No E2EE Lock Icon on Android Messages RCS - General Questions and Answers

Anyone know why there's no lock appearing? I clearly am sending messages with RCS and have chat features enabled. Curious as to why there is no lock.
I'm on a Google Pixel 5 running Android 12 Beta 3, and the other person is on a Google Pixel 5 on Android 11.

Emojis not being recognized? What is this?

Lately I've noticed these x-out boxes next to emojis in Google Messenger and the regular AOSP Messaging apps.. can anyone explain what's happening? It's mostly from iPhone users I believe

IPhone's just got a new update with new emojis, so you're not going to see those.

Account Sync Settings removed in Samsungs Oreo Build?

Pictures say it all.
Am I missing something, is there a workaround? Or do we now have no control over what gets Synced?
Before/After:
*Please forgive the old stock Android in picture #1, I could not find a Samsung Experience 8.0 (Android 7.0) picture.*

When will we get that gboard feature on non pixel phones?!

Regarding gboard, does anyone know when will we get the faster voice typing option on non pixel phones?
PS this feature is currently available on gboard on pixel phones only.

Google Messages iPhone reactions not showing on ATT branded phone?

I have a stock ATT note ultra. I also use Google messenges as my preferred messaging app. Why am I not see the iPhone reaction emoji. Is ATT blocking this feature. I am on the latest messages beta and do not see the option to turn on iPhone reaction.

Enable Smart Text Selection For Google Maps

Smart Text selection stopped working on my Pixel 7 Pro for Google Maps addresses. It appears to work fine for everything else. If anyone can share a way to enable this or find a workaround to get this working again, that would be appreciated.
