Issue going automatically in vibration mode during/after a call... - OnePlus Nord Questions & Answers

Hello everyone,
after (I think) last rom update on my AC2003 12/256GB (now I'm to Oxygen OS 11.1.4.4.AC01BA) I noticed that often the smartphone goes automatically in vibration mode, EVEN in the slide switch is kept in ringtone mode (first lowe position).. so several time, when it happes before to answering a call, I cannot hear any sound due to this behaviour..
Anyone had some experience in this issue? And there's a way to fix without coming back to an old rom version as well?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT:
It was a buggy version of Truecaller app causing the issue, after an update, now all is working properly again.

My phone keeps switching to vibrate by itself

Hi all..
My phone started to switching its sound profile to vibrate. it doesn't happen that often but it is still annoying specially cause I don't keep the device on me while I'm indoor cause of the size.
I read that Google Now Launcher can cause this so I disabled it but the issue persists. I'm wondering if anyone had this problem their GP2.
Also, Is there like a shortcut that flips between the sound profiles that I might be doing unknowingly?
My device is d838 stock rom and rooted.
Thanks in advance

Phone vibrates only once on incoming call (Android L)

Hello,
Anyone else experienced this?
When receiving a call, my phone only vibrates once. Ringtone is still there. I'm using LG's QuickCover for Nexus 5.
Is there a way to solve this?
Same here. It's horrible because the phone only vibrates one...
NEXUS % - ANDROID L
I have quick cover too. I was trying call without this cover and vibrate was working. When I closed the phone, vibrate worked as you described...
So it's a bug with the OFFICIAL cover?! I have receiver OTA yesterday and i discover that bug, the battery drains quickly and the lockscreen created by user preferences just disappeared as the silent mode... Common Google what is this?! Please fix that!
Yes, official cover.. Its a pity.. I really do miss a lot of calls because of that bug..

I hope Google fix that mess...
Same thing here, but for me it only occurs sometimes.
Noticed it the first time today after flashing the factory image from release day.
Also with the quick cover...
Same problem for me
I'm having the same problem with my Nexus 5 w/quick cover. With the cover on, my phone will only vibrate once for incoming calls when set to vibrate. If I remove the cover the phone will continue to vibrate when receiving an incoming call. GOOGLE, PLEASE FIX THIS BUG.!

Hi guys. Could this be your problem? I was having same issue too.
Search on YouTube: My Google Nexus 5 is Not Vibrating - HOW TO FIX IT
Problem still not fixed after 5.1 update
Issue still in 5.1.1
Installed smart vibtrator and that seems to work..
Short vibrate with LG Quick Cover
I've created this tool to fix the issue on my nexus 5:

[Q] Weird bug on 5.0 / 5.1 /CM

Hi,
Sorry for the lack of information, but i wanted to know if anybody faced this issue:
While locked, an incoming call cannot be picked up (it vibrates but screen don't wake up). A reboot make it works for a little while.
Happening on different version, and with a fresh clean install.
Let me know !:good:

Oreo Update, speaker weirdness?

Hello all,
There is a consistent issue that i have been dealing with ever sense the Oreo update rolled out that I have not been able to find a solution for. At times ( watching a Youtube video/ listening to music from Spotify) media audio would begin playing from the phone as if it was ring/ notification audio. All sounds coming from the phone would get cut back in volume by a significant amount and the bottom speaker stops firing completely.
This only seems to happen once I interact with the app after starting to play the video/song (i.e i go to pause a video/ advance 10 seconds). From that point I would need to leave the app and come back for the audio to go back to normal.
As well I have been having audio video sync issues with the Youtube app that I have never dealt with before, related?
I have the US duel sim variant
I am on build number 47.1.A.5.51 , November security patch
I have tested with all audio settings on/off ( EQ, S-Force,ClearAudio+,normalizer)
I have checked the service test menu and everything is shown as calibrated.
Restarted the phone, cleared various caches for apps
I really am at a loss here, anyone else having these issues? Any possible causes/ solutions?
I had that issue on the first version of oreo... I found the latest oreo update fixed it. Maybe uninstall youtube app and reinstall again?
Were you able to fix this issue?
I have the same problem but for me it happens on all applications.
Mate 20 Pro on EMUI 10, although the issue was also there on EMUI 9
Hi all,
I have what seems to be the same issue but in Android 9 PIE, & latest build 47.2.A.10.107.
I didn´t had this issue in my Xperia XZ Premium G8141 (single SIM) , now it happens after switching to a Xperia XZ Premium G8142 (same phone, but dual SIM, same as you have).
In my case I get around opening volume controls and moving the ring and notification volume (with its slider) for some amount back and forth.
Y don´t use youtube so much (in the phone screen) then I cannot tell if it happens with youtube, but does happen in Spotify and it is very annoying to have to correct every now and then.
Then, same phone, completely different Android version, hardware problem?
Will appreciate any hints or troubleshooting tips from you guys.
When I have some time I will take a look to the kernel messages cable-connecting the phone for USB-debug.
Thanks in advance,
Take care,
Alvaro

Vibration issue, stopped working

Hi Everyone,
I'd like to say hello to the community, i'm new guy here
Either i couldn't find the answer or maybe i'm just blind (might be the second one) but i don't see the fix for vibration issue i have faced.
Once the phone is restarted or just turned on i can feel the vibration while it starts.
However when turn on the silent mode it's not there, heptic mode either.
Of course i went through all the options in menu, it's turned on.
I also followed a tip found somewhere and changed the stock ringtone to a custom one but it didn't help.
Any ideas? it doesn't look like a hardware issue (it works during the start of the phone)
Thanks!
MIUI 13.0.02
Is it mine only?
Anyone?
