Are you still able to start a fastboot flash?
If so (or you don't know) go to the Mi site and download tha stable global rom and try to fastboot flash it.

But can you start the fastboot via Volume Down-Power buttons?
So power down the phone, push Volume Down and keep it pushed.
Then press Power until you see the MI logo.
Release the power button, but keep the Volume down button until you see the Fastboot screen.
If that works, connect the phone to the computer and try again via fastboot flash.

Sorry, i missed that in the opening post.
Most people call it bricked when it is not, i was assuming that in this case too.
Sorry.
In this case i cannot help you, i don't have that info.
When it comes to a hard bricked device, I'll just go to a Xiaomi Service Center in the nearest place around me.
I don't really know about Xiaomi's warranty policy, because they're vague. They don't have a clear policy for rooted devices. For Samsung they will void your warranty when they know it's rooted, but it's not clear in Xiaomi's case. I heard a rumor, though, that rooting doesn't void your warranty on Xiaomi, but if you want to keep to the safe side, do this.
Go to the nearest Xiaomi Service Center in your country, don't forget to bring your warranty card or at least a receipt of your Mi 4i purchase. Take your time waiting for your turn, and then when you're called, go to them and say that your phone won't turn on. If they ever ask you of what happened, just say that you want to update your MIUI version (don't mention that it is rooted), it is successful, but when you want to reboot it, it just shuts down and won't budge.
If you ever asked whether your phone is rooted or not, just say that you don't know anything about root.
How'd you bricked it? Can you explain

the fact is, i have no xiaomi service cnter n my county..
Since you don't have service center. You'll have to unbrick it yourself. First thing you have to find is the download points for the mi4i. I would suggest posting this thread on MIUI forums.

If you want any chance of help, tell us EXACTLY what you did/were trying to do.
And yes, we already know that you HARDBRICKED your device.
I read it carefully and was able to extract that much of information from your posts.

i was flashing a fastboot rom with miflash... before the flashing ends somehow the device got disconnected, from that moment no fastboot mode...
Since the installation was interrupted. The partition of eMMc is probably messed up.
So the only solution you have to get the phone to download mode. Don't hit and try test points. Curiousity kills
Even if you get it to download mode. You must have a partition image. Which can be obtained from someone's working mi4i. It would be a huge image. Somewhat around 16gb so it's not possible to upload such a large file
You can try to get some info from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/help/question-qualcomm-download-mode-k-t3068040
Hi! I have exactly the same problem. I was trying to find the test points in order to put the phone in fastboot mode. Are you sure this method doesn't work with the Mi4i?

Hey Bro u say their is no led? I also did hardbricked my MI4i ,no fastboot ,no recovery but atleast my phone have fade blinking red light when connecting to chrging.
So,if ur phone have a blinking red notification light then its possible to revive it.
But if no led thn its not.
And possibly if their is no hardware issue then definately led light is blinking.
so please tell ......light is blinking or not.if yes then i wil provide u solution for hardbricking MI4i without touching pin points.
Hi everyone!
Well guys, sorry to bring this subject on thread again (because this forum has a lot of guides to solve this problem).
But I'm without hope with my phone at this moment.
Let me tell you guys my sad story...
I have an Oneplus 6 since december 2018, and never, NEVER, tried to use any modification on my phone.
I am from Brazil (so sorry for my bad english =] ), and here we CANNOT use Oneplus Support services (I've tried but only received the response "sorry I cannot help you on your country"), so because of this, I've decided to never apply any modification to avoid problems.
This week after a simple reboot my OP6 started with "Qualcomm CrashDump" error and my despair begins.
I'm not able to enter on Fastboot Mode. When I try, the systems attempt to boot (the fastboot mode logo appears) and fall down into crash again.
I'm not able to enter on Recovery Mode either. This method shows nothing, only black screen and after some time the crash screen comes again.
I do not have Bootloader unlocked too.
Any suggestion to use TWRP via fastboot.exe or ADB are useless, because I cant make the connection. At least I think that is impossible because the 'adb devices' command does not find the device.
I followed a lot of guides from XDA to solve my problem, including the Mega Unbrick Thread.
I already downloaded at least 8 different versions of msmdownloadtool in consecutive attempts of unbrick my phone. Nothing really helps.
The most weird situation is that msmDownlodTool can finish the proccess with success. The driver installation is working... everything seens OK using the tool but my phone does not revive
Someone have a suggestion for me?
Any suggestion, tool or alternative method is welcome in my actual situation.
Sorry if I posted at wrong local, just tell me and I can fix if necessary.
Thanks in advance to all of you guys.

