While this device is yet to finish its first month of existence on the market, and thus there is not a whole lot of custom software available yet, I thought it would be a good idea to start such a thread early. Unlocking of the bootloader is made available to make sure that MIUI developer ROMs can be tested by users and will be covered under warranty.
Bootloader unlocking does not inherently void your hardware warranty. But a case where the unlocking results in a brick which cannot be fixed via software, the warranty will be void.

The only difference is that bhima does not have NFC (and in consequence it's also a teeny bit lighter).
As far as ROMs go, builds for vayu should also in consequence work on bhima, including Xiaomi.eu.

Install busybox first... It's working fine on my device mi ui 12.4.0
I think the link to OrangeFox recovery can be also put into the [Recoveries] section, as currently TWRP still have some issues on PC connections after data wiping (not alone with this issue).
In TWRP thread, Kinsoku told a solution which uses both OrangeFox and TWRP.
So I think OrangeFox might still be needed if someone came with this issue.

What is Xiaomi Firmware Updater?
A set of various scripts that automatically generates Xiaomi firmware flashable zip files for every MIUI new update! My scripts download MIUI official ROMs, both Developer and Stable, Global, EEA, India, and China, extract firmware either from the firmware-update folder or from update payload, generate firmware flashable zip with auto-written "updater-script", and uploads them automatically to multiple servers. These scripts are completely automated, running on a Linux server every X hours.

What is firmware? Is it a full ROM or OTA package?
Firmware is not a ROM nor OTA Package, it's a set of low-level drivers which helps the operating system do whatever it wants to do. It includes various things like Modem, Bluetooth, Bootloader, DSP and etc.
Why should I update the Firmware?
Firmware is provided from Xiaomi directly, and there are no sources for it to let developers build and edit it on their own like custom ROMs, so if you want to keep your device up to date always update your firmware!
Do I need to update the Firmware If I'm an MIUI official or a custom ROM user?
No, MIUI ROMs contain the firmware-update package which I extract and provide here.
What are the supported devices?
All Snapdragon and MTK devices including China-only devices.

How to update the firmware?
1- Download the package you want to flash. IT MUST BE NAMED WITH THE SAME CODENAME OF YOUR DEVICE.
2- Flash it using TWRP or any custom recovery. There's no need to wipe/format anything before or after the installation.
How to check the updated firmware?
Usually, the modem gets updated with newer firmware, you can check it in Settings > About > Baseband.

The actual codename is vayu, it's the one that will be used for MIUI zip files and OTA updates. bhima is the codename for Indian variant of the device, that will be announced soon. It's the same codename convention as surya/karna codename for POCO X3.

brother, I'm new with all these stuff, a total new comer, I don't know how much time it takes, plus I got to buy a new device and I was looking at it and asked such question in order to know whether there will be enough stuff for this, seriously! Would You be so kind to tell, if that operating system could work properly on my Armor 5_x _Q_EEA with MT6765 platform? MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762). In other words, second revision of armor 5x, android 10.
I've got some strange problems with NFC. I received a device from China with NONEEA firmware. NFC didn't work, although there were no other problems. I switched to EEA official firmware . NFC did not work, although, again, I did not notice any other problems.
I don't no wat to do... I installed an app that reads NFC tags and read my own cards perfectly.
I updated Google services, I installed third-party payment applications. I can't pay.
I don't know what to try anymore ...
Has anyone come across this? Does NFC work on this OS?

No it won't work sadly since my builds were for MT6763 Variant P23.
Also NFC worked perfect at Ulefone Armor X5 2019 even at stock ROM, talk with ulefone.

From reading through the complete forums for this phone (Armor X5_Q), I see that the internal specs are vastly different., yet all our phones are similar. What's advertised, may/may-not be true, and the reasons for many problems posted. To resolve download from the app store 'droid info' or similar app. I've read 3 different MT676* types.
For example. I just purchased the "2021 Armor X5 running Andriod 10 / Kernal 4.9.190 After running 'droid into' l learned it's running MT6762. However, the advertisement says MT6765, and within this forum I also read it was MT6763.
Simply put: Spec your phone with the proper app to reduce the possibilities of bricking it, then proceed..

