So I got this nice notice of Android that I'm reaching my mobile data cap. So as it seems, is that the aospa browser downloaded 1GB of data in the background during the night between 1 and 2 november.

I'm very concerned on what caused this and costed me €10 of mobile data. I deinstalled the browser from /system/apps for now. I don't use the aospa browser myself, I use Google Chrome.
Can I check somewhere, or in some logs what it did and what caused it?
BTW, the data is really used, and not just a bug in the "Data Usage"-tab, as my carrier states I only got 178MB left for the month.
May I please bump this as no one has responded to me as of yet?

Just found this on the market and it is amazing. If, like me, you are suffering with the Wifi reconnect issues with your Nexus or seemingly any other phone, even rooted ones, this little App installs as a system tool that just sits memory resident, waiting to identify an issue and repair it. It uses about 8mb of RAM, so isn't a memory hog either. Check the reviews. All 5*. Never seen that before, so it has to be good.
I am not the dev. It's just a great find.
Sorry, new user so can't post link, but search market for "Blade Wifi Fix".

I've always found Wifi comes back on for me, but it doesn't stay on in standby, at some point it disconnects.
I tried to download a 750mb file with firefox but it stopped at 10%. So I got an app called Loader Droid and went to download the same file again but at 7% it stopped and I got two texts from t-mobile telling me that they cut off my tether. (I wasn't tethering)
I have unlimited data, 5gb highspeed, business plan and I will be calling the business department in the daytime. Does anyone have anything useful to add before I speak to them?
I don't think this is fair
upd: can't download this file with firefox mobile either...

Hey there,
my girlfriend uses a Google Nexus 5X and in the past days something weird is happening.
The battery usage of "Snapchat" was enormous - so I limited the background data of Snpachat.
So far so good. But this night, a strange app called "10085" appeared in the list. And it used "GPS"! But GPS was and is disabled in the options.
Any ideas what this could be?
(Sorry for the big ass Pics, but I'm not allowed to post outside links yet.)

Those "numbers" represent an app that you have recently uninstalled or disabled.
Ahh ok. That clears it up. I could have known that. Sorry and thanks
Hi, I am using a s7 exynos version. my problem is since last week my network meter app shown phone taking 140 150kb/s bandwidth all the time. even when no ap is in use. i have tried to force stop every possible app. Kindly tell me is there any way i can check which app is using that vandwidth. its only happening on wifi and NOT on data. here is a screenshot. on top right corner you can see 140 kb/s being used but no app was in use at this time.

Test another network monitor app, maybe it is wrong
I'm currently on a rooted Pixel 2 XL running Oreo 8.1.0, and I'd simply like to access the raw data of the info you can find (probably in most modern versions of Android) in Settings -> Network & Internet -> Mobile network -> Data usage. On my pixel, it looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I just want to be able to make a copy of the data and play around with it, maybe keep a copy of it after each billing cycle, w/e. Once I know where it's at, I can probably figure the rest out.
