Hi everyone!
I have an Honor 6x phone carrying PixysOS (android 9). I recently bought a Mi Band 6 and paired successfully. It worked flawlessly for a few days, but then suddently I started receiving a "Bluetooth app keeps stopping" error that reboots the bluetooth and prevents pairing. Pairing with other devices (such as headphones) works as always. The mi band pairs normally with other phones. Using a BLE scanner on the phone I can detect the mi band but as I try to connect the error pops up again.
I don't know if it is relevant but I don't really feel like changing OS since TWRP refuses to backup and I can't manage to turn off encryption (unless someone could help me with that).
Thank you all very much for your help, have a wonderful day.

I'm not sure what exactly happened but I've been pairing with my old Nexus through bluetooth for a while now with no problems, and suddenly I stopped being able to connect to it or any other device. I can turn on bluetooth, see devices, and even pair but when I press on a device name to connect it says "connected" for about half a second and then disconnects immediately. Thought it was the Nexus but I am unable to connect to any other devices.
I tried rebooting, un-pair and re-pair, clearing bluetooth cache/data, clearing dalvik, but nothing.
The weird thing is that this actually happened a while back, and when I turned off developer mode it started working again. But now that's not doing anything.
I saw that there are a few old threads about others with bluetooth problems. Has there been a fix for this?
I'm running RR on 6.0.1.
Thanks in advance!
I'm writing a cordova app that was starting bluetooth just fine until, without any known change, it suddenly just hangs and my gui just sits there like duh forever. note 4 android 6 cant root it so ive got the bloat and the upgrade cycle slooowdown
I just got the Mix 3 coming from a Samsung S8.
I am still using mine Galaxy Watch, and when paired I actually got the screen to add it as trusted device with Google play Services, so it won't be locked as long as the watch is connected via Bluetooth, however it is not working, and in the settings, there is an option to unlock the phone with connected Bluetooth accesories but it doesn't show anything.
Any advice?

Welcome to one of the issues of MIUI.
Only option is to install custom ROM to get it to work as far as I'm aware.
With my Mi Band 2 it is working flawlessly.
Also with my LG G Watch R.
I have a Mi 9, Miui 10 with latest security update and it also has blocked non Xiaomi devices from being trusted.. a pain given that I use it as a car sat nav and streamer.

Yeah, there are reasons I use Android rather than Apple! It's a shame, because the Mix 3 hardware is outstandingly good.
I have OP7 PRO running android 10 and stock Oxygen OS (not root).
When I pair my device to my car bluetooth set everything works fine, but once the connection is lost it will not auto-reconnect the next time i'm in my car.
Moreover, in order to connect again i need to do the pairing again (not just select the device from the existing devices list).
I saw tons of threads online about this with no solution, some mentioned they think it's an issue with android OS and not the phone itself (this is supported by the fact that my wife just got a new Xiaomi and have the exact same problem).
Does it make sense that this is a global Android issue and has no fix for such a long time? did anyone experience it and managed to fix it?
I would guess at an issue with the car Bluetooth. May be theres a firmware update for that ?

That was my first thought, but it seems that the issue is on the device side as i can see that after connecting the device doesn't appear in the previously connected devices list.
As if the phone forgets it for some reason.
I've had occasional problems too. I'm using Launcher 10. Just last week, I turned on my wifi before starting my car as usual. It connected, then disconnected 2 times and then was stable. There's been times where I'll restart my car to fix it. It's irritating but who knows what can be done about it.
I have a rooted stock op7pro and I have a Samsung active2 watch that randomly disconnects and reconnects once or twice an hour. I have battery set to all Samsung apps on my phone to not optimize battery usage and I have no idea why it does this.
Sent from my OnePlus7Pro using XDA Labs
I have understood that it's also possible that it depend on the order in wich you connect.
You should first have to connect the car to the phone instead of the phone to the car.
Iow have the car lookup the phone
Yes, i head a lot about people with flaky connection but i hope that was the situation, for me it won't reconnet 100% of the times.
Changing the order of connections didn't work.
Hi All!
I need some help.
I have an android head unit in my car, with an android auto adapter on it for more than 1,5 years, and it has worked perfectly fine before. Yesterday i pluged my phone (galaxy note 9) on the adapter and it rebooted my phone again and again, after i tryed with an other phone (galaxy A41), it was working.
Today it doesn't work with the A41 eather, it made the same issue, constantly restarted the phone.
What do you think, what could be the problem.
Thank you the answers in advance.
Daniel
I have the same issue now after the latest update for Android Auto.
Very good I also have the same problem, I have been using android auto for more than a year without problems, I use a huawei Mate 20 pro phone and a CarlinKit unit. Try with a Xiaomi Note 9 pro and it also reboots automatically when connecting the phone. But with a Xiaomi Mi A1 it works perfectly.
The mirrorlink mode works perfectly so I discard the drive and cable.
Problem solved!!
You need to delete the Chrome updates, after that reboot your phone, and it will work again.
Yes, uninstall the update and also remove brave that uses the same engine. Thank you very much.
Hi. In the last couple of days, I used "Bluetooth Audio Receiver" from the Microsoft store to be able to play back music from my S20 FE android 11 device at work. I often step away from my work desk with my phone in my pocket, but yesterday I wasn't able to reconnect my phone via Bluetooth when I came back. Since then I can't connect to my work and my personal PC anymore, even tho I didn't even connect to my personal PC for a while.
I'm able to unpair and pair with said Windows 10 machines, but as soon as I tap the entry in the Bluetooth menu, it says "couldn't connect". I already tried to use the reset for wifi/Mobil/Bluetooth within the android setting, but it didn't change anything.
Restarted my phone and both PCs multiple times. It feels like something in my phone hang itself. I'm still able to send files from my PC to my phone and vice versa. I'm still able to fully use my smartwatch and Bluetooth headset.
Is there anything I can do? Any ideas?
PS: My phone is rooted.
Edit1: I just deleted cache and data of the Bluetooth app and did another reset of my network settings. I now can't pair with Windows 10 anymore. It says "couldn't connect" after the pairing dialog. My Win10 Device recognizes my Android device as paired. Which means I can't even send or receive files at my phone from my Windows 10 devices.
Edit2: My headset was still paired. Is there a way to reset saved pairing and data related to that?
Edit3: I don't know why I couldn't pair with my Windows device anymore, but it works again (Didn't do anything). Still can't connect to it, but can send files again.
TLDR:
Android 11 S20 FE can't connect to multiple Windows devices anymore with the massage: "can't connect".
UnPairing and pairing again won't help
Restarting effected devices won't help.
Resetting network settings won't help.
Nobody has an idea what it could have triggered it or what I could try to do?
Any idea is much appreciated.
