Greetings forum,

Last month I accidentally dropped my fone and broke the screen. I somehow managed to get most of my other data copied into computer .but not photos from camera gallery.
Next day I gave it for repair and receive a weeklater. I checked fone gallery and there are around 2000pics and vids.
i stopped backup on Google drive since June last yr and don't use mi cloud.
However from the next day I noticed after clicking few pictures from the camera the gallery disappeared .
I have tried many ways as described online Inc disk digger.which could retrieve but more as thumbs and all the images on the phone.
How do I get back my gallery only ,with exactly file names and everything.
Is it possible?,can anyone guide. ?pls help
Attached file manager and storage.

phone redated most picture on sdcard

Hi,
I've got a really strange issue:
somehow my phone changed the date of my taken pictures and whatsapp pictures saved on the SDcard. I dont know why or how that happened.
See the picture below/attached.

What is the best way to correct the dates? It would take a lot of time to change every single picture since there are around 150 pictures to be changed individually.
Is this maybe a mistake of the media cache??
I found out that you have to modify the pictures on your phone with an app.
I tried to copy the files to my computer, correct them and copy back to te phone. But once you copy the files to your phone the last modified date changes to todays date.

Click to collapse
yes, this is beacuse of the MTP protocol (Media transfer). This is really annoying! It is impossible to copy files from computer to the phone and keep the date as far as I know.

I don't like Google drive. I use mega. Never had any issues. But then again I'm firmly against Google having so much control over my device.
When you delete it goes to trash. Look carefully and locate it. Empty it
Yep, it's probably in trash and needs to be emptied. But this will be done automatically after one or two months, nonetheless.
Also, if you deleted really many files, it can take quite some time till all of them show up in trash.
maybe google drive's cache ,try to format cache

Parallel Apps Encrypted My Files!!

I installed a secondary whatsapp via parallel apps and it asked me to sign into my Gmail to restore my backup so I did. That's the same account that my phone is signed into but since doing it all my files disappeared. All my folders were emptied like from a fresh install. I removed the parallel apps whatsapp but it stayed the same. After research I realise it somehow switched my media folder of my phone to a new folder with nothing in it. My original files are all encrypted and I can't get them to come back to normal.
The folders in 0 are what my phone seems to be accessing and the folders in 11 are all empty. The other encrypted folders seem to be my files. Does anyone know how to get them back?
Side story, this happened 2 nights ago and I didn't know why so I ended up wiping my phone and reinstalling. It's after just now trying to set back up parallel apps whatsapp that I realise it is what caused my files to disappear a few nights ago. It initially happened on 5.1.9 and when reinstalling I decided to try the latest P beta and that's what it happened on just now.
Any help is appreciated!

Hack/Un-Brick Mijia Smart Home Security 1080p (MJSXJ05CM)

HI !
I tried downloading tf_recovery.bin to sdcard and flashing but it did not work and I worse, I think my camera is bricked ...
LED amber is not blinking, it is permanent on and the camera does not move.
Same observation without sd card.
I'm trying to find an original recovery image but I'm struggling. I opened a post on the Xiaomi forum and GitHub, I hope someone can help me.
I disassembled the camera.
Now, I'd like to solder a serial port to get serial access and view (hopefully) where boot blocks.
The problem is that I do not know where are the pads TX0, RX0 and GND.
Can somebody help me please ?

hi
problem solved here ;

This happens if you are trying to set up your personal security system without the help of a professional security company. In my opinion is really important to approach the professionals, especially if we talk about the security company, last year my house was robbed by a couple of jerks, and the police said that happened because of the bad setting of the security system that I installed by myself, after this case I approached the professional security company https://wyesecuritysolutions.co.uk/ they installed cameras and detectors, and one month ago police arrived very fast because security system detected invaders very early.

I was receiving a notification from the system "SIM 1 not provisioned":
