Hello!
Sorry, I don't know vell ENG, so I use a translator.
Problem with Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro phone (Global Update 12.0.6.0.RJURUXM) + device unlocked
Unsuccessfully decided to flash the phone... I got the POCO X3 PRO and POCO X3 NFC phones mixed up a bit. I downloaded the firmware from the POCO X3 NFC and put it on the POCO X3 PRO via TWRP recovery. Then I tried to return everything as it was, but I couldn't. Accidentally via the TWRP menu formatted the System + partition Cache + Data and a few more sections, I don't really remember. At this stage, the phone was still functioning, turned on and rebooted in the recovery - TWRP menu. Then I tried to return the old recovery menu and connect Fastboot, but I couldn't. The phone turned into a brick. The phone does not turn on, does not work, the "POCO" logo does not appear, there is no way to go to recovery and Fastboot. The battery charge at that time was 46%...
HOWEVER, my computer sees the device as an emergency communication channel through the COM4 port - Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 port
I'm already desperate and don't know what to do or what the instructions are... I don't want to open the phone and put it in EDL mode (if it helps at all)
I contacted a person with a service account, tried to restore the phone through the application "MiFlash_1212" by bypassing authorization and obtaining KEYS and access (I did not quite understand this point and how it works).
As a result, the firmware was able to run and the device began to be requested. But the following problem appeared, which I do not know how to solve, and that person stopped helping me (he has no time and simply does not want to, even though I paid him with money)
I read a lot of information on the form. Many tips and instructions did not help me.
What do I need to do? Who can I contact for help?
I wanted to get ROOT access (Magisc + YouTube Vanced + remove ads)
PS : But first I need to bring my phone back to life...
"I downloaded the firmware from the POCO X3 NFC and put it on the POCO X3 PRO via TWRP recovery."
-Why you put x3 nfc firm on x3 pro?
I guessed that you would ask about this moment.
It was my mistake and I thought they were the same.
And when the phone did not turn on properly, only THEN DID I REALIZE that I had downloaded the wrong files.
But what should I do?

Chances are you will still be able to unbrick it by playing with fastboot and using normal miflash
For the firmware go and search on mifirm device code vayu or poco x3 pro download the fastboot rom it should be in .tgz format
Unzip it and then put it into miflash l, switch the phone to fastboot mode by pressing volume up + power button at the same time
Hopefully that would do the trick or you can just go and ask xiaomi repair center since this case should still be within warranty
Contact your nearest Customer Support Center. They will fix the problem
Hassle free, just go straight to customer service.
If you still want to work on this, fine.
Its a stretch but is fastboot function restored?
If yes, download the fastboot image (not recovery) of your phone region, skip the miflash application and run the flash_all+lock script. The .bat file.
Make sure you get the right version for your phone and your region.
From the logs, wouldn't really be surprised if you still have no fastboot access.
Looks like the guy scammed you.
Sure he indeed have the right edl authentication but he only did his job halfway and bailed as your phone are still loading in edl mode.

The phone did not turn on and fastboot and recovery do not enter any mode. The service can accept it, but it is clearly no longer under warranty and the price can be set very high.

This is likely because you might have format some important part as IMEI number. Like this guy said: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/no-imei-and-no-wifi-plss-help.4276823/post-85014473
In this state, no matter what you do, you have to pay.

Straight to service center you go then )
It should still be within warranty becuz they only refuse hardware error not software brick
Beside it shouldn't cost much tbh
i did this mistake with my brand new galaxy s6 when it came out but the only solution i had was going to repair shop and the dude used a hardware tool called octoplus and he flashed it and worked but i lost my original imei adress but it worked i did search for you i found the tool you need is ufi box google it contact them and see if you get one or find a repair shop by the way i repaired that s6 with 10bucks
unfortunately, your only option is service centre as they are the only one who can get access to phone via edl mode and flash what was formatted
Just to be sure, I asked customer support and they said the following... "By installing custom ROM, Recovery, and/or Rooting your phone, the warranty is not void. However if your phone bricks while installing a custom ROM, then the warranty is considered void". They adding insult to injury for you

Are you still able to start a fastboot flash?
If so (or you don't know) go to the Mi site and download tha stable global rom and try to fastboot flash it.

