Note 20 ultra snapdragon root - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Questions & Answers

Can you please give me the link to where I can get the instructions to root my Note 20 Ultra snapdragon cpu?

Root for Note 20 Ultra US Version ?/!
I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned at all on this forum, unless I'm reading it completely wrong. https://www.xda-developers.com/samsung-galaxy-note-20-ultra-root-us-unlocked-snapdragon-865/ Now, full disclosure, I haven't actually done...

Don't buy MediaTek Version of Xiaomi Redmi Pro

For anybody who (maybe) will buy the Redmi Pro... Xiaomi also sell phones in India, but they can not sell MediaTek devices, so the need a Snapdragon version, like on the Redmi Note 3.
I just post this to warn you, if you never had a Xiaomi device before. Just wait a lil bit and you will get a better version for the same price.
Whats bad with mediatek? I had meizu mx5 and it worked great.

xiaomi has some patent issue with Ericsson and they can only sell qualcomm devices in india as per Delhi high court orders. Xiaomi already has Mi max at the same price bracket. i don't think they will bring redmi pro to India.

If its the Indian variant it lost all appeal -_-"
BTW, yeah don't buy MTK variant or you will be stuck on the shipped android version forever, no custom roms, nada.
I don't even think Xiaomi is gonna release it with Qualcomm. You know, Deca-Core is the thing they're marketing for Redmi Pro. But there's no Qualcomm SoC having 10 cores. The whole idea behind a "Pro" Redmi is 10-cores and OLED. As you know, they can't release MtK device in India. So, there's will not be any Redmi Pro without MTK. Thus, don't wait for a Qualcomm variant. You'll wait forever.

The GPU is not only for games but the Snapdragon version will be much better. About 2 months you will get a better Redmi Pro for almost the same price, like with the Redmi Note 3.

Read my comment posted above. There'll not be any Qualcomm variant of Redmi Pro.
Thats what you think but thats not important, because Xiaomi will sell phones. No India means no good for xjaomi, so the have to rls a snapdragon version.
India is very important for xiaomi so they surely shall release it with sd 652 (maybe).

Dear Klanac,
I am planning to replace Mi 5 Pro with Redmi Pro, but may you advise us what's the problem with MediaTek devices as this device will have X25T version which is better than Snapdragon 820 version.
Thanks.

The problem is the GPU. Also when you won't play games. Maybe on paper is the X25 better but when you use a Note 3 Pro, it feels even better than any X25 device.
Just wait a lil bit and after Note 2 release you will se another version of the Redmi Pro.
I dont understand why you hate Mediatek so much. I had MX5 and it was nearly as fast as RN3 Pro. And there was Helio X10 and I'm talking about daily usage.

There's no guarantee that Xiaomi will release a Snapdragon variant just because it did it with the RN3. It may release only the RP Mini to India; why else would they release the Mini with a Snapdragon processor? It costs Xiaomi more.
Also, I previously owned both variants of the RN3, and the MediaTek version's camera was superior to the Snapdragon's camera.
I've already ordered the MediaTek variant and plan to run the developer ROM until TWRP and xiaomi.eu support appear.

Overclocking

I want to know if someone is already planning to release a kernel that gives the option to overclock the device. As I see, Redmi Note 5 Pro already have some kernels that overclocks the phone to Snapdragon 660 speeds, I wonder how much time will take to someone port this feature to Note 6 Pro. Or maybe if there's another way to overclock a Snapdragon device, I'm not familiar with Snapdragon, my previous phones were Exynos.
My interest on overclock is to play emulators and heavy games like PUBG. My device isn't rooted and doesn't have bootloader unlocked yet, but I plan to do it soon when I think it's worth rooting.

Is it worth to pay the premium for the Snapdragon?

Hi guys, I think it's time to update my xz1 compact, and the s10e seems like the perfect successor!
I've been reading online review and all seem to point to the Snapdragon version being better than exynos in almost everything. The only downside would be the lack of rooting as far as I can tell.
I'm currently in Dubai so the version sold here is the Exynos. It's pretty cheap here but I was thinking of ordering the Chinese version (SM-G9700) online even if it costs $100 more. Does that make sense??
no
Well I did it for 2 reasons:
Support for dual band GNSS
Better battery

Is it really dual band GNSS, do you have test it?
Don't have the phone yet but Goggle it and you'll find some articles on the fact that the Snapdragon 855 has support for it but apparently it has been disabled on US versions of it but not on the Hongkong/Chinese variants.

Same , mainly for battery life. Did you get it ?
So the battery life of the snapdragon version of the G970 is better? Because of better CPU power consumption? What are the other differences?
I am about to upgrade from a Note 4 and am unsure if there will be custom ROMs for either of the versions. Note4 almost only Snapdragon has custom, here it´s stated that Exynos will be having better support. Am a little confused if and which version I should take.
Thanks for any clarification...

I have the Hongkong version and can confirm that it has dual frequency GNSS.

I don't know if the battery is better as you find different infos from different users. For me it lasts similar to the S9 I had before, may be 15% more.
But I'm very happy with the overall performance as you can see from the Antutu values...

Galaxy S7 (g930a) snapdragon root?

I have dug around quite a bit and can not find a sure fire way to root this phone. It has the Qualcomm snapdragon 820 CPU. I have seen a bunch of root videos for the exynos, but not many for the snapdragon. Can someone point me in the right direction?

no, running same firmware and last one
Taro is the codename for the Snapdragon Gen 1, you can just Google it and find numerous references.... It could be there were different versions of CPU-Z showing either codename or "official" name, not sure as I don't use CPU Z, though....
