I had the same problem with Play Store not being able to update certain applications are not downloading applications at all. I think it's system related and I don't really know what you can do about it but did you try reinstalling Play Store from ApkMirror?

Be very careful with that since you could lose applications you have moved to SD. That's a problem I had once.

[Q] Low disk space while I have plenty of it?

Hi all,
My desire S with SabsaPrime 10.0 can't update apps anymore. It can install, but not update.
Updater says low disk space for almost every app I try. But I have 140 mb of internal memory available... What's going on and how can I fix this?
Thank you

That always works. But do I have to do this for every app I have on my phone? And then every time an update arrives the problems are back again...
This may sound silly, but have you tried updating each app individually? I only suggest it because perhaps it's trying to download all the temp data for the update at the same time which could be bigger than 140mb. Not sure if I'm right though

Hmm, I think it dowloads all apps seperately, but I still have tried your suggestion and some apps did manage to update.
However, Temple Run 2 has 'incorrect file package' error every time now. I uninstalled it and it won't download again.
And there are 4 other apps that won't update or re-download because of 'low diskspace'.
I want a permanent fix for this Do you have some more suggestions? I will try everything until I get this fixed
Anyone??
Thx for all the input... Apparantly this is not a common problem so that's why there are not many solutions.
I've solved this with a cache cleaner app, this one to be precise. Now all problems with installing/updating apps are solved

But why don't you just download it from the google play store?
(or try another site, if you want a separate .apk... Also, your phone saying that the package/file is corrupt, just means it's missing a file or a file is not working properly...)

[Q] Google Apps have no connection to server?

Hello,
since yesterday my Youtube App stopped suddenly to load videos (401 Error) I could browse them though only playback was not possible.
Google Play stopped working too, it has no connection and when I try to add a new google account it says "no stable connection to google servers" etc.
I have searched the web, followed some suggestions already, like clearing the cache partition and deleting the dalvik cache.
Even deleted Youtube / Google Services / Uninstalled Google Play updates.
And downloaded the .apk for Google Play manually.
Nothing helps.
Is there anything I could do now?

Hi,
You could try reinstalling your rom and gapps if there are a gapps package , but other than that, I'll have your thread moved to your device section.
Good luck !

Done, Gapps didn´t appear again
So downloaded Play Store apk from here. http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-store/google-play-store-5-1-11-apk/
Still the same error.
Downloaded alternative Youtube app now. Even this can´t load any youtube videos. Although browsing them works fine.
try to reinstall google play services
Didn´t help, I guess its bricked for some reason and I need to reflash completely
I guess Google just decided to not support my device anymore.
After wiping everything and intalling CM7+Gapps first everything worked nicely. Then Market updated to PlayStore and force-installed the Google Play Services.
After some more background updating the system was more and more laggy until the services were at. approx 200MB size. Which is the system storage of the P500.
:good:
Well went back to Stock ROM Backup by CWM Recovery.
First it worked now after a while again Network error in the market. (other preinstalled gapps, old youtube and such are working though) So I dont know what to do anymore.

How-To: Play Music Adaptive Storage

Go to apkmirror.com
Find newest play music app
Download and update it
Go to settings and usb storage
Find play music , move it to sd - card.
Bingo! Your sd card is now used for play music.

Is your version of GPM installed as a system app? Installing the latest update from APK Mirror doesn't seem to work on the stock rom with system google apps.

It isn't I am on true pure MM rom. Has to be as user app.

I was just able to get Google Play Music changed over to a user app on my Stock systemless rooted MM. I did not follow the OP's instructions though. First I thought that Titanium backup would be able to convert it to a user app, but it ended up hanging. Instead I used Root Explorer to go into system/priv-app and delete the Music2.apk. After that I rebooted to make sure that GPM was removed. Once I confirmed it was gone from the system I re-installed it from the Play Store, and moved it to SD.
All works fine now.
Anyone have any idea how to make this work on a non-root (stock) device? I really hate the fact that this scenario doesn't work properly... I have no access to my 128 GB SD card space.

A question about lineageOS's authorization-free app installation

today,i found a special phenomenon on my oneplus 8T with lineageOS.When i use OPPO's app store (as a user app) to download an app ,it installed it without root or any confirm (i have not seen the package insatller's user interface).I thought it may be a special interface designed by oneplus/OPPO and lineageOS's developers quoted it.However, when i try huawei's app gallery, it appeared again.I haven't granted huawei app gallery any special permission, but it could install an app for me without my authorization.other apps like file manager and download manager can launch the package installer and wait for my confirm when i open a apk file.I'm worried if virus could install something without my authorization.Could you please tell me why and if i could avoid it.(i'd appreciate it if you could forgive my mistakes in grammar.I'm not a native English speaker. )

Check under Settings --> Apps and Notifications --> Special App Access --> Install Unknown Apps. Also you can hit the dots at the top and choose show system. Anything out of the ordinary there?
Thanks for your reply. I thought that I found the reason. when I disabled lucky patcher's patch to Android magisk module, this problem was solved.