But can you start the fastboot via Volume Down-Power buttons?
So power down the phone, push Volume Down and keep it pushed.
Then press Power until you see the MI logo.
Release the power button, but keep the Volume down button until you see the Fastboot screen.
If that works, connect the phone to the computer and try again via fastboot flash.

Sorry, i missed that in the opening post.
Most people call it bricked when it is not, i was assuming that in this case too.
Sorry.
In this case i cannot help you, i don't have that info.
When it comes to a hard bricked device, I'll just go to a Xiaomi Service Center in the nearest place around me.
I don't really know about Xiaomi's warranty policy, because they're vague. They don't have a clear policy for rooted devices. For Samsung they will void your warranty when they know it's rooted, but it's not clear in Xiaomi's case. I heard a rumor, though, that rooting doesn't void your warranty on Xiaomi, but if you want to keep to the safe side, do this.
Go to the nearest Xiaomi Service Center in your country, don't forget to bring your warranty card or at least a receipt of your Mi 4i purchase. Take your time waiting for your turn, and then when you're called, go to them and say that your phone won't turn on. If they ever ask you of what happened, just say that you want to update your MIUI version (don't mention that it is rooted), it is successful, but when you want to reboot it, it just shuts down and won't budge.
If you ever asked whether your phone is rooted or not, just say that you don't know anything about root.
How'd you bricked it? Can you explain

Since you don't have service center. You'll have to unbrick it yourself. First thing you have to find is the download points for the mi4i. I would suggest posting this thread on MIUI forums.

i was flashing a fastboot rom with miflash... before the flashing ends somehow the device got disconnected, from that moment no fastboot mode...
Since the installation was interrupted. The partition of eMMc is probably messed up.
So the only solution you have to get the phone to download mode. Don't hit and try test points. Curiousity kills
Even if you get it to download mode. You must have a partition image. Which can be obtained from someone's working mi4i. It would be a huge image. Somewhat around 16gb so it's not possible to upload such a large file
You can try to get some info from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/help/question-qualcomm-download-mode-k-t3068040
Hi! I have exactly the same problem. I was trying to find the test points in order to put the phone in fastboot mode. Are you sure this method doesn't work with the Mi4i?

But if no led thn its not.
And possibly if their is no hardware issue then definately led light is blinking.
so please tell ......light is blinking or not.if yes then i wil provide u solution for hardbricking MI4i without touching pin points.
Recently I installed orange fox. It installed correctly. Then I try to clean install latest beta of xiaomi.eu but ended with error 7. I wiped cache delvik data and internal storage. Now I am not able to boot in fastboot nothing and on connecting to PC it will some time detect as in COM edl mode but not able to flash fastboot rom from mi flasher and some times it suddenly disconnectes automatically. You are getting EDL mode which is good because you can actually flash stock ROM through EDL mode, most of the time it is required to touch test points physically in order to enter into EDL mode. You'll need Qualcomm QDLoader HS-USB Driver, stock ROM image and MiFlash. Let me know if you need any further help.

Nope I said when I connect it to PC some times it connects in edl then again get disconnects not recognized by computer. And another thing mi flash does not allow to flash in edl without authorized I'd and password. So i think the only way to reach nearest service center after lockdown ends. Because its not possible to open back cover alone at home. Sad.....
Ok so my phone again get back to life. Yesterday as nearest center (30km away) opens and i reach there first they flash it through edl mode. But the screen is still black but phone boots up. Then they notice that flexi cable of LED screen have a cut. They said local repair shop did that. And i have to change combo which overall coasts me about ₹3600.
Moral of the story - if u hard bricked and not able to do anything at home never give ur phone to local repair shops they may damage the things and situations get worst. Just reach to service center they flash the rom which just coast ₹150. Now not gonna flash anything for some days. horrible experience!!!.
I was on Crdroid and wanted to get back into Miui since there was weekly miui 12 version now. Downloaded it and flashed it but it would not boot. I remembered on poco i had that i needed to flash latest miui andro 9 before flashing latest miui andro 10 for some reason so i got back into twrp and did it. After reboot it went into some sort of boot loot and i lost any recovery and fastboot. Cant get into edl for that matter also. Anyone has any suggestion?
Can you elaborate a bit more, when you try to boot into fastboot with the button combination, does it work?
Do you get any indications when trying to turn on your phone?

Button combination gives me blank screen and revovery gives MI logo and just that until it rebots and stays like that in some loop. I can get into test mode after opening it to try QFill flashing but i forgot about account authorisation thing. I do not have any type of service center in my country that wants to deal with this. Issue is probably due to anti rollback policy in 2s. So i need solution to flash somehow thru qualcomm port but aparently only wth that account that has authorisation.
Thats where i got till now. Spent a whole day also at 4pda trying to find solution but nothing there worked for me

Oh that's unfortunate! I think that in this case you will need to find someone with an authorized account that will flash it for you remotely. There have been some people around here offering that service for a small fee but it might be worth paying as that might be the only way to fix it.
Same thing happend to me, first time i tried using custom rom. i dont know what exactly happened. i think its have something common with anti-rollback feature. I sent the divice to OFFICIAL service center.... I told them "use mi flash tool and authorised account to flash fastboot rom in edl" These OFFICIAL trained technicians... ehm idiots... change whole mother board.... atleast they count it as warrasnty repair.... there is one guy on reddit who succesfull unbricked his device via "shady bussines" (there is also contact on reddit page)... some guys offer xiaomi unbrick services via teamviewer. you can give it a try: https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/ftix9v/shady_services_unbrick_with_mi_authorised_account/ EDIT: its last reply reddit (hope its allowed to post links)
note: you can put yr device in edl mode by pressing powerbutton. im not sure if its pressing or holding. (yr phone need to by connected to pc, then mi flash detect the phone if all drivers are instaled, it should be shown in "windows device manager" as PORT named "qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008")
if you dont have authorised acc. this will happen https://imgur.com/a/oJVpKEl so you need someone with authorised account who will unbrick yr phone via teamviewer [Sorry for my bad english]
Ijust dont understand why xiaomi dont allow user flashing in edl mode... or just make harder to brick phone... i had oneplus and i never bricked it. bricking xiaomi is just super easy thank to their stupid anti-rollback and other b****its. i will never use custom rom on xiaomi again. i will dont buy xiaomi again
Did you try the MI Flash app? ...try to fastboot and check if mi flash works
Also try fastboot(combo-buttons only) and see if you can see the phone (cmd -> fastboot devices) ...if you see a device then you are good to go
If you have a fastboot miui rom you can use my guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-mix-2s/help/weird-behavior-boot-loop-random-t4086703
It's like using MI flash program but doing it manually - if mi flash gives you issues or else
P.S. CMD MUST be with administrator rights of course!
Hi Guys,
got a big problem here today. after installing on orangefox a miui11 stable rom suddenly flashlight went on and it stopped to install it... i was like WTF? so i have go to reboot to the recovery and my mix 2s DIED.
now
1) battery is drained
2) no fastboot (black screen on vol down + power key)
3) no recovery (black screen on vol up + power key)
4) bootloop on miui logo
any idea?
Hi, i think my phone is hard bricked or something, after updating to android 11 i lost root and the orangefox recovery wouldn't ask me for the decryption key, i tried flashing the custom recovery again but it didn't work, but somehow booting the recovery worked and tried to install magisk. Well after installing magisk, my phone got into bootloop. Everything ok as long as i could into recovery to format the phone if in any case something wrong happened, since i installed a custom recovery and a kernel, i decided to flash the stock rom, but then the MIflashtool said that it couldn't flash xbe file, for some reason i decided that i turning off the phone would be a great idea but it never powered on again. Also in my computer appears as Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008, after several errors and mi unauthorized account i don't know what else to do. I investigated a little bit and i guess is into edl mode without using test points.
I hope someone can help me, thanks in advance
PS: I'm thinking on sending it to service center to fix it, but i'll lost my data. If i just could manage to boot into recovery i'd made a backup and later recover it.
i think you should send it to service center there is no other way the only way is flash the phone with edl

