Anyone have a opinion between the S20 Ultras camera vs mirrorless camera?

HTC came up with ultra pixel mobile in it's variant HTC ONE.
What exactly does ultra pixel mean? What is the difference between normal megapixel and ultra pixel? How does it effect the quality of pictures and videos?
As you heard that nokia 808 pure view has 41 megapixel camera so picture quality really high which forms ultra pixel
PLEASE HIT THANKS IF I HELPED YOU
Hi all!
Thanks for clicking on this thread!
my Question is simple and straightforward: if I buy the Mi9 will Gcam use all the 48Mp of the sensor or just 12mp? And if it will only use 12mp will this be because pixel-bining will still work\happen or just because Pixel phones(for which gcam was made) only have 12mp camera and that is the limit? So I will actually LOSE quality compared to Stock cam mi9? Mi8 only had 12mp sensor so I can't just look in that forum for answers. Sony Phones have more MP but they don't support gcam because of the api.
I have only tested Gcam on my MIX 2 and that phone is also only 12mp sensor.
I am pondering at the moment between getting mi9 or s10+.. but price of s10+ is a bit high and from the samples i saw already s10+ doesn't shoot better quality than my s9+ (with zeroprobe's camera mod) since it has the exact same sensors as s9+ only with the ultrawide one added. I have the feeling that mi9 with gcam has the potential to be better than s10 since my mix2 (which has a ****ty single camera) can rival the s9+ with the help of gcam.
Thank you in advance!

It can only read 12mp subsampling pixels (0.8micron). Not 12mp pixelbinning 1.6micron
It's so bad, when you zoom in 2x, it crop to 3mp effective resolution
I don't like this idea
S10+ has poor camera2api, you can't access wide and tele lens, no f2.4 option (f1.5 one is not so clear)
Hi,
Has anyone done/seen a comparison of how the selfie camera on N20U (with 10MP) compares to S20U (with 40MP). I honestly don't know why Samsung degraded the MP count on Selfie but want to check how the selfie is compared to S20U and if there is a huge loss in quality

Because the 10mp camera have phase detection dual pixel auto focus but the 40mp one don't so the Note 20 10Mp selfie can take better focused pictures than the s20 ultra 40mp one
I am not to bothered by the lack of 4K video on the front camera but why did Oppo opt to not have it?
I have come from a Samsung S20 FE 4G as I wanted a 5G Phone.
Is this a limitation of the Snapdragon 865 SoC? I think it might be as my Exynos based S20 FE could manage it but all the 865 based phones I have looked at are 1080p from the front camera as well.
Fun side note, Our family German Shepard dog we had way back in 1996 ish was called Oppo... Way before Oppo was even founded xD
Limitafions of the 865? Hell na. S10+ can record 4K with front camera and it has an exynos chip.
Exactly.. an Exynos chip not a Snapdragon.

Can record stabilised 4k30 and even 8k30(seems to be upscaled from something >4k) using FreeDCam (for the EIS part need to mod it to add oppo stream configs). So its just oppo being dumb and choosing not to include it in the stock camera app
Has anyone compared the 108mp HM3 sensor on the S22 Ultra directly to the new 50mp GN3 sensor on the S22/S22+? On paper the S22 Ultra's HM3 should have the edge in terms of shallower depth of field, extreme low light, 1x photo detail and 1.1-2.9x digital zoom. The S22/S22+'s GN3 should trade blows though and win in categories like 4k 30 video detail and highlight clipping where higher pixel count sensors usually struggle.
It's possible other variables will factor in too - maybe the software tuning for the older HM3 will be a lot more fully baked than for the new GN3 so S22 Ultra's HM3 could sweep all categories for at least a few months until GN3 software tuning gets some updates.
Full specs for both main cameras are:
S22/S22+ GN3 sensor = 50 MP, f/1.8, 24mm (wide), 1/1.56", 1.0µm, Dual Pixel PDAF, OIS
S22 Ultra HM3 sensor = 108 MP, f/1.8, 24mm (wide), 1/1.33", 0.8µm, PDAF, Laser AF, OIS
