Same here !!!
I had this same problem with my device already TWICE..... in two weeks. I bought my phone, installed what i need.... in first week phone got dead overnite.... no charging light, no reset, nothing.... I put in on warranty repair.... after it came back the statement said that what I said did not appear so they reflashed it to newer ROM only....how I don't know when the phone was completely dead... I again installed all I need a next week after happened the same!!!! At evening phone was charged full and at morning it was dead. So second time i put it on warranty repair and they said that is my problem, that I should not install any another apps from MS store !!!! I mean what the F**K, I buy overexpensive phone and I should use it without additional apps from MS store??? then I need only Nokia from 1990 and I'll be set to phone and write sms My 8X is still in repair so we will see what will happen next time.... but to say truth, I'm fed up with this phone already...
Just happened to me few days ago with the battery at about 10%. after i totally gave up and ready to send it for warranty repair. After a day, it started again as the battery was fully drained. it seems that the phone freezed somewhere with the screen off and the only trick was to drain the battery. no key combination was working and no charging lite. It could be so easy if the battery was accessible, unfortunately it's not ((
phone dead

over two days the battery ran down prematurely and then refused to charge no charge light phone dead. htc less than helpful now begins the nightmare with Kogan support
Hello,
I searched for died 8X Phones. I have the same problem TWICE with my HTC 8X.
The firstdevice is ran 6 weeks, then the repair center has replaced my phone with a brand new one. After 2 weeks exactly the same problem (no function, no loading, no reset, no connection) with the second one
Have anyone an idea which function or app the phone lets crashing?
I woke up this morning to my HTC 8X being powered down when I know it had at least 45% battery. When I tried to power the device back on it would not come back on. I contacted HTC and they told me to press camera button+vol down+power for fifteen seconds and when the device vibrates to let go of the power button but keep the camera+vol down buttons pressed, when I attempted this nothing happend so the HTC representative on the phone advised me to just send it in for repair. I've owned the phone for a little over a month and a half, was on the latest firmware, and had the phone protected with full body invisible shield and HTC doubleshot case.
Had this problem yesterday...suddenly phone died and nothing
waited till i got home from work and plugged it in to the laptop and it sprang back to life saying it was compleatly out of charge....was showing 80 odd % before hand
Hello,
I went out last Friday and came home late. My phone is out of battery and dead. I plugged it in and woke up the next day with a dead phone. Apparently, there is a bug with the OPO. If the battery is too low, it won't even charge after you plug it in for charging. I have tried all tricks and even contact the OPO Tech Support Team. This thread describes how horrible they are:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/tech-support-onepluse-one-horrible-t3084022
I am at my wit's end. I have tried all the the tricks. This is a thread that I found that seems to have the same problem as I have.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/oneplusone-phone-dead-t3079256
The only choice I have left is to open the phone, disconnect the battery connection and reconnection it again. Hoping it will recharge. However, there is a warranty sticker and I don't want OPO to deny my warranty. I am not new to Android and I have fixed phones before. I also think of buying a new OPO battery and switch it with the factory one. Since the new battery will be charged, I think that will work in fixing it. But, doing that is much more complicate and it requires me to remove more components. If you have a good working solution for my problem, please help.
NOTE: please don't ask me to check my charger or use a different one. I check it 1000 times already. The original charger works, the cable works. I use different chargers and cables. Same result.
Thank you for your help.
Have you rooted and unlocked? I had the same problem when I got mine at first. It would show charging but never fully charge. 73% was all it would do. So after rooting and flashing a custom kernel the problem went away. Now I can go back to stock and the problem has never comeback. Maybe just a small software glitch or something. I'm just happy it's gone!

The phone is unlocked and rooted. The issue is not fully charged or not. The issue here is the phone does not charge after the battery die. The phone is dead because I let the battery run to 0. When I plug it to recharge, the low battery screen does not even come up. The phone is dead and refuse to recharge. There is no issue with the charger or the charging cable. I have checked it several time already. I am very frustrated with OPO Tech Support right now.
I see. Only other thing I can think of is try holding the power button for 60 seconds while it's plugged in. That does suck man.
I had similar issue, my conclusion is the bootloader charging function is broken.
Basically I would start the charging, it would charge for about 10 seconds or so, and then stop. I thought my battery was dead.
I couldnt boot the os as wasnt enough charge.
So eventually I just kept repeating the process, 10 seconds charge at a time, and eventually had enough juice to boot android and after that point it charged to full ok.
Never had this issue on any of my samsung phones.
Also to point out when it went dead it was plugged into my pc usb at the time with twrp loaded.
Recently my phone began to seem like it was discharging oddly and I noticed it was shutting of when the battery indicator still read around 20% so I calibrated the battery. I cant think of any reason there would be a direct relation between battery calibration and power sharing but coincidently after doing so evrytime I plugged in my charger (Samsung OEM, nothing generic) the phone initially indicated it recognized the charger with a chime and a halo ring above the home button but almost immediately charging stops and the phone gave a warning about power sharing indicating that the phone must be charged above 20%. To clarify, I've never used the power sharing feature and didn't even know about it till this issue arose. From this time on I could only charge the phone after I shut it down completely, simulated a battery removal and then inserted my charger afterwards while the phone remained off. Each of those times I've initiated those steps while some small amount of charge remained. Most recently the phone discharged completely and I cant get the phone to recognize any type of charger or USB. Lastly I began to noticed that thd phone continually mis recognized it's charger as USB and would indicated that USB had been removed even while the charger was still plugged into the wall and connected to the phone. I mention this because this says to me that there might be something which can be corrected which was corrupted or misconfiguration which could cause the phone to recognize the charger as USB. It might ve too late now that I cant get it to charge by a y conventional means though. So what do you think. Is it time to lay my Note 5 to rest already? I hope not. Unfortunately my warranty is void due to root so there won't be any exchanging. Thank God for insurance though right. If I can avoid the $175 for replacement I would love to though. Thanks in advance for your time anyone.

