Question IMEI sometimes gone - OnePlus 9

I have a Chinese LE2110. I flashed it from color is to Oxygen and rooted the phone. Currently I have a strange problem, sometimes I don't have an IMEI when I reboot, then I need to reboot again around 10 times until it is back. Does anyone got an idea how to fix it?

imei was fixed in 11.2.4.4 update

SIM not recognised after reboot

Hi All,
My Oneplus is currently on CM13.0 (6.0.1). Whenever I restart my phone it does not recognise the SIM. The only way for the SIM to be recognised again is to restart the phone around 6-10 times. This happened back when I was on CM12 so I flashed CM13 hoping that would resolve the issue. It did not.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
EDIT: TWRP version is 2.8.0.1
EDIT2: The issue was the SIM card. Replaced it and it's working fine now.

Try to check if your baseband is still showing something, instead of unknown, and check for IMEI too.
If baseband is unknown and IMIE is showing nothing, you have to flash Oxygen OS to get back your modem.
I had exactly the same problem.

The latest, I have 2 bacons, the China version seems to fine, but the US version had missing baseband(sim card cant be detected) and IMEI after clean flashed to Cyanogen OS 13.1.
I'm not sure if mine is same as your case, i basically factory reset COS13 via latest twrp, side loaded the Oxygen OS and the baseband was back.
Or may be you should try to check or clean your sim card?:good:
Brother are you trying with jio sim in india? If yes then forget about it and if no then do a fresh installation of cm 11 and then upgrade to next cm updates by OTA. If that doesnt helps then it might be problem with the network receptor. Cant help you with that.
Sim issue was common in OPO when it was launced so u can find some solution video on yoitube as well

Lost IMEI and baseband numbers after flashing custom software. Help with restoring.

Hi, I flashed xtrestolite on my phone and after booting up both my imei and baseband numbers became unknown; I now can't connect to my mobile network as my phone doesn't detect my sim.
I've tried to fix this issue by flashing other roms as well as flashing various official firmwares downloaded from sammobile to no avail.
I remember having the same issue with my gs3 and fixed it by flashing cyanogenmod. I tried this as well but the phone wouldn't boot up after flashing the unofficial version.
Could someone please help me with fixing this as I've been trying to for 3 weeks now.

The phone originally for vodafone uk and you flashed the latest firmware on it?. I think nothing can be done except restoring the imei from backup manually.

The phone was on version 6.0.1 and I flashed the same firmware versions. I deleted the backup of the original firmware unfortunately. So does this mean that nothing can be done to fix the phone?

Try reinitialize the phone using smart switch. Hopefully it could fix the broken imei. Flashing the correct firmware(odin/smart switch) sometimes helps to restore imei.

help needed, unbricked mate 8 and debranded still showing wrong version

Hi all,
I was running a custom ROM for a while (KangVIP) and decided to revert back to stock. I missed it up and I bricked it. so kept trying several methods and finally managed to make it work via dc-unlocker. However initially I wasn't sure which was my original stock rom version. I'm in the middle east so I tried all the different nxt-l29c185xxx versions. nothing worked out, so I tried the second method of dc-unlocker using NXT-AL10 factory firmware and the phone worked. so I debranded the phone using SRKTools, then I flashed different l29c185 stock roms and it seemed that it worked out. However the issue I'm facing now is I'm getting SIM network unlock message when restarting, which shouldn't be the case since the phone originally is unlocked when bought. so I checked through the manufacturer mode and the Bootloader version there shows NXT-C900B120-fastboot
I'm not sure what this means. I tried several ROMs using SRKTools and ItalianKnife and still this didn't change although the build number in the phone changes.
any ideas how to completely revert this back?
appreciate your help

Hi.
As you said you are on B200 so your phone is marshmallow and it is good because SRKtool just can rebrand Marshmallow version.
My suggestion is to use SRKtools and rebrand your phone to correct brand (NXT-L29C636 or NXT-L29C185)
If you do it correctly, I bet it will work.
Have a nice time.

many thanks for your reply.
I tried SRKtools again following the guide and still it isn't working. I still get the Sim lock message and the factory bootloader version NXT-C900B120_fasboot

I've used dc-unlocker to get passed the unlock code. Now I have the phone on L29C185B520; however everything in the phone is working perfectly except the sim; there is totally no signal. I have checked the sim in other phones and it's working fine.
I took the phone to a Huawei repair center and they said its a problem with the mainboard which needed to be changed and it'll cost around $200 USD
I believe it's a problem of modemvm partitions. is there a way to fix it?

