Unbrick Snapdragon mobiles

Everyone finds how to unbrick snapdragon androids. If your Android detects in HS-USB QDLoader 9008 mode then you can unbrick you Android.
There is tool to unbrick snapdragon Android. You found on Google Android dbrick tool. But the actual name of the tool is Tool Studio.
Right click Toolstudio.exe and run as administrator, put the password. Click the green refresh icon and Tool Studio will see the Qualcomm 9008 port, if not unplug the usb cable and plug in again, click refresh.
Click “Browse” and select your rom’s folder. Now click on “Advanced” and see all files are selected or not. Then click on start. It will flashed ROM under 2 minutes.

Hi! I have done many ports in order to make TWRP work on this device although it doesn't work to it's full potential as it doesn't read the internal or external memory/partitions unless you format it. I'm also leaving the stock zip file and stock SP flashable zip file along with the scatter file so you can thinker around it. I have tried my best and this is the best I've come to for now. I tried porting custom roms but unfortunately to no avail I was left with no choice but to give out. If there's anyone that would like to fix the TWRP recovery or compile it to this device then feel free to conatct me The phone hangs at Alcatel Powered by Android boot screen and does nothing when eg flashing the stock zip or any custom rom I tried to test.​

I would like to say thanks to all the developers that I've ported their recoveries and best of all luck to all the XDA members trying to at least have android 7.1 o this phone. Keep in mind that this is the Alcatel U5 4G model and not the 3G model. The 5044 model and not the 4074 model. WIsh ye all luck :good:

You can root this device without a custom recovery, if you get stock rom
You can take boot.img from the rom, use magisk manager to patch it, then flash the patched_boot.img to the device using SP tools

Install vcom drivers, and extract sp tools.
Then take boot.img from stock rom and magisk manager apk and copy them to the device
Install magisk manager, then open it and click install, pick the patch boot image option. Direct it to the boot.img you copied to the device, this process will generate a patched_boot.img file, located in the download folder (I think, I cant 100% remember but i think its in download, if not look in top level of internal storage, and magisk manager folder)
Copy the patched_boot.img back to your computer, put it in the same folder as the stock rom (ie where you found the boot.img file you copied to the device)
Load up SP tools and load the android_scatter file from the stock rom, uncheck all boxes except boot, click the location field for boot and load the patched_boot.img you generated with magisk manager.
Remove the battery from your device and then reinsert,
plug usb cable into the computer but not your device
Click download on SP tools
While holing vol down plug the cable into your device, keep holding vol down till the bar across the bottom on SP tools goes yellow. When the flashing process is complete a box will come up saying download ok, you may now unplug your device and turn it on.
If you now load up magisk manager it should say magisk is installed and you will have root

Hi my friend, in first place thanks for your help and your time.
With your help i am happy with my rooted Alcatel U5 5044A. It is an after and before...
But was a nightmare, hehe.
I do everything step by step, and i rooted the phone but it was on sim lock screen and without chances of repair that.
After search, and try everything what i see, because of causality i download a firmware for the 5044D model and flash every again (with my modified boot.img) but using 2 parts of the 5044D firmare (simlock and secro).
Maybe i have an alien now, but with some magisk patches this phone is really very good for daily usage.
I am an iOS user on all my devices, and of course i jailbreak all them.
But that was a very cool adventure and now i get a very premium Alcatel U5 with:
- GPU Turbo Boost.
- Low-Ram Config+ for Magisk.
- S9 Emoji for Magisk (with Gboard).
- YouTube Vanced.

I lost my IMEI again when flashing as firmware upgrade from stock to Mad 7.1. It all began when I had a no sim card issue and I wrongly did a "format and download" Anyway, the phone works okay on stock after manually adding IMEI. My question is
1. Can I flash IMEI after I do a fresh install of MAD 8.1 with a TWRP recovery using SN write tool? ( I'm almost sure I'll lose my IMEI even if I'm on firmware upgrade mode)
2. You suggested earlier about doing a clean install of MAD 8.1 as stock. Is there a scatter file for that in the Apollo_lite_All zip? I didn't proceed as I wanted to know if I could flash IMEI after I do flash TWRP recovery.

I do not know exactly what file it is and for which device is (in your Link)
In Apollo Lite All zip if you extract the file, inside included and the stock rom...If you extract stock rom will find "scatter" BUT ! STOCK ROM SCATTER !!
(scatter of mados 8.1 included on mados 8.1 zip if you extract this)

The stock OS my phone came with has corrupted itself. It gets to the android screen then resets. Im trying to reinstall the stock OS using SP flash tool but when I select the scatter.txt file i get "Error scatter file invalid". Im using the ROM file from Vernee's website.
Any help??

