one.
My question: Can I backup phone 1 then restore the backup on phone 2? (not same model)
And will all settings and configs like whatsapp ect be the same?

Use Google to backup your photos, videos and contacts.
Try helium for your apps and app data.
Use something like SMS backup to backup text messages there is also a way to backup and restore text messages via Google.
But, you will only be able to backup and restore user data and data partition, you will not be able to do this with any of your system apps or system app data or system data or system settings, these will not restore and work properly on the new device.

Is iPhone data recovery possible without a backup? I have accidentally deleted some photos and text messages from my iPhone and these are files very important for me. Is there have available any possible method to get back lost data?
Hi, nice to meet you. Usually, if the accidentally deleted some photos and text messages from your iPhone are not overwritten by new data, pro iPhone data recovery tool can help us get them back. But in case of that, you need to take backup of your iPhone. Then you can recover deleted or lost data from backup files easily.
One of the useful options is to have a iPhone data recovery tool. It is one of the convenient methods that solve the problem. Data recovery software can help to extract the deleted data from your phone.
