Boeffla-Kernel 3.1 (26-08-2015) Slow Charge

Hello there,
I recently switched over from CM12.1 (SultanXDA) to Oxygen OS because I was getting major echoing. Now that I'm on Oxygen OS, the echoing is gone, but the charging is very slow. On a 1A charger, I was getting around 50mA at 10% battery and 500mA on a 2A charger. This is on stock Oxygen OS with superSu, xposed, and the Boeffla kernel. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I was thinking that maybe the ROM requires the stock charger to charge at reasonable speeds, but it seems to charge more quickly on my 2A charger than my 1A charger. I'm thinking this could have to do with the ROM demanding a certain voltage stability and lowering the charge rate until it gets that stability, but that's just a guess. Heowp would be nice :3.
same issue
same issue here:crying:, rocking sultanXDA's CM12.1. having less than 500Ma with official adapter and cable. Tested with Note2's charger, charge at less than 400Ma, Any1 can help on this ?
thanks

100% fast charge

Ok to start of i bought a car charger that has 2.4amp and a blue socket. I thought it may fast charge but nope regular charge, then i learn qualicom 2.0 is fast charge and i dont understand why fast charger doesnt equal 2.4amp. Then i realized to fast charge eith the mathews app you needed the supported kernal, now that the pshycial charger supports fast charge, kernal supports fast charger, is it 100% fast charge? Kernal, wire, socket. Also...is there a kernal tweak like from synapse to charge faster? And last question) i saw qulaicom 3.0 is out...does note work with it or is limited to 2.0?
Sorry but you just went in 3 different directions you lost me with all your questions a d talking
Yea, basically it all started when i was on the note 3 and i noticed this fast charge app said you needed a kernal that supported it. Then the fast charge feature came out by Samsung software itself, and the adaptive fast outlet it self. So fast charing was introduced by kernal, software, and now hardware. I know kernals can increase performance by increase voltage or decreasing, is there any kernal function like that, that can affect fast charging to be even faster? Then i said a 2.4amp does not fast charge note 5 because qualicom 2.0 is needed, so i adked why isnt a 2.4amp charger not doing the same thint as qualicom. And then i said....on amazon they got a qualicom 3.0 outlet, since note 5 fast chargers on 2.0...will it work on 3.0 speeds? Faster?

I use this one. It's cheap, but it works great. http://amzn.com/B00Y0BPF3C
No, it will not charge faster, although, it will charge at QC 2.0 speed. Any Qualcomm Quick Charge compatible charger should do. If you don't see the logo on the charger you are buying, chances are you will get a fast charge, but not near as fast as the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0. Look for this logo:
***The kernel has nothing to do with fast charge, it's worked for me with every sprint kernel out for this phone***
Synapse does not affect the rate of charge for our phone. Regardless of what the settings say the charging rate remains the same. I tested regular, fast, and wireless and they are not affected in any way.
Thanks for info, what about kernal? Why do some support fadt charge others dont. And using synapae can you control how fast or slow it charges?
This phone the n5 already supports fast charging! !! So what are you really looking to accomplish?

Cannot get Fast charging (15w) but can get Super Fast Charging

I have a note 20u 5g SM-N9860. While tinkering with charging options, I turned on Fast charging and disabled other options. However, when I connect stock charger and cable, it stays on CABLE CHARGING. When I turn on Super Fast Charging, it charges in Super Fast Charging mode.
Is anyone having this problem of not getting Fast Charging mode to work?
I think it depends on the charger. I don't think a super fast charger will just do fast charging. Super fast or just regular. At least that's been my experience.
Using my pixel chargers on the note it does just do fast charging, because that's all the charger is capable of.
There is an option to enable fast charging. There are two different options for fast charging and Super fast charging. Most probably that option is turned off. It is off by default.
I've experienced the same thing. You need to understand electrical currents and how the plug you putting your adaptor inside. To make it simple, use a charger that has usb a to usb c (old ones) for fast charging (samsung branded in my experience). This phone was designed to handle super fast charging anyway, why not use it?
None of the charge options make any sense to me on the N20U. Example , using an old samsung 18W brick charger. On slow charging it peaks to over 2000mA or over , on fast charging it peaks to around 2800mA. Using Accubattery to see value whilst charging. Using a 10W apple brick charger it charges are around 1000mA however.
This behavior was present across three different N20U devices.
Easiest way is to look at the charge indicator.
Around 1% a minute is snail charging.
Around 2% a minute is fast charging.

Fast charging not working

So I bought an UGREEN 45W USB-C charger which supports PD and Quick Charge, and it's actually charging slower than the official one at 4.2V and 1100mA (I was monitoring it using Ampere). I was wondering if I had to do something to enable fast charging, as the charger works fine with my Nintendo Switch docked and portable.
Oh don't know if this affects something but I have Paranoid Android Quartz 5 installed.

Fast charging not working.

Pretty much as the title says. My device says its fast charging but it takes hours to increase only a few percent. Its charging faster through my battery bank with 10.5W charging then the super fast charging
Do you have selected fast charging in battery settings?
if yes and not fast charging, try to restore factory settings.
for last, its the charging port problem, i have the same at mine 3 months ago.
in warranty i changed de charging port and a new battery.