Yes, I am unable to enter into Fastboot Mode.
When I try, the logo saying "fastboot" appears, but after 4 seconds, the systems stucks on CrashDump error screen again.
That way my PC cannot find my phone with ADB or FASTBOOT commands.
The only tool that works is msmDownloadTool, but even with a success run with that tool, my system does not start and stills under CrashDump error.
I was thinking if exists some version of msmDownloadTool that justs restore the fastboot and unlock bootloader with brute force.
Thats my last hope

Source is a videotutorial. google oneplus 6 hardbrick and click the video of Max Lee
(it worked for me)
the download takes an awful lot of time
first get your phone into qualcomm download mode by holding down volume up + power button and plug your device in your PC.
(first unzip the hardbrick zip folder) then the oneplus 6 folder and than the .exe file and click 'start' if it detects your phone.
That is flashing every chip and Hydrogen OS 5.whatever.3 but that is not important. Your phone should boot and than you can install Oxygen OS with android 10(thats the other zip folder) using the local upgrade feature.
(make sure to enable google play services after upgrade from hydrogen OS)
Hope it will work for you too if you haven't tried it already.
Hello, firstly allow me to apologize for my English and long post.
I had a problem with TWRP not being able to perform any action due to not being able to mount data, after searching on the internet it was suggested to flash the recovery with OrangeFox, which I did but wish I hadn't.
Now my phone constantly reboots without showing anything on the screen, was it not for the vibration I would think that it was completely dead. It should be noted that it currently has no working ROM inside (hence why I was trying to flash another one with TWRP which was not working), before flashing OrangeFox when I opened it it went straight to the recovery, although it did show the Xiaomi brand while booting. Now I'm unable to perform any action, including the most important one, accessing the bootloader in order to flash another recovery. Is there anything that can be done by me? Is it dead for good? Do I have to send it to a technician?(I would rather try everything before that)
You may have to re-flash TWRP via ADB fastboot. Once you are done go straight to TWRP

I cannot access the bootloader to flash TWRP. I cannot also use ADB to reboot to bootloader because it doesn't recognize the device, it says "no devices connected" or something similar. When I was able to access the phone I had to change the usb mode to DIMI or something similar, I don't quite remember how it was called.

My redmi 6 is broken with a black screen and vibrates about every 10 seconds or so
sp flash tool might solve your problem; you can download the stockroom of your phone from the official website and try to flash it through SP Flash tool;

I hope that you can fix your phone

Thanks for the information but that that was one of the first things I did; didn't work for me either. I gave it to Xiaomi to fix it, I expected to have to pay even though my phone is still in warranty but strangely they fixed it for free. I didn't tell them how it happened though, I just told them that it had stop working. I suppose that they didn't care to check whether I had done something on the device.

I'm in touch with a guy with and authorized EDL account for Xiaomi, who speaks Spanish and English, but he's not sure I'm plugging the phone in EDL mode, he insists that I must use the test points, I tried everything but I can't find them. So, was your phone before flashing just rebooting in a loop with a totally black screen and just small vibration after some seconds? That Arab guy was able to come alive your phone just with sp flashtools and an authorized account?
I guess my phone is in the same kind of brick that yours were, the only way to detect it in my laptop is keeping press the volume up button after plug and it appears in the devices manager just for a second unless I tried some operation with sp flashtools (error status_brom_cmd_fail (0xc0060005) by the way). Is this the same state your phone was?
Thank you so much for your help.

Hi @Pradeep1998, as far as I know, the only way to unbrick a phone in that state is using sp flashtools, you won't be able to flash an image using miflash because the phone is unable to boot in recovery or fastboot modes.
I assumed the only thing I need to unbrick the phone is an authorized account to login when trying to flash.
I can tell you what steps I did to get to this point:
Install all necessary drivers on the computer to detect the phone. I presume you already have them.
Open device manager on Windows and plug the phone, in the USB computer port, with button volume + pressed. Wait a while and you should see a new interface show in just for 1-2 seconds. It appears every time the phone boot.
If you can see the device, it's time to try to flash:
Download and install MiFlash Pro. It includes a flashtool version integrated in some way with Xiaomi account, which is necessary to login and unlock the bootloader during flashing.
Download an image to flash for redmi 6 (cereus)
Download auth & DA files for spflash. I'm not sure if it's important use one or another, I use these that I got from some forum.
Open MiFlash Pro app and, in the top bar, you can see spflash, click there and spflashtool app will launch.
Load scatter file from cereus image and DA & auth files. If it throws a validation error loading the files, go to the options and uncheck one item to avoid validation (it has exactly the same name that the error)
Click Download, plug the phone with volume + pressed and when the app starts to flash a login Xiaomi miaccount windows will be shown; if you fill with your username data it will say, unauthorized account or something similar.
I hope this information is useful to you. Greets.

My phone had the same issue with yours ( black screen, vibrates every 4 or 5 seconds, and the laptop detects it only for a second when I plug it pressing power button as I remember, and sp flashtools gives me an error ( BROM_START FAIL SOMETHING) so it was exactly the same error. By the way, according to my knowledge there is no EDL mode for MTK devices ( redmi 6 comes with an MTK cpu).
The guy repaired it with mi flash tool ( mi flash comes with an sp flashtool that kept asking me for an authorized account).
So I think that your device can be fixed with an authorized mi account.
Stuck in EDL mode , "hello packet error" , unauthorized to flash. [BRICK NOTE 7 PRO]
[URGENT] Redmi Note 7 Pro stuck in EDL mode. I was trying to flash stock Mi rom using TWRP on my rooted device to unroot it but idk something went wrong. I had cleared Delvik-cache , cache , Data and Internal Storage. I formatted my data to de-encrypt my Internal Storage too.Now i cannot boot into recovery / cannot boot into download mode. From googling a little i know my phone is in something called EDL mode. My PC detects my phone when i plug it in but nothing in my phone works, absolutely nothing. Screen is blank since 2 days and i think it's bricked. The only thing that works is power button , it just power-cycles my phone. I am trying to flash a stock fastboot rom using MiFlash tool which is able to detect my phone but it keeps saying that i'm not authorized to flash this rom , . Has anyone found themselves in a similar situation? Please help me!
TL;DR - Bricked Redmi Note 7 Pro , Stuck in EDL Mode , MiFlash - "hello packet error" , unauthorized to flash the rom.
Any help will be much appreciated i really need my phone