Your only choice is the 175, no way to get out of it....see if battery was removable could just buy a new one to see if its just the battery. I know one of my friend was having issue similar on the note 4 but a brand new battery fixed that.
Now instead of manufacturing warrantee, do tmobile warrantee. It should NOT be 175 for a replacement. You call them tell them the issue because I assume you have jump? Try the phone first...a replacement should come in 2 days. When I replaced my note 4 all I paid was 5 bucks.
Do warranty through t-mobile, they won't check for root
Check that there isn't any trash /pocket lint in the charger port.
Like with a flashlight
I am having the same issue, from everything I have read, a hard reset should fix it. I'm hesitant to do one because of the lack of an SD card. I have my cloud disabled because I don't want it, but I don't want to lose texts and pics I have saved.
I'd be tempted to odin to stock + factory reset.
As said, go thru tmobile. Just call them and tell them what it's doing. If it's a hardware issue I would have no problem doing a warranty exchange and in my previous dealings with tmobile, they don't care about the phone being knox tripped. My first note 5 I got back in November would get warm on longer calls and just shut off, I exchanged it with no questions asked.
Dude you pay 5 bucks on next bill and they'll overnight you a phone if u call now. They don't care honestly about root and your phone will be sorted as needing storage completely replaced anyway. I dropped my rooted Knox tripped phone new years eve. Screen died instantly. Yes they can detect if they were trying , even with screen dead, but they won't. I got my replacement today. Also if worse comes to worse and your worried about being told it's not covered when u mail back , the insurance warranty replacement is 50 or 75, I think 50. At first I thought also that I'm better off making the phone disappear, several friends at tmobile store advised me not to worry.
Edit: after reading again ,honestly I'm not sure which method mine was replaced with lol, I think maybe it did use the insurance. I just remember an option for more money as well, this option i was just asked to be sure no water damage and or signs of physical damage.

As per title, I was using my stock G Flex 2 to browse the internet and had it plugged in the charger and without even a warning, the display shut off and the phone ceased to be responsive. It didn't power off or anything, just died instantaneously and I can't turn it on again no matter how long I press the power button or leave the charger in.
I tried opening the back cover and disconnecting the battery, and reconnecting it but nothing changed.
What does this mean for me? The phone is over a year old already and as such, no warranty is left. It's really disappointing LG would release a phone that dies less than 2 years in use. My previous LG device, an Optimus G, also suddenly died and became a paper weight after the first year. I feel like an idiot buying this phone now.:crying::crying:
did you changed motherboard all that time you have the phone if not thats the problem because if you bought first parts of lg g flex 2 that will happen what varriant you have

Hi, I tried download mode but nothing happened. Press and hold Volume UP and connect USB to PC method.
So I guess my phone is useless now. How did your phone end up as?
That happened to mine too.
H950, flashed with 5.1.1 PR and rooted.
Was using it normally, 70% battery. Suddenly died. Got me scared, thought it had fried or something. The screen kept warm in the upper part, but no response at all.
When I arrived home, around 1 hour later, decided to mess around. Lg Pc Suite didnt recognize it, neither did the computer.
It was dead.
Then, being a bit stubborn, I decided to press both Power and Volume Down (or UP, I dont remember) buttons for a long time. After maybe 40 seconds of pressing the phone came back to life and never had problem with it since.

