Hack/Un-Brick Mijia Smart Home Security 1080p (MJSXJ05CM) - General Questions and Answers

HI !
I tried downloading tf_recovery.bin to sdcard and flashing but it did not work and I worse, I think my camera is bricked ...
LED amber is not blinking, it is permanent on and the camera does not move.
Same observation without sd card.
I'm trying to find an original recovery image but I'm struggling. I opened a post on the Xiaomi forum and GitHub, I hope someone can help me.
I disassembled the camera.
Now, I'd like to solder a serial port to get serial access and view (hopefully) where boot blocks.
The problem is that I do not know where are the pads TX0, RX0 and GND.
Can somebody help me please ?

This happens if you are trying to set up your personal security system without the help of a professional security company. In my opinion is really important to approach the professionals, especially if we talk about the security company, last year my house was robbed by a couple of jerks, and the police said that happened because of the bad setting of the security system that I installed by myself, after this case I approached the professional security company https://wyesecuritysolutions.co.uk/ they installed cameras and detectors, and one month ago police arrived very fast because security system detected invaders very early.

Welcome to forums
1st. You buyed a chinese bad quality copy device
2nd. This is an HTC devices only forum
3rd. Ask for your money back! (If possible)
4rd. Buy an original HTC device so you can get all support from this great site
5th. If points 3 and 4 can´t be done, then use google to find some help regarding on your device brand...
Good luck,
Hey orb, good advice as usual
Cheap copies are nothing more than a pretty paperweight that can receive occasional texts, sorry mate but dont expect full functionality or for it to last too long.

(Android9.0) Huawei's poor after-sales service and software

The Problem of 167
(1) Very poor lens imaging ( How come dxomark mark ? Money )
(2) WeChat late question
(3) Slow charging
(4) System not smooth
(5) Full of lies
(6) Poor game experience
(7) Poor after sales
(8) Poor after-sales discussion area
(9) Someone said , Poor GPS usage
I don’t like the negative optimization that THEY don’t do THEIR part .
When you buy a Huawei mobile phone, you will find that you are talking about any mobile phone in their official forum. They think it will affect them.
You never know that you bought a mobile phone but you can't reflect any problems. The most painful thing is that they will find someone to pretend to be your own operation problem.
There are often people who say this is not a game phone, so when you have problems playing the game, it is normal.
So i want to ask , how 穩 is ?

Huwei p10 phone screen randomly turned to stripes and won't respond

My phone screen randomly changed to this:
I didn't damage my screen or anything. Was working perfectly an hour ago. Is there any way to fix this myself? A guy on youtube fixed his phone which had the same issue, but he replaced some small part that he called a data filter i believe. No idea what it is or where to buy it. Nor do i know how to fix it like that.

Scan your device to check whether there is any malware or virus at first.
If there isn't, it should be some hardware failure. Then you'd better go to a local customer service center for professional supports.

How am i supposed to scan it for malware or virus if this screen is all it shows and it's completely unresponsive?
Do you mean plugging it into my computer and try to find a way through that?
I'm pretty sure it's a hardware issue. But i was hoping i could fix it myself by buying parts. But most likely i won't be able to. I'm on a budget so i can't fix it anytime soon. Thanks for replying.

I have an Android phone with a thermal imaging camera; can you help me reverse engineer it?

Hi!
I've bought a Blackview BV6600Pro. I don't see any existing forums on it (not surprising, Blackview doesn't seems to be very popular), so I'm posting this here.
This phone has an actual FLIR thermal imaging camera, with a Lepton sensor I think. It was $240, including shipping. As far as I can tell, that's _by far_ the cheapest thermal imaging camera you can get with this good of resolution. Here's the laptop I'm writing this on:

That said, the stock firmware kinda sucks. And I don't expect any security updates. I'd love to get Lineage up and running, but have no clue where to start. It's based on a MediaTek MT6765V, if that's relevant.
I'm a very experienced software engineer, and long-time linux user, but don't know many details about Android.
Anyone here interested in pointing me in the right direction? I don't even know how to dump the stock ROM off it.
Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm also happy to take requests for infrared photos I mostly got this thing just to sate my own curiosity.