No, you have to pay to get an authorised account. It's a pretty complex and sketchy process. Take it to your nearest service center as soon as lockdown ends. Or find a way to get an account like that online.
Hello!
Sorry, I don't know vell ENG, so I use a translator.
Problem with Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro phone (Global Update 12.0.6.0.RJURUXM) + device unlocked
Unsuccessfully decided to flash the phone... I got the POCO X3 PRO and POCO X3 NFC phones mixed up a bit. I downloaded the firmware from the POCO X3 NFC and put it on the POCO X3 PRO via TWRP recovery. Then I tried to return everything as it was, but I couldn't. Accidentally via the TWRP menu formatted the System + partition Cache + Data and a few more sections, I don't really remember. At this stage, the phone was still functioning, turned on and rebooted in the recovery - TWRP menu. Then I tried to return the old recovery menu and connect Fastboot, but I couldn't. The phone turned into a brick. The phone does not turn on, does not work, the "POCO" logo does not appear, there is no way to go to recovery and Fastboot. The battery charge at that time was 46%...
HOWEVER, my computer sees the device as an emergency communication channel through the COM4 port - Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 port
I'm already desperate and don't know what to do or what the instructions are... I don't want to open the phone and put it in EDL mode (if it helps at all)
I contacted a person with a service account, tried to restore the phone through the application "MiFlash_1212" by bypassing authorization and obtaining KEYS and access (I did not quite understand this point and how it works).
As a result, the firmware was able to run and the device began to be requested. But the following problem appeared, which I do not know how to solve, and that person stopped helping me (he has no time and simply does not want to, even though I paid him with money)
I read a lot of information on the form. Many tips and instructions did not help me.
What do I need to do? Who can I contact for help?
I wanted to get ROOT access (Magisc + YouTube Vanced + remove ads)
PS : But first I need to bring my phone back to life...
"I downloaded the firmware from the POCO X3 NFC and put it on the POCO X3 PRO via TWRP recovery."
-Why you put x3 nfc firm on x3 pro?
I guessed that you would ask about this moment.
It was my mistake and I thought they were the same.
And when the phone did not turn on properly, only THEN DID I REALIZE that I had downloaded the wrong files.
But what should I do?

As they say : "Hope dies last" =((
Chances are you will still be able to unbrick it by playing with fastboot and using normal miflash
For the firmware go and search on mifirm device code vayu or poco x3 pro download the fastboot rom it should be in .tgz format
Unzip it and then put it into miflash l, switch the phone to fastboot mode by pressing volume up + power button at the same time
Hopefully that would do the trick or you can just go and ask xiaomi repair center since this case should still be within warranty
Contact your nearest Customer Support Center. They will fix the problem
Hassle free, just go straight to customer service.
If you still want to work on this, fine.
Its a stretch but is fastboot function restored?
If yes, download the fastboot image (not recovery) of your phone region, skip the miflash application and run the flash_all+lock script. The .bat file.
Make sure you get the right version for your phone and your region.
From the logs, wouldn't really be surprised if you still have no fastboot access.
Looks like the guy scammed you.
Sure he indeed have the right edl authentication but he only did his job halfway and bailed as your phone are still loading in edl mode.

The phone did not turn on and fastboot and recovery do not enter any mode. The service can accept it, but it is clearly no longer under warranty and the price can be set very high.

This is likely because you might have format some important part as IMEI number. Like this guy said: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/no-imei-and-no-wifi-plss-help.4276823/post-85014473
In this state, no matter what you do, you have to pay.

Straight to service center you go then )
It should still be within warranty becuz they only refuse hardware error not software brick
Beside it shouldn't cost much tbh
i did this mistake with my brand new galaxy s6 when it came out but the only solution i had was going to repair shop and the dude used a hardware tool called octoplus and he flashed it and worked but i lost my original imei adress but it worked i did search for you i found the tool you need is ufi box google it contact them and see if you get one or find a repair shop by the way i repaired that s6 with 10bucks
unfortunately, your only option is service centre as they are the only one who can get access to phone via edl mode and flash what was formatted
Just to be sure, I asked customer support and they said the following... "By installing custom ROM, Recovery, and/or Rooting your phone, the warranty is not void. However if your phone bricks while installing a custom ROM, then the warranty is considered void". They adding insult to injury for you
My Vayu is stuck on QUSB_BULK in device manager, I don't even know what to do?
