Hi
I have made some research but can't find any.
I have a huawei nova 5t; dual sim phone. both sim cards are active, one is used for making/receiving calls and the second sim card is only for 4G mobile data.
I'd like that on the notification panel, only 1 sim notification is shown and hiding the second active sim network (for the data).
bottom line, both sim card will be active.
any idea how to do it. thanks.

I wish to purchase a dual sim android phone (most likely samsung)
Is there an app/ or samsung dual sim phone which does the following...
if I wish to call a contact stored in sim memory of either sim card. the call will only be initiated from the sim card it is stored in..rather than giving me an option every time to choose a sim for calling.
It doesn't seem to matter how I set the default SIM in the Dual Management settings. The SIM physically installed in slot 1 will always make the calls. If I try to set calling default to SIM 2, it still goes to SIM 1. The only way I can make calls with the other SIM card is to physically swap them. Is it supposed to work this way? If so, what is the dual SIM management settings for?
I have a FreedomPop SIM in one and a T-Mobile one in the other.
Hi
I am having an issue with mobile data being turned off during a call. I have a dual SIM S8+, when I call on sim 1 the data on sim 2 turns off.
I have it set up that sim 1 is calls and texts and sim 2 is mobile data.
Any ideas how to fix this
Thanks
S8 is dual sim dual standby and not dual sim full active, so when one sim is active on a call the other will be deactivacted and cannot receive calls or used for data at the same time. It is not an error and it cannot be fixed.
Thank you for that. If I just use one sim on the phone. Then will I have data active while calling?

If you have data set to sim 1 you will have data during a call on sim 1, but not while on a call on sim 2, and vice versa.
If you only have one sim in the phone, you will always use the same sim for data and calls, so you will not luse data.
So, I have the dual SIM version U11 (6GB/128GB). I mainly use it with a single SIM with no SIM card in SIM 2 slot. It is annoying that it would show all the related icons/details for SIM 1 even though there is no other sim. For example:
The signal icon always has a "1" above it.
SMS messages always have the SIM 1 icon next to them.
In the lock screen, the operator/carrier name has "(SIM card 1)" next to it.
Phone dialer call button has the SIM 1 name next to Call.
Call history enteries all have the SIM 1 icon next to them.
I thaught this was only supposed to happen when I have 2 SIMs, but I have it all the time. This is with the 1.13 & now 1.27.401.5 versions. I know Samsung does it the right way as with the S8+ there will be nothing shown when only 1 SIM is used.
I have an unlocked S22U (purchased directly from Samsung) and I am trying to get dual sim set up. I have an eSIM setup currently which is functioning as expected. I get calls, messages, and 5G no problem. I have a physical SIM which also works fine; calls, messages, 5G. However, they only work if I disable one at a time. With both SIMs inserted, I only get 4G data out of the physical SIM and no data at all from the eSIM. If I set the eSIM as my primary SIM, it acts like I have no data at all.
I honestly have no idea what to think, does anyone have any input?
eSIM - Mint
Physical Sim - Visible
It sounds like a settings issue. Look under connections / mobile networks / network mode. Are they both on 5g? Also are you dual SIM both active in sim card settings?
