Huwei p10 phone screen randomly turned to stripes and won't respond - General Questions and Answers

My phone screen randomly changed to this:
I didn't damage my screen or anything. Was working perfectly an hour ago. Is there any way to fix this myself? A guy on youtube fixed his phone which had the same issue, but he replaced some small part that he called a data filter i believe. No idea what it is or where to buy it. Nor do i know how to fix it like that.

Scan your device to check whether there is any malware or virus at first.
If there isn't, it should be some hardware failure. Then you'd better go to a local customer service center for professional supports.

How am i supposed to scan it for malware or virus if this screen is all it shows and it's completely unresponsive?
Do you mean plugging it into my computer and try to find a way through that?
I'm pretty sure it's a hardware issue. But i was hoping i could fix it myself by buying parts. But most likely i won't be able to. I'm on a budget so i can't fix it anytime soon. Thanks for replying.

Oh, i see, did not know those even existed
But on the keynote the USB popped out by accident and the screen went idle, but when he re-plugged it, it continued. So Microsoft does the screen capture by USB but that may be internal use only probably.
Its the internal thing that MSFT has. It's not supposed to exist if I recall correctly. The software is made for internal dev devices. Not all MSFT employees have access to that.

Bug or something?

Here's what it is.
If you try dialing those service USSD, or USSID, don't know what it is called, you cannot press a key for reply.
Try dialing something like *xxx#, then a notification comes asking to dial either 1 for Option 1 or 2 for Option 2, and there's no possible way as to press the key.
It is not actually calling, but something you dial like when you want to check your credits.
Here's what a nokia phone gives. Its written 'Message', but its not SMS but got only by dialing as said above.

Is there any work-around or something which I can do?
It's not a bug, but yeah this is not currently possible with Windows Phone 7.
Just because of this I have to switch sim card in phone, hate alot MS cant provide this basic age old feature.
Windows mobile didn't had this prob.
Since MS, perhaps doesn't know this, is there any way to inform them or can we expect an update for this? Or is this so unused thing that nobody needs it anymore.
It will come in next updates. or you can visit official wp site and submit request feature

What the heck is this?

I just got my phone back from warranty, so it's freshly reset and this popped up randomly. Well I must have done something that summoned it but I'm not sure. I was just playing COC and tapping the screen as usual then this. Anyone know. Bringing up recent apps showed nothing.

You sure it's not an app you installed. There are some apps that can have that.
Assuming it's not a 3rd part app, can you check the firmware/android version of your phone?

Hack/Un-Brick Mijia Smart Home Security 1080p (MJSXJ05CM)

HI !
I tried downloading tf_recovery.bin to sdcard and flashing but it did not work and I worse, I think my camera is bricked ...
LED amber is not blinking, it is permanent on and the camera does not move.
Same observation without sd card.
I'm trying to find an original recovery image but I'm struggling. I opened a post on the Xiaomi forum and GitHub, I hope someone can help me.
I disassembled the camera.
Now, I'd like to solder a serial port to get serial access and view (hopefully) where boot blocks.
The problem is that I do not know where are the pads TX0, RX0 and GND.
Can somebody help me please ?

hi
problem solved here ;

This happens if you are trying to set up your personal security system without the help of a professional security company. In my opinion is really important to approach the professionals, especially if we talk about the security company, last year my house was robbed by a couple of jerks, and the police said that happened because of the bad setting of the security system that I installed by myself, after this case I approached the professional security company https://wyesecuritysolutions.co.uk/ they installed cameras and detectors, and one month ago police arrived very fast because security system detected invaders very early.

Can you link me the post, just to see, I have send it back, so no problem there, just wanted to see if others had the same issue.
I don't have it but it was on the Pixel 7 pro /r . Either yesterday or the day before, you'll find it easily.
Yes, well... so much for clean room manufacturing.
These may have been worked on by a fulfillment service to repair a mass manufacturer defect. I send it back for a full cash refund. This model has trouble written all over it... hell you can even take a picture of it.