The problem maybe is in File

Unfortunately doesn't support MT6797 (you can not use it anymore to backup MT67xx chipsets)
did you install VCOM drivers and android CDC drivers? So,you can try with some other tool , depending on what you want to do...
Read in OP, there are many different tools...

The official website downloads and the ones uploaded here saying "stock" full_k15tb_a-ota-1508410813 etc are OTAs and the scatter files on these don't load on SP flash tools.
Look for these file types. They have a good scatter file. You won't get the errors!

spft error 00xc0050003 is a matter of poorly installed drivers,maybe an old version SPFT etc...
the files in the OP works properly and I have used hundreds of times - by me and other users (scatter that contained in the file works fine)

Unfortunately, they didn't work for me. Which is why I replied to another persons query. The error message I got was invalid scatter file. Upon opening the scatter file in a text editor as well looked different. None of the links in the OP had a working scatter file for me. At the same tine both mad os 7.x and 8.x scatter files always worked.
I'm my opinion its more helpful to specify one SP flash version that works with one zip. Neither the Vernee Apollo Lite Pack All zip version, nor the one on the website worked for me. Windows 10, Nov update. Fresh Windows OS installs, VCom drivers etc. I've ruled out all of those along with random SP flash tool versions.
I just wanted to say, if you get an invalid scatter file error, perhaps worth trying what i suggested as well. It works well for me. Ever since my IMEI got wiped going back to stock is very often a routine, maybe not 100 times but many times.

How to Flash OnePlus 7:
1- Install Qualcomm Driver.

3- Use both Volume as boot key.
4- Run MSM Download tool.
5- Click on verify, if it display message ok then you are ready to go.
6- Click on start to Flash.
7- Download Progress will be displayed.
8- When completed, Download complete will be displayed.
- Keep in mind that this tool fixes your device, but you put HidrogenOS, once it starts, you can put OOS for local improvement or Fastboot.

Add platform tools to PATH (post 2)​
Make a backup of anything important
Sign out of all Google accounts on device
Open settings -> accounts​Tap the google email address​Tap "Remove account"​
Reboot into bootloader
Connect the phone to the computer​You must use the side USB port​
From the system (usb debugging enabled):​adb reboot bootloader​
OR​
Boot the phone with volume up + power​
Use a 64-bit OS to flash the raw firmware
Open a command or terminal window​"cd" to the extracted firmware folder​Execute the flash_raw/all for your OS​
I recommend using Windows to flash the firmware. If you have Mac, using a Windows image in VMWare also works. This will NOT lock your bootloader.
Those looking to convert between CN and WW firmware:

It is recommended that platform tools is extracted to the root directory (C:\) on Windows or the home folder (~/) on Mac / Linux. Replace PLATFORM_TOOLS_FOLDER with the full path below.
Adding platform tools to PATH (Windows courtesy of LifeHacker):
Open the Start menu and search for “advanced system settings.”
Click “View advanced system settings.”
Click the box that says “Environment Variables.”
Under “System variables” click on the variable named “Path”.
Click “Edit...”
(Windows 7,8): Add ;[PLATFORM_TOOLS_FOLDER] to the end of the “Variable value” box. Do not forget the semicolon.
(Windows 10): Click “New” and paste the folder path where you extracted the Platform Tools. Hit Enter and click OK.

Can I go from WW to CN w/o unlocking the BL?
My tencent edition ROG5 with WW f/w denied me unlocked BL when tried with official unlocking app.
I want to try my luck on CN f/w for one last time.
Much appreciate your hard work for our cursed edition device..

Unless the reason the app didn't work is that it is already unlocked, it may fail.

Guese I don't have any options left other than waiting for the EDL f/w to become available, do I?

The EDL firmware is linked in the first post.
I should stick to calling it raw firmware for clarity.

OK, I'm a bit confused. Help me out here please.
The EDL f/w you are talking about is missing some key files & thus non-functional.
Since my device was unlocked once & then re-locked, the official unlocking app is non-functional as well.
Is there any way, other than paying some random foreigners, to unlock the BL?

You are looking to flash the bootloader in EDL mode, since you can't replace the bootloader in the bootloader itself. The raw firmware does not include the firehose file required to use QPST. This is the firmware you use in EDL mode after recovering from a hard brick.
I haven't checked if the bootloader in included in the raw firmware, but since a small portion of the flash requires userspace fastboot, I would assume it is quite possible

If you encountered following error while executing flashall_aft, make sure check your fastboot install --> post 2.

Updates will be the same as having an unlocked bootloader. Move it to /sdcard/ and reboot.
No video guides. It is harder to copy text shown in a video than from the text itself.

I am aware some of the original links have "expired" (or been removed by the original owners). Fortunately, I made sure to download all but one of the firmware locally and will be uploading them to AndroidFileHost to avoid them getting lost again.
