Just found this on the market and it is amazing. If, like me, you are suffering with the Wifi reconnect issues with your Nexus or seemingly any other phone, even rooted ones, this little App installs as a system tool that just sits memory resident, waiting to identify an issue and repair it. It uses about 8mb of RAM, so isn't a memory hog either. Check the reviews. All 5*. Never seen that before, so it has to be good.
I am not the dev. It's just a great find.
Sorry, new user so can't post link, but search market for "Blade Wifi Fix".

I've always found Wifi comes back on for me, but it doesn't stay on in standby, at some point it disconnects.

So I got this nice notice of Android that I'm reaching my mobile data cap. So as it seems, is that the aospa browser downloaded 1GB of data in the background during the night between 1 and 2 november.

I'm very concerned on what caused this and costed me €10 of mobile data. I deinstalled the browser from /system/apps for now. I don't use the aospa browser myself, I use Google Chrome.
Can I check somewhere, or in some logs what it did and what caused it?
BTW, the data is really used, and not just a bug in the "Data Usage"-tab, as my carrier states I only got 178MB left for the month.
May I please bump this as no one has responded to me as of yet?
Hi, ever since updating to 5.1 I've been experiencing unusual battery drain in my device. Google Services is always first or second (behind screen) in the list of apps using energy. I also noticed that Google Search and a couple of chrome services are always running and using up over 400MB of RAM. Also, wearableservice is ALWAYS running and I've never paired any device with my phone, I think I haven't even turned on Bluetooth.
I'll leave a couple of screenshots so you can see which services i'm talking about.

Thanks in advance-
Hey there,
my girlfriend uses a Google Nexus 5X and in the past days something weird is happening.
The battery usage of "Snapchat" was enormous - so I limited the background data of Snpachat.
So far so good. But this night, a strange app called "10085" appeared in the list. And it used "GPS"! But GPS was and is disabled in the options.
Any ideas what this could be?
(Sorry for the big ass Pics, but I'm not allowed to post outside links yet.)

Those "numbers" represent an app that you have recently uninstalled or disabled.
Ahh ok. That clears it up. I could have known that. Sorry and thanks
I don't know about anyone else, but I have had horrible battery life since MM. It has taken me all this time to figure out what the cause was. Nope, no rogue apps, simply a setting. I wanted to report it just in case their were others like me. My phone is important for work as I am a traveling IT engineer and rely heavily on my phone for troubleshooting, calling, and emails.

I'm going to try this since I'm mostly on Wifi anyways and work from home. Since the update I've gone from 48hr battery life to around 28hrs with no change in how I use the phone.
The last few days my devices and wifi have been acting a little crazy. My Mac address on my router changed to 20:00:00:00, Imy phone was blocked from the wifi and multiple other strange occurances both with my hardware and on-line. To keep this from going on forever I'll leave it at that. I'm posting because as I was really noticing that something seemed off a system update came up on my screen and most likely because of the other strange things that happened I don't really trust this update. Can someone let me know it's Legit. I imagine it is but still would feel better having someone here tell me as much. I took a picture of it on my screen.. Thanks for allowing me to post here and I apologize if this comes across as crazy. Here's the picture.
