I recently flashed miui v12.0.6 global rom in my indian version POCO X3 Pro.But after boot it says your device is not google play protect certified.I am not able to use or install any google apps. Why this happened? If i flash other region rom in my POCO X3 Pro i will not able use google apps?
If your bootloader is unlocked right now, it means you're not passing SafetyNet, and that also affects Play Store certification. To fix this, you need to install Magisk, hide Magisk Manager and enable MagiskHide; as well as install the SafetyNet Fix module from here: https://github.com/kdrag0n/safetynet-fix/releases
I selected clean all and lock.that means my bootloader is locked now.
when I flash indian rom google play works properly. But if i try other region rom it gets the same error.
Do you still pass SafetyNet in this state?
Yes,passes safetynet in indian rom but fails in global rom.I used official method(fastboot rom)

I think the official MIUI ROMs and Google play can distinguish between device regions, though I don't know how. (Most likely due to people buying China devices and try to get global rom, so they do this)
If you flash other official ROMs from other region (say, Indian device with eea/global rom), it will always be consider as "third party" installation, so it will not pass safetynet. (you can't do this with the official "mi-recovery" I assume.)
To make the different region rom pass safetynet, you need help with magisk and modules as urbanman2004 said.

Flash 9.2.25, connect to the internet, stay 5 -10 minutes, check with drm info when L1 appears. Afterwards, when you flash a custom rom, L1 is there

So one needs to be in miui for it to work. Can you give the link of 9.2.25 firmware I'll update the Op
Do not flash 9.2.25 firmware yet. It can cause issues to the custom rom (Like HavocOS v2.2). Wait until the developer of a custom rom creates new update that can integrate and fully supports the Widevine L1 in the rom. There might be changes in the /vendor partition that the rom cannot fully supports.

Currently, Amazon Prime & Hotstar can both stream content in 1080P on your POCO phone. Unfortunately, Netflix is still not on board with but you can still download videos in best quality.
For me only hotstar is working. No HD in Netflix and Prime video.

How about the Xiaomi.eu beta roms?
Do they include the full vendor as they are based on xiaomi beta roms?
Or is flashing the original beta required?

To answer my own question:
On Xiaomi.eu beta 9.1.3, Widevinde DRM is L1.
Since kernel releases are yet to be published " a total duck move by xiaomi ?" I wanted to keep on using the stock ROM without changing anything but miui is too cringy for me to live with it, so I need to put the ol'rooting hat once again
My question is.. did any one actually root it using magisk and can still get ota , or you would need to uninstall magisk then update then get magisk again?
Also what happens to TWRP , can it coexist with miui ?
I had a previous xiaomi phone (mido) but tbh I never even thought of using the miui and switched to RR once I unlocked the bootloader ?
You can get ota with magisk but updating will rewrite boot and recovery so you'll need to re-root.

FYI, I'm still on stock EU v12.0.3.0 with mauronofrio TWRP and rooted with Magisk.
I got two OTAs already, the last with v12.0.4.0 -- and it even tried to apply one of them while I wasn't looking but it obviously failed, since there's no stock recovery.

What if I reflash the stock recovery.img after rooting, that might get the ota working ?
Yes I know I would still have to flash twrp and magisk again after it
I'll test it on my old phone first , hope it can work as a reference for one last time of it's miserable life

Still the same, just flash the root file and reboot it up... And also install magisk manager to have root management
Orange Fox is much more recommended for our Poco by ManoloRey for installing AOSP ROMS...

You can refer to this thread! I successfully converted to global ROM and European ROM
Convert your T-Mobile (LE2127) to EU via MSM, No unlock.bin needed!
*** Use this at your very own risk. *** You will lose all data *** Backup your working modemst1/2 and persist. If you lose these for any reason, it's unique to your device and not recoverable if you didn't back up (via MSM or other people). ***...

I am successfully running edxposed and passing safety but still was not after updating magisk. If you're having this problem do these two things;
1. Delete all DATA from the Google Play store app
2: Clear CACHE of Google Play Services and restart. I couldn't find the app so I got annoyed and just used Titanium Backup to delete play services data and cache
I just bought the china version and got 136 hr before i can unlock bootloader. I want to convert to EU version . I have be reading and want to make sure i downloading the right stuff . I downloaded stable rom for unicorn and Twrp for unicorn...any advise would be much appreciated

If there is another version than CN
No need for Twrp, which will only flash a recovery rom.
Install rom:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/flash-tool-guide-use-xiaomi-flash-tool.4262425/
Does not relock the bootloader(brick).
With a stock rom the play store will not be certified.

The recovery rom is used for an update or troubleshooting and only contains the imgs needed to start the phone, while the fastboot rom contains all the imgs, hence the different size.
But I advise you to install a Xiaomi Eu rom which will have the play store certified without root and more functions than the stocks.
If you flash a stock ROM, you will need to root and use Magisk hide to have the play store certified and use banking apps for example.

Hi @TheReturned ,
Updates probably were distributed to mi pilots and partially to users, therefore you cannot get or directly flash the global version. Just wait for your turn or just flash the rom through TWRP with unlocked bootloader.
