I removed the demo mode but mobile data is not working. I have 2 p40's, both of them have the same problem. 5g is active but 4.5g is not working, it seems passive.
Is there anyone who can offer a solution?

I have read awhile back about Wifi issues..
but anyone notices that the mobile data also have this issue? I have to turn on Airplane mode on then off to get my data working again...
Yep Lee too
I am getting low internet speed when using mobile data in both the sims. I have tried using the sims in another phone, they work fine. Wifi speed is great. Only mobile data speed is low. Internet works fine when i turn on and off airplane mode but only for a minute. After that it again becomes slow. Have to turn on and off airplane mode every other minute. Any solution for this? Already tried network reset and cleared the cache also. Flashed software via recovery also.

I'm also facing smae issue
Any Solution anyone. Just upgraded to Pie and wiped everything including internal storage. Same issue.
Hi.
I noticed that after being connected via WiFi for a longer time, e.g. during work at the office and then when I go out of WiFi range and phone switches to mobile data some apps don't seem to be able to receive mobile data or don't see the connection at all. E g. Waze (shows "waiting for network") and OnePlus community app can't read contents. Chrome browser works without issues at the same time.
Only reboot fixes it.
Anybody experiencing similar issues?
Not sure how related it is, but I was having problem with my vpn. When I got off wifi it would not automatically connect and apps wouldn't have data, there were some other symptoms that I don't remember now. Anyway going to developer settings and turning on mobile data always active fixed the problem for me, might be worth a shot.
Same here

Yeap, I use nordvpn, ones I leave my house using wifi and vpn, I loose data when switching to lte.
I don't have this problem with my op6.
Thanks for your input. So it looks like it would maybe be worth it posting about this issue in the OnePlus support forum.
I just noticed default 4G network mode is not the one I used to have on all my previous devices. (See attached picture). I'll try to switch to LTE Global and will be checking whether it changes anything.
my oneplus7 pro turn off mobile data but still working mobile data
version is android 10
what is the solution?
Hi All,
my Moto g7 power is unlocked and has LOS18 (lineage-18.1-20210814-nightly-ocean) installed.
I am seeing the following behavior for some time now:
The mobile data connection of my phone works fine and the LOS-Toolbar is also showing the correct icon for the available data connection.
When turning the mobile data connection off and after some time back on again the mobile data connection works and is available.
(The mobile access to the internet is actually available and most apps are working fine)
But the toolbar-icon is still showing the little "x" which would mean that no data connection is available, or at least the OS somehow thinks that no connection is available.
Additionally some apps are not working properly since they rely on the OS info if a data/internet connection is available or not.
So these apps simply say "no internet connection", and don't work.
I can just fix this problem by doing a restart of the phone.
Maybe somethings going wrong with the captive-portal check of LOS or sth similar, I don't know.
Is anyone else maybe experiencing this issue?
Would be great to get some help here.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers
