Got this brand new A 32 5g phone. when i try to set it up it says that my organisation can control my device with knox cloud security, it does allow only limited apps via the google play store.
Is there any way to disable this and use your own Samsung account to sign and to restore this from an old backup.
many thanks
PS Just reading about Samsung Frp2020 , will this app help me to bypass
After seeing a youtube video, i have tried the Samsung Frp and use addrom, it allows me to restore from an old back up.
but when i go back it again takes me to the Knox page and asks me to enter my work email address and use ADFS seetings.
can some one help me please.
this is a new phone with no passwords setup currently.
I have done this 3 times and when i dont enter any details in the Knox and keep pressing the back up it gives the option to reset the phone and when i reset the phone i am back at square one.
i have just seen that it has intune security embedded into the phone. it activates when i am setting up the phone from scratch and wants me to add wifi to complete the setup

Microsoft Intune to Bypass MFA
then it takes to the device setup methods which states EMM provider (enterprise mobility management (EMM) provider).
here are some pics for you to have a look.
after taking you the organisation sign in page if you dont put the correct credentials and put any other account detials it doesnot accept this and i have the option to restore the device which sets it back to factory reset.
Hey.
Did you ever find a solution to this?
I have pretty much exactly the same problem with a Samsung Tab S6 Lite and have yet to find a solution that works. Used Odin to flash new firmware and made no difference at all. The Microsoft sign in requirement via Knox Cloud Enrolment is still very much there.
All the articles and software I've found online seem only to relate to bypassing FRP (factory reset prevention) for a Google account.

[Q] ✔HELP✔Android got pattern locked & not even asking GOOGLE ACCOUNT RESET ✔HORRIBLE
I thought i should ask this here as i see some people have suffered this and its some android thing..especially latest version of android like kitkat and lollipop(especially)
The phone is HTC One M8 Eye My elderly Relative actually reset her pattern yesterday (to complex one to prevent misuse by some relative kids) but forgot it later
We know the gmail account and password too but ITS INSANE that even after trying so many patterns (>100), its not giving us any option to reset using google account

Its not even giving us any "forgot password?" option . THIS is so HORRIBLE as we seem to be locked out and Data is important (on phone storage) so we dont want to factory reset
(I have read some(very few) instances of people sharing this horror ...but cant find any solution...its very common with LOLLIPOP (is it?)

We have tried pressing buttons etc, restarting, no such option comes.
Further the fact the data network is on on it and gmail mails are synchronising properly means gmail account logging has no problem either.
The phone is not rooted and completely with stock ROM
I have tried ways to delete the pattern.key file but i think they are not working as phone is not rooted and on default stock recovery
I tried AROMA File Manager, etc.Details
Can anyone please help or give some ideas . Thanks in advance
This seems to too common lately..SO many people complaining and losing their data. What a shame that they cant reset it (atleast i cant found anything till now), even when they have google credentials.. Read that even ADM (Android Device manager) cant unlock it

Looks like google spawned up this more S H I T in LOLLIPOP along with their crap heads-up notification banners, etc
Another One BIG REASON people should not run for UPDATES of the latest **** around.... like zombies running for flesh
Shame on u google.
Morons say that the reset option only works upto Android 4.4
https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/3388218?hl=en
So why the hell they spawned this LOLLIPOP crap? so that people dont have any opportunity ever to get access to their device, if they forget the password/pin/pattern once
PATHETIC
Whenever I try to format to factory settings it says 'No PDP scenario exists!'. I'm not sure if it's normal or if there's even anything wrong with it. I was hoping somebody here could look at these logs:

I've read that thread a few times, there doesn't seem to be much of a solution. However, this post resembles my issues:
I have the same issue & have taken it to Samsung to do the oem flashing twice! Since I first powered the phone up my root folder files were timestamps "Dec 31 2008"!? & other priv app files "1st Jan 1970" this even persists across a re-flash & or factory reset! My local Samsung shop said they haven't got the expertise to offer a solution!... 3 mobile haven't returned my calls for help either! I believe I've managed to figure it out through a huge amount of research & in my case its due to a TROJAN RAT that uses the Bluetooth vulnerabilities to access & gain complete control of the phone & in my case during the initial startup sequence! Its a variety of the Trojan Agent banbra/aka "Black Moon"... it sets up SSH remote access control & it adapts very quickly to any security changes or updates, it has cloud support & i can only copy it out to shared storage to have it detected & removed as Ransomware (by Malwarebytes) but unfortunately the parent files are unaffected. It also encrypts selected files. It can even inject code & is a master manipulator of Web pages with XSS vulnerabilities & it very very infectious. Since this phone was delivered to me I've lost control of all my pc's, laptops, even Linux & my iPhones via Bluetooth or by hijacking the router. Any help would be very much appreciated!!
Due to my router and other systems being affected, running ADB is useless.
I'll pay someone to find a solution, the logs I posted can explain the issue far better than I can. Thanks again.

