Then you can directly go find Xiaomi repair center to find out the problem. Warranty should cover this issue.
Show them the screenshot to prove to them.
Backup your data first. Maybe they will reset your phone.

Actually I did a factory reset after which this happened, before factory reset I used it for more than a week and didn't get this kind of a graph.

So higher chance of hardware cause, maybe similar to the thread I posted. In that thread the person had written what he did.
Straight to Xiaomi repair center for help.

Took it to the service center, they said they didn't find any fault.
A reddit user posted a similar issue , even those guys seems least bothered. Don't know what's happening to the world !!

WhatsApp and Meet(?). Using a lot of resources.
I wouldn't like either one run on my device.
It may be a malware related issue or a crap app(s)... be careful what you download.
I see a factory reset in your future... load more wisely on the next OS.

It might not happen right away. Just keep in mind it happen before. Use your phone as you wish.
If in the future your phone sudden shutdown, or the battery percentage behaves strangely, you can check the battery meter.

[Q] [HELP] Note 10.1 Sudden Death

Hey guys,
Not sure what has happened to my note. I remember I only charged it overnight and in the morning I tried to turn it on and it stuck in the SAMSUNG NOTE 10.1 booting screen. So I did a quick search and I pressed power button + vol up button. After trying it a few times without any luck, my note suddenly went to this state (TV noise like - see pic). I could not do anything to it. Could anyone help me with this please? I am pretty noob in android device and never done any rooting and stuffs but pretty handy with PC. Thanks guys. Any help would be really appreciated.

not sure, I think it's either power off from a drained battery or just home screen. I charged it overnight and it couldn't be turned on anymore in the next morning.

If you're out by just a month or 2 I'd claim expected warranty. In Oz if the warranty is out by a small amount you can get it fixed under warranty because it is expected that the item will still be running outside the warranty period. It's ridiculous to have an item fail just out of warranty. It is expected to work for a while longer, not quit a week or month after the warranty ends...

[Q] HTC Sensation XE Dead while charging.

My trusty HTC Sensation XE running ViperS 2.0.2 (S-Off) just died on me.
Last thing i did was charge the battery and it suddenly died. The phone did not come into contact with water and didn't fall. The led light doesn't even turn on when the charger is connected. Luckily my wife has the exact same phone so i could test some things. The charger works fine on her phone. Swapped the batteries and her battery does not work in my phone. My battery works fine in hers. So it must be something with the phone itself.
I've read a lot of stuff on the internet today, but nothing has helped so far. Things i tried:
Booting to recovery (Vol down + Power) does nothing.
Connected the phone to my PC, Doesn't even get detected.
Remove SIM, SD and try to boot (normally and recovery), nothing
If anyone has any ideas i would be grateful to hear them.
I would try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1522351
Hi Shantur. Thanks for the quick reply. I will try this when i get home. Seems promissing.
Hi Shantur, just tried the guide to unbrick my phone. Unfortunantly my phone does not get detected. I tried 2 different PC's and even tried disabling automount like the guide states, but nothing. (See screenshot) I used the Latest Ubuntu 14.04 btw.
Any other thoughts ?

try this
remove simcard,sdcard and battery
charge the device as it is for 4-5 hours and put them back
switch on the device and see if you have results
Hi rzr86, I will try that. So the phone just needs to be attached to the power? It won't be charging if there's no battery. Just making sure...

it charges the device somewhere internally
i don't remember what exactly
I removed the battery, sim and sd card earlier yesterday morning. It had been lying around for hours without power. I connected it to the power supply and left it there for about 9 hrs. After putting everything back, the phone is still dead. Unless anyone has another idea, I'm afraid it's just paperweight...

Hi Rzr86,
Thanks for the info. I'm afraid the phone just isn't worth the costs any more to get it fixed.
I already had a backup plan.. It's my wife's birthday today and she really wants an iPhone. So i'm getting her one so i can get her Senation XE
Seemed like a better investment than fixing my own phone and getting her a crappy gift...

[Q] Android 5+ Unresponsive/Battery Drain

Having a very strange issue since upgrading to Android L -- thought I solved it switching to franco kernel -- but after 2 days it seems to have popped back up.
Randomly phone will be completely unresponsive via power button or any other means -- I can tell it is still doing things because the battery gets drained (incredibly quickly) and I see notification LED flashing when there are notifications. Only way to fix this is hard rebooting (power+vol down)
Oddly, when I look at the battery AFTER reboot this is how it looks (the empty area is during the lock up)

I initially thought this may be the sensor issue, but with the battery drain I am starting to think its something else (maybe memory leak?).
Anyone else facing this issue or have any insight on how to fix this?

have tried that a few times with no success. Problem only occurs in 5.0+ -- do not have this issue on 4.4 when i switch back over.
I have a similar problem with the phone turning off randomly and then in restart I've lost approx 50% or more battery life. If I turn the phone on and leave it alone for a few hours the battery slowly increases back to where it should be as if the phone can't read the stats right. I was going to sell up and buy a new phone but I love my Nexus and then remembered that Playstore Nexus devices have 2 yra warranty, even if you side load OTA updates.
I'm RMAing my phone with a replacement coming next week. Google confirmed that it was faulty but I suspect it's software and not hardware. To be fair the problem started with 5.0 and got worse with 5.0.1 and a cache delete and hard reset has not fixed it.
Can't wait for 5.1 in Feb but I'm sure there will be other bugs!
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
I called Google about something similar happening and they told me that if it was related to battery, the battery was only warratied for a year and they couldn't help me as it was out of warranty. Maybe I'll emphasize the restarting part.

It seems to definitely be a software issue -- if i downgrade to 4.4 the problem doesn't exist.
This is what people are complaining about with the "memory leak".
Reboot your phone nightly (while it's charging perhaps) and these issues will not appear. Otherwise, it might reboot on its own eventually anyways.
As you suspected, it's a software issue and nothing to do with the battery. The battery level changing drastically like that is common anytime the phone crashes or reboots itself and will calibrate itself eventually.
Google will RMA for software issues like this just to keep the customer happy but that won't help you in the long run, better to keep your non-refurbished device.

Innacurate Battery Meter Percentage

Hi my battery meter on my Idol 3 doesn't seem to recognize whether its charging or draining. It'll stay at 55% while charging for 1+ hour and the only way to get the actual charge is to restart my device. I've tried flashing different roms/kernels and draining the battery and charging to 100%. Just wanted to know if anyone had encountered this problem with this device or other and if you were able to fix it.

Hello, one of the ways that you can solve this problem is :
1º : do a factory reset
2º: take your battery to 0%, (turn off your phone)
3º then recharge to 100%
this will recalibrate the battery sensor.
(if anything is wrong correct me please )
Regards.
It can be these two things:
Battery defect
Software bug
Factory resetting wipes the batterystats, (no need to charge to 0-100)
Should it stay the same, it's most likely the battery.

Ensure you use the original charger and good (original) cable. And the rest as my predecessors said.
If you are not on stock (you wrote you tried different kernels etc.) use the Pc app "mobile upgrade Q" version 4.9.2 or 4.9.7 to go back to stock.
If it will not help, just call the customer support and send it back to seller.

I ment that defect power supply or usb cable, then it can confuse the software.
and if you flash the stock firmware using the pc app? its still the same? If yes, then return the device.

I'm using CM12.1 with the stock kernel. I'll reset first to see if it wipes the battery statistics then take it from there. I typically use an Anker quickcharge 2.0 charger for home and a Tronsport quickcharge 2.0 charger in my car.
I'll post once I can backup everything and reset.

Yeah. Looks like it comes to that as the battery with it's inaccurate reading actually undercharged today and know the battery is only lasting about 2 hours (screen off) from what I believe is a full charge. Too late to return it now, but I can still get it fixed hopefuly, I just wish I could find a replacement battery online to avoid such a thing.

why too late to return? you cant have the device for more than a year.
I finished returning to stock and it is even worse. Because it thinks the battery is at 0% it will shut down the moment it boots up. At least with CM12 I was able to use it. I will attempt to return to Cricket tomorrow. Hopefully I don't need to deal directly with Alcatel for the warranty.