Hello.
I own a Poco X3 Pro and was asked to updated my MIUI version after rebooting my smartphone. After updating it, the wireless lan stopped working. I can't enable it. Also the phone is very unstable now and crashes a lot.
I searched for way to downgrade and downloaded V12.5.5.0.RJUEUXM from downmi. When trying to downgrade I have to connect to the internet. I can't because the MIUI upgrade broke WiFi.
I also tried factory resetting it, but it requires me to have an internet connection for that.
I tried usb tethering but it also doesn't work.
So I need to know how to install the old MIUI version without WiFi or how to factory reset the phone without Wireless Lan.
I hope I didn't forget anything.
Cheers.
Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro
The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro is a 6.67" phone with a 1080x2400p resolution display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset is paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. The main camera is 48+8+2+2MP and the selfie camera is 20MP. The battery has a 5160mAh capacity.

Well, 1st off let me apologise for being ...!!!! So forgive me if I don't explain correctly... I think you need to use Xiaomi MiFlash tool to re-flash your firmware. Head to this link for your rom, then flash using PC/laptop and miflash software. Remember to select 'clean all' and NOT 'clean all and lock' when flashing otherwise you will lock your bootloader. But, this forum is for Poco F3 etc, not Poco X3 Pro, search your forum for further assistance.

I'm sorry for posting in the wrong section. May I continue posting in the thread or do you want me to recreate this post at the correct section?
Anyway. I was able to bypass the Mi-account locking by buying a USB-C to ethernet cable. That way I had an internet connection and was able to enter my My-account password.
Now it wants me to set up everything as if I bought it recently. At the last step I'm told that I have to redo everything since my google credentials haven't been added. I had a google and a mi account on the phone.
Sadly google isn't asking about my login credentials when setting the phone up.
Any idea how to remove the phone from my google account or how to add my google credentials?
It might take some time for me to answer and update stuff because I might be buying hardware like the cable which takes some time.
Mi unlock doesn't work. I get a chinese error that I translated online. Any idea how I can proceed?
I also bought that white/red EDL cable but pressing that button on the cable doesn't put my phone into EDL mode.
I was able to bypass my MI account with the usb-c to ethernet cable and entering the password. Now I want to set up my phone and since the wifi is broken I can't set that one up and can't enter my google credentials. It doesn't show me the screen for it.
I can get into Fastboot btw.
With MiFLash 2022.5.7.0 I can't flash V13.0.3.0.SJUEUXM Fastboot on my device. I get the Failed message with "Erase is not allowed in Lock State"
Is there a V13.0.4.0.SJUEUXM Fastboot? 13.0.4.0 was the version that crashed my phone because that one must have been incorrectly downloaded or something. So I had to download 13.03.0 Fastboot.

Can try this:
Install Xiaomi EU, IN, ID ROMs instead of Global without Unlocking Bootloader!
This Guide is for any Xiaomi device with any 'Stock ROM'. Please do the following steps carefully, especially from step 7 to the last step: Check the current MIUI version on your device, and to do this do the following: Go to settings> About...
forum.xda-developers.com
Or find Xiaomi custom service store/ repair center in your country or region to help you flash an official ROM. Since the bootloader is still locked, they might do it free of charge, ask though. Another reason is that you lost WIFI, and there is chance that is a hardware problem, so better let them check if it's hardware issue or not.
Since it bricked by updating to V13.0.4.0.SJUEUXM
I was waiting for V13.0.4.0.SJUEUXM to be released as Fast Boot.
For some reason only V13.0.6.0.SJUEUXM was released as Fast Boot. Do you think V13.0.6.0.SJUEUXM will ever be released as Fast Boot?
Can I use the V13.0.6.0 as Fast Boot to short circuit my phone to install it in ELD Mode?