Is there anyway, -not- to have my contact list pull from my Google account the second I add a Google account into my phone?
I have disabled automatically sync data, yet Google still deem it necessary to push my contact from their servers into my second phone where I do -not- want any entire contact.
I remember that on my Galaxy S7, I ended up getting around the issue by simply deleting the contacts I did not want on my phone (probably by disabling sync first).
But on my Pixel, which replaces the S7, I am getting a warning that doing so will remove the contacts on all my other devices despite the fact that I have also disabled auto-sync.
Worse come to worse, I suppose that I could just use a different account on my second phone and avoid adding the account on my primary phone, but I would prefer not to that if only because I would like to be able to access my paid apps (yes, I could also login and out of my primary account as necessary, but I'd prefer a set and forget solution if there is one).
Thanks.
I just make backup copies, then import the latest one.
Hi, you can also use android contacts manager tool to help you make backup of contacts on your android phone to the computer, and you can also manage (edit, delete, etc) them before you take backup. The tool my suggest is Coolmuster Android Assistant. With its help, contacts manager is really easy.

With Samsung phones there is already a robust contact manager, no Gookill needed.
Contacts app>manage contacts

hello, i have a samsung young 2 (sm-g130m) and i created a custom rom without google apps, in the installation in one part it asks you for a google account, so when it reaches that part the app goes back and I can't skip it ( after end user licence)

Hi and welcome.
I don't know your specific device but by analogy to others I can answer you, because I did the same thing, un googling my dewice by modifying the flash package components.
So, if it doesn't let you skip it, it seems that its not possible to do that, as you have to go through this entire process.
This first "install" sequence, whatever it forces you to do, does also real mandatory configurations.
If you get through it once (with fake credentials or even with a real one if it insists to check it - which would be very unfair by the way) it won't come back and all you have to check is that if it effectively uses google service to connect (like playstore) or not.
On my device I could get rid of EVERY google app and online service, playstore, gmail, youtube and all facebook and tutti quanti. So no credential could be used for this anyway.
I don't know how you managed to make change into your rom. It would be good to tell.
(I mounted the filesystem on linux to delete those big-tech apps.)
Just tell a bit more how you proceeded.

Hello Thanks for the response, i use the ASSAYYED_KITCHEN and the work folder for delete apps i think are useless ( i use assayyed kitchen because i follow a tutorial on youtube )
Hi. I din't know about this one. Will give a try !
Hello, I was trying to move apps and by removing some of these I was able to make the installer not appear, I can now use my rom and my device runs faster!
After I first connected the GW4 to my own phone and did all firmware updates, I was able to connect the watch to my kid's phone (Pixel 4a, LineageOS 19 20221229) and my kid's google account, which are administrated via family link.

}
Now I'd like to enable the developer options and debloat the watch using ADB, but tapping the build number, some "not allowed"-message pops up:
In family link, the developer options are (temporarily) allowed for my kid's phone, which does not help, and there is no such option available for the watch.
Any idea how to enable developer options on the watch?
I have SM-R860 with GVK7 Firmware...
I am from Germany... so maybe we speak same language...
But at the moment I heard first time about family link...
And I am stupid Samsung Fanboy... so only Samsung Phones in my hands for tests...
Best Regards
I don't even know if this problem is device or vendor specific, or just a matter of wear os. But I also don't find any useful hints searching the web with more common terms like combinations of "google wear" / "android wear" / "wear os" + "family link" + "developer options" / "developer mode".
I read about not being able to access the google account on a galaxy watch 4 with family link enabled on the phone. So no play services, play store etc.. I had the same problem before I did the firmware update: login to kid's account, confirm with my account --> "some error occured, try later". So I hoped the best and gave it a try to connect the watch to my phone first, do all the updates, do a factory reset (keeps the updated system) and connect it to my kid's phone again. That worked fine, but the next problem was just 5 minutes ahead.
This is unbelievable! Today I went back to the watch's options in family link on my device and the developer options switch, which was not there before two days -- see last image above -- just appeared.