You are right. The device comes with a one year warranty from Alcatel where I've had the device for less than three months. I would have much rather returned it to the retailer (Amazon) it's too late for that so I'll have to deal with Alcatel. Hopefully all goes right since the creation of this thread has revealed at least another person with the issue

May I ask when you purchased the device? I'm interested in knowing if it's perhaps a bad batch of battery controllers. Also is your battery greatly shortened like mine is? THe curiosity is real.
May need to change carriers. Cricket says that because there is a tiny ding on the corner that is only visible on close inspection my warranty is void and there is nothing they can do for me. This phone is less than 3 months old.

That's some bull**** man. Luckily I got the unlocked varient and my phone is in literally perfect physical condition. Hope all goes well with Alcatel, I think it will cause we're far from the only people with the problem and our phones seems to be manufactured at the same time, so that leads me to believe there's a bad batch. If Alcatel doesn't honor their warrenty then I will never purchase another Alcatel ever again. Their service regarding Marshmallow for their flagship is already bad enough.

Random shutdowns to 0% battery

Hello all
I have a G-930F running stock 7.0 Nougat and am not rooted. Recently my phone randomly shuts down and when restarted manually says the phone as 0% battery, despite the phone being on 60% before turning off. I got a 64gb micro SD card for Christmas which is the only major change I have made to my phone. Does anyone know what could be causing this/do I need to fit a new battery?
Please find attached a screenshot of my battery usage.

Could be the battery has failed, not uncommon amongst the S7's from the number of people I see complaining about the same thing
Could try clearing cache from recovery, and even a factory reset just to be sure it's not firmware related
Maybe even flash stock again with ODIN
Thanks for your response
Ive wiped the cache, if it continues will factory reset/flash stock
Might just be easier to get a new battery tbh

Probably, but would suck if you went through the whole process of heatgun removing the back of the phone, killing the IP68 waterproofing, warranty etc, just to find it still did it because of firmware
Probably is the battery though
Where are you (and your phone) when this happens?
It might be related to cold temperatures.
I had a similar issue anytime I use my phone out in the cold, the battery drops almost instantly.

It happened today afternoon and it was very cold, and this morning where it also was quite cold so this could play a part, weird tho as I'm also in Sheffield where it is also quite cold and this problem didn't occur

I'm right on the coast of the North East UK and it's snowing and icy outside, very cold in the mornings in the house before heating comes on, and no issue with the S7 battery (My iPad screen is so cold it needs wiping before I can use it, like condensation over the screen)
Although if the battery was on it's last legs anyway, it's possible the cold could affect it in ways it wouldn't to a healthy battery
I don't know how accurate AccuBattery is in telling the health of the battery, but it is in very poor condition, I've also reformatted my sd card, and the phone has not yet restarted (fingers crossed), will probably replace the battery in the new year
I've been getting the same experience .. I live in NL and it's not that cold .. the last time it happen was just now, and it's 12 degree outside ..
I think it got something to do with the last update (that was the last major change I had) ..

Hello all
I have a G-930F running stock 7.0 Nougat and am not rooted.

So yesterday it happened again so I removed the SD card however about 2 minutes ago it happened again, so I think it is due to the battery itself, will have to replace in the new year since I made my warranty invalid by getting my screen replaced and they removed the gold sticker on the inside
I have now replaced the battery, turns out the original had swollen quite considerably, as you can hopefully see in the pictures. The battery should be as thick as the black section and the grey part entirely on the bottom face.
Will report back if random restarts/switching off still occurs

Yea that's when it starts filling with gas, the plastic casing is airtight, but the gas is flammable if it leaked, I've had an MP3 player do that and the battery swole up so much it popped the front off the MP3 player, it was almost rounded
Hopefully your problems are solved
been two days no issues so the new battery seems to have done the trick
i did tweet samsung about the swollen battery, they gave me a call but since i did the repair myself they obviously won't look into it, but didnt answer my question about whether or not this was a known issue/could it happen to other people etc
You solved it allready. ...
yesterday I received a software update for the phone ... so last night I let my phone run through the battery ... this morning I woke up and it still on with batt level around 39 percent ... before, I could never reach 50 percent .. It would go from 60 something percent than suddenly died ..