Oneplus 6 unknown baseband, no imei and meid issue

Hello everyone this is my first post as i can't find the solution to this problem any help will be highly appreciated.
So in september 2020 i faced qualcom crashdump mode issue in my oneplus 6 i tried flashing it with msm tool many times but the issue was still there so i tried msm smt download mode and yes lost my imei number and the phone was still facing qualcom crashdump mode so i gave up and bought a new phone but this oneplus 6 was still with me and then few months ago i heard that the phone was booting up my reballing the emmc and then i asked mobile technician if they can do this so they warned me that there is a dead risk too means there was 50-50 chances of reviving the phone. I took the risk and yes my phone was revived but then i faced this issue of unknown baseband, no imei and no meid the technician was also not able to fix this so i am here i tried flashing different roms but nothing worked.
yesterday i don't know how but when i woke up in the morning i checked it and i was surprised that imei was back wifi was working but sim was not working so i restarted it and again everything was gone no imei, unknown baseband
If anyone knows how to solve this please help

Just use MSM tool. There are a few of them in the Guides section. Read instructions in the thread for that MSM tool, which involves installing certain drivers on your windows PC, as well as putting your phone in EDL (emergency download) mode.

i believe that you tick the SMT when flashing using MSM?
if yes, AFAIK you can try to flash using SMT again.
Did this work out? I'm in a similar position with my Oneplus 6 and can't get Wifi or IMEI back.
I have same issue brother no sim wifi baseband unknown
yes bro flashing with msm smt download fixed my problem you can give it a try
once your baseband is fixed than imei restoration is easy
I try to flash whith smt but if give error after some time start flash
Anyone fixed this issue or not?
i flashed a couple times with msm (tmobile version), but this didn't fix my issue of unable to turn on wifi. this msmdownloadtool installed tmobile android 9.0 stock rom which didn't help fixed the issue. i then tried full resets and wipe data. still didn't work. i was going to give up, then i thought just do System Update thru cell data (since no baseband means no wifi). it installed the android 10 stock rom, and fixed the issue. now i have regain baseband and wifi.
hope this help anyone with the same issue
It could be a HW problem with the network IC (very common) but trying SW solutions like flashing first is advised

Emergency Calls Only after flashing with Odin (IMEI Status: NG)

Hello, apologies for the lengthy post.
I bought a used G780F, noticed it was rooted after taking home, but no big deal. Tried flashing it with Odin with HOME CSC, but it got stuck in a bootloop so I had to factory reset it, but it managed to update and everything was fine until I noticed emergency calls only...
I checked the IMEI status on my countries website, it was blocked for not being registered, so the carrier unblocked it and I just had to wait to get signal again. It's been a week since it got unblocked, so I should be getting service. The carrier told me it's unlocked so it's likely an issue with the phone, and I believe so too. My IMEI and S/N show up fine when using *#06#, I've basically tried every fix except Chimera tool as the license is way too expensive for me right now. Any help or advice would appreciated, thanks so much!

Well, I have the same exact issue.
I found out that this is a live demo unit that has been modified to run on a fake IMEI number to make calls.
My concern was that the root was interfering with my banking app and so I had to flash a new firmware to remove the root.
Interestingly, when I tried to remove it prior to flashing it kept coming back everytime I reboot the phone.

I literally did the same, but I already knew that my phone is a Live Demo, and I took my chances and got Status NG, so I re Rooted the phone and went to a Software Shop that fixed the IMEI for 5$, and yesterday I updated the Magsik App and got the IMEI Status back and looking for what the shop did, as I confirmed he didn't use Chimera tool