I tried holding the buttons down in all different combinations for over 1 minute, but nothing happens. I even tried removing the battery and just using the charger to turn on the phone, also nothing happened.
So at this stage, I'm guessing most likely the hardware has failed, maybe the CPU or the motherboard or something. Because it died so suddenly, like a TV when you pull the power plug. Overheating perhaps?
plugin in it to charger?

you just go to the store with the warranty invoice paper you got from the store you bought it
My phone is out of warranty, and where I am located, I can't find motherboards at a reasonable price.
Can anyone please mail me their extra motherboards, even its damaged, for a small fee?
EDIT: I'm in Malaysia

I got mine from Amazon and I'm from the UK so LG have no authorised service centres here according to their website, says they'll repair it onsite but I've had no contact from them so far.
there is man in uk of course
So after playing around with it for a while, I managed to bring the 0% battery screen up (with a yellow triangle) and left it to slow charge via my laptop. After 20 minutes or so it started booting up as normal and I reached the lock screen which said it was at 5% and charging. However a few seconds later it just cut out and is back to being a brick, I'm guessing the motherboard is the problem?
Mine Too
Mine G Flex 2 (H950) died while i was using it about 2 months ago .Till now no signs of life ....
Tried to charge it ,removed battery and reinserted ,but no use,it won't show any sign of life ...Does not show up on PC when connected with a cable ....:crying::crying:
i had just replaced my battery 2 months ago before this problem ...Seems like i wasted a lot of money on this device .....No warranty more than 1 year since i got it .....I think its some motherboard problem .....
Mine used to overheat as soon as it was booted up ..
Any one knows any cause/solution for it ???
This phone is really faulty. Last month i suffered bootloop so i sent it to repair. It lasted 1 month and now its broken again, after few minutes it self-restarts because it suddenly stops reading SIM card. And its not really faulty SIM card, because it works in my second phone perfectly.
I posted this on the tmobile site but can't seem to get an answer. I have no idea what to do.
So I've had my phone on for at least 7 days. A notification from Samsung's plus app told me to reboot it because blah blah it helps or something.
So I turned it off.
Now it wont turn back on. Tired holding power plus volume down. Tried booting into recovery. Don't have a Windows PC irght now to plug into and try things , but will install windows on a mac via bootcamp.
When I plug it into any charger. Nothing.
When I set it atop a wireless charger. The wireless charger detects it, meaning it lights up. But the phone itself doesn't give any LED notification.
Phone gets warm while on wireless charging pad also. So it may be charging.
What is going on? Any advice?
Plug it into a charger, hold the vol down and power button for like 30 seconds then the screen should turn on saying its charging, then just power it it on.
Nothing. It gets warm when charging. But nothing.
Am I pressing it wrong maybe?
Strange that usually worked for me when i couldn't turn on my phone normally, can you get into download mode? Vol up + home + power.
Well this sucks i can't turn my phone on now, the battery was depleting somewhat rapidly so i rebooted the phone, once it got to the unlock screen it froze. Now no matter what i try i can't get it to turn on.
Today it managed to start charging, but when I turn it on when it's charging the screen freezes into a garbled mess, without charging it manages to boot.

Same charging from PC?
Tried a different cable?
I have a Lumia 535 that messes up touch if I use my Sammy charger, same if I use my Raspberry Pi charger on my Windows tablet, the touch screen goes mental
Try a different charger / USB lead
I used various cables/chargers so that wasn't it. I went to a Samsung repair center and they suggested that... I have too many apps installed and that's causing the issue? Oooooook, granted this was just a rep and not someone doing the actual repairs.
Again my battery was low and I decided to reboot it and I can't start it again, very strange. If I get it working again it seems easy to duplicate if I goto Samsung again.
Called my credit card company and they have extended warranty on all purchases so i'm safe, the samsung store suggested to bring it in if happens again and they'll extend my warranty 3 months too.

Too many apps installed... how do these guys get the job in the first place, even as a rep?
It does sound hardware related, I'd probably use your 3 months ext warranty before it expires and the S7 finally commits suicide
Don't think knowledge is a requirement for these types of jobs, phone died again after a reboot and I can't start it anymore, going to the repair center after work.
It would seem not
Hopefully you get someone with at least some knowledge to help this time, likely you'll be needing a new motherboard / phone, unless it's something a bit less drastic like a dodge USB port
I thought it would be the usb port too but i tried using my wireless charger and the light on the charger was on meaning it was charging but it still wouldn't power up, i had it plugged in the whole day today and its completely dead.
Anyway it seems samsung warranty goes by build date + 1 year + 3 months leeway, unless you give them a receipt and then its just one year, so mine was built in feb 2016 so it has warranty till the end of may without a receipt.
Ah well, I suppose at least you get a new phone / board out of it, even thought it's a PITA RMAing your phone
Mine was manufactured 2016.08.16, just two weeks before I got it, so I guess that means November this year without a receipt, but pretty sure I still have the receipt anyway
They replaced the board and all is well now, first time any of my phones failed like this, and it had to be the pricey one.
They did it there and then for you? Was expecting a few days at least, nice job
Yea I've not had any failed phones to date either, hopefully not this one either
I dropped it off at 4 yesterday and it was ready by 7, i was a bit surprised by the speed too, seems they got all the parts in stock.
Can't complain about that service, makes you wonder if they have them in stock and can replace them in such a short time for a reason though... hope it's not a common fault
