Hello community, I hope you are well, I have an issue with a pirate phone, has no mark anywhere, or on the plate, or the battery, anywhere, the phone has a housing with 3 cameras, but in reality the phone only has one, in short, with that introduction, I leave some attachments with information about the phone. I would like to change the operating system, any good, it happens that the one that brings the phone is mined of junk applications, advertising all the time, and applications of dubious reliability, the truth serves any system as long as you get rid of this, I have searched like crazy but I can not find anything about this phone, I wanted to install the same version that has but clean, but I do not know which method of flashing proceed, I hope your answer. Thanks in advance.

Just found this on the market and it is amazing. If, like me, you are suffering with the Wifi reconnect issues with your Nexus or seemingly any other phone, even rooted ones, this little App installs as a system tool that just sits memory resident, waiting to identify an issue and repair it. It uses about 8mb of RAM, so isn't a memory hog either. Check the reviews. All 5*. Never seen that before, so it has to be good.
I am not the dev. It's just a great find.
Sorry, new user so can't post link, but search market for "Blade Wifi Fix".

I've always found Wifi comes back on for me, but it doesn't stay on in standby, at some point it disconnects.

Hey guys. Just wanted to tell you all about an application which was launched yesterday.
It's called Kytephone, and is a way for children to be able to use Android without the chance that they may come across something unsuitable.
Parents can monitor what applications they can use, which can be anything from the Google Play store. The parent also monitors who the child calls and where they are from an online dashboard.
The app is almost impossible to exit without the password, even taking the battery out does nothing.
I did an article about it and interviewed the co-founder here: Link

(Sorry for the lack of hyperlinks, I'm a new member!
clicky for you... looks like a nice program

Thanks!
ok, so the thing is as an end user, I have no idea who to bother with this (whether they will listen is a whole other thingymagig)...
but well general discussion, here we go:
A thing which has been annoying the crap out of me in android is the checkboxes in settings not displaying the full text. Mostly the detailed explanation gives enough info to guess what it actually is about but sometimes it's anyones guess
for example:

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I'm guessing in the first screenshot "up..." stands for "update" seeing how it is referred to in the details, but the second one... ehm.... miniplayer? microphone?... milk!?
I am using a galaxy s2, not a giant screen but definitely not the smallest either, anyone an idea who or what we can inform about this annoyance?
Thanks!
I decided to take some time and make a visualized representation of what's inside of our devices, generalized with who but it there and possible outcomes.
I hope it is user-friendly and noob friendly, since I've seen many questions about "whats a full wipe", "whats a ROM", etc. and cant explain it with mere sentences.
So, without further adieu, behold:

Let me know what you all think.
I might add more pictures with more in-depth visualizations in the future.

perfect!
This was SO helpful! Exactly what i was looking for. Im definately a noob, only flashed roms a few times. Easy to understand. Now i get whats going on inside the device.
Thanks!
The last few days my devices and wifi have been acting a little crazy. My Mac address on my router changed to 20:00:00:00, Imy phone was blocked from the wifi and multiple other strange occurances both with my hardware and on-line. To keep this from going on forever I'll leave it at that. I'm posting because as I was really noticing that something seemed off a system update came up on my screen and most likely because of the other strange things that happened I don't really trust this update. Can someone let me know it's Legit. I imagine it is but still would feel better having someone here tell me as much. I took a picture of it on my screen.. Thanks for allowing me to post here and I apologize if this comes across as crazy. Here's the picture.
