mine solution can revive phone but at the end pf process u still have a corrupted imei but maybe we can modify efs1.emmc.win and efs2.emmc.win to restore modemst1 e modemst2 (through hex editor maybe). Or root again with magisk or changing device to DIAG mode and flash with qpst (but with this i had no luck).
what do u need:
twrp image for xiaomi (find it here )
minimal adb and fastboot archive (here )
EFS backup from a working redmi note 8 (download from here)
1) first of all we have to put phone in fastboot mode pressing POWER button and VOLUME DOWN till phone restarts and show mi-rabbit
2) put downloaded twrp image in same folder with adb and rename it twrp.img
3) connect phone to PC through USB and navigate to folder "minimal adb and fastboot", here double click on cmd-here.exe or press shift + right click mouse and click on open powershell here or open command prompt here.
4) digit fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
5) press POWER BUTTON and VOLUME UP till u see redmi logo then left power button and still hold volume up
6) now u are on twrp recovery, PC now recognize phone like mass storage and u have to copy and paste EFS folder decompressed (without subfolders) on "TWRP" folder inside phone
7) on twrp click on "RESTORE" tab and choice "EFS" folder then swipe to restore
Wait till phone restart and configure it

It's just one compulsary update. Around September 2019 sp. I'm good now. I thought I had hardbricked the device when I changed primary partition to b and got stuck in bootloop unable to go into recovery. Then I used volume down + power and usb to directly get into fastboot.

ok - I had the same problem. I needed a cheap Westernized Xiaomi to ensure I can look after my child's digital wellbeing. Was really annoying - I purchased it expecting it to be the same as previous models and years where I have converted for colleagues here in China. However, there were problems immediately.
Seven days for a bootloader unlock - bugger that. Also, unable to install GAPPS without changing to GLobal Rom? urgh!
ok - I have a strange set up involving a MacBook pro and parallels. Mosty it works for my nowadays limited android needs. Certainly, I didn't expect this phone to be such a hassle. After the initial 7 days wait for bootloader (actually 9 - because I tried another count too), I had everything set up with multiple options.
None of the software worked... maybe the problem was the apple parallels thing, but I tried a **** load of things. Finally, bootlooped it... after trying to implement the TWRP. As if wasn't going to accidentally do this with the multitude of options to accidentally mess with.
So ... Long story ... short, I ended up not using parallels or software at all.
Did the fastboot/adb solve via Mac. Super annoying, because I don't really know and was unable to find out which I files I was supposed to flash.
Managed to un-bootloop from a Chinese Rom, but couldn't get any of the Roms downloaded to work... Was wondering even if my 9A 4gb 64gb mem was even classified as a Redmi 9A in global areas?
Anyway, finally fastboot Flashed a whole heap of files from a European from that did the trick. Think it was this one:
dandelion_eea_global_images_V12.0.11.0.QCDEUXM_20210225.0000.00_10.0_eea
But I seriously have no idea which files I was supposed to and which order etc.
I think I went something like fastboot flashed: recovery, boot, Vbmeta_system, vbmeta, vbmeta_vendor, userdata, super, recovery.
Super stressful....
HOpe this is some help.
Good luck.

If your device can boots finely, you can skip flashing preloader.

how do i Skip it?
just put the stock rom folder in the C disk partition, luckily it worked for me.
Fixed!
Here's what you do:
1) Make sure there are no spaces in the name of your ROM folder and MiFlash folder
2) Move your rom folder inside MiFlash folder.
3) Now move that MiFlash folder inside C drive. Directly inside C drive, not any other folder.
Go back and flash

Incompatible Hardware with System ROW ROM 332

When I install the .332 global rom, when I start the device, I receive a message that says: the hardware is incompatible with the current system. Someone with a similar problem?
Same problem but once i managed to start 332 rom. Don't know how. Sadly after restart it came back to incompatible hardware. Only roms that works on mine phone are 091 global and chinese.