I tried several TWRP versions and the last being 331. I fell asleep with the phone connected to my PC and now the battery is dead, in boot-loop. How can I keep the phone off? When I cut the phone off [volume down +power] it only stays off long enough to charge the phone to cut back on?
When it loads it says:
Orange State
Your phone is unlocked and cannot be trusted.
Your phone will reboot in 5 seconds
*Oddly: Holder down Vol up + power does nothing.Only Volume Up and Down + Power - gives me the selection of:
Select Boot Mode:
-Recovery
-Fastboot
-Normal
Recovery or Normal does nothing. Fastboot functions are limited because it says "battery is too low"
Any ideas???
**UPDATE**
1. If your phone is similar to mines this phone is actually the Armor X5 Pro
2. TWRP version 331 will put your phone into a bootloop.
3. NONE of the TWRP versions work, I tried them all.
4. If purchased from amazon, complain about the "false advertisement of the chipset" and the lack of the proper firmware from the seller to obtain a refund. Its what I said, and I was refunded.

Thanks for the reply sorry took me a min to get my phone back from my last attempt to flash a couple other things and no I don't believe I wiped vendor I'll try that again thank u for it help

i think any recovery from youtube videos will do, i don't think there will be any problem in using any of them
I'll taken a look because there is no clear informatie about any working recovery for the veux redmi note 11pro 5G

Face a problem. I already registered a fingerprint for security but it can't be used for unlocking the device. No reaction tapping the sensor so I'm still using the pattern now.
awesome rom, everything works great! thank you very much, you made me happy - finally something other than MIUI.
I for some reason have no notification sound at all. max volume, it plays sound when I select it in settings, but when I receive notification it only vibrates for all apps. tried different sounds.
edit: nevermind, there's no sound only for Telegram for some reason. so the only issue is that I have a wifi calling icon constantly showing even with wifi calling disabled. for the rest - all perfect.
Everything what i try - work like charm (including root via magisk)!

I have not been here at the XDA forum for a long time and just wanted to mention that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G ( GLOBAL) is not the same as the POCO X4 pro 5g.
Different processors ( Redmi Note 11 pro+ got the mediatek 920 ). Even the sizes are different.

The main reasons that I went for the Redmi instead of the Poco is the support for WiFi 6 and the 120w fast charging.
Having that said, I guess this rom is not for the global version of the redmi note 11 pro + 5 G , right?

What I mean is that the code name for the Redmi 11 pro PLUS is "Pissarropro" and not "Veux" which is for the Redmi 11 pro WITHOUT the "+".
Having that said I guess that the thread title of this and other threads should be corrected, the word PLUS should be removed to avoid confusion and avoid less experienced users flashing the wrong rom

indian variant doesn't have NFC
I had global version. Before flashing the room, i had a bricked firmware. So, saved the phone first flashing stock rom and after flashed the custom room.

It's probably about that X3 was introduced for India without NFC but realme launched x3 sz as global version and it was with NFC...and due to the fact that most of the developers are from India ... the result is that only the official soft has NFC. It's a shame but I still havea hope that maybe someone, someday cook firmware with nfc

Fixed the problem. I think i found the problem. Saving the phone from softbrick( before flashing this custom rom), i have flashed wrong stock firmware. (Some without NFC, not like the original one, with NFC). So, now, i flashed again some stock rom (with NFC), and after flashed the custom rom. Tried two roms ( Elixir and Pixel ver. 5.2) and both has NFC after. So, the stock rom must have NFC, so the custom rom to have too.

Yes. I'm using this rom now. Liked more than Pixel rom. In base, maybe are the same, but this rom has some small extra. Also i like the settings menu. But, both roms has low brightness.

I'm using derpfest A13 and it's really good, smooth, stable, battery are ok but there isn't NFC.

I think Elixir is ok. I need the NFC and to use bank apk. Still one bank apk that i was using before, is not working. Other apk are working. I think the problem is the unlock bootloader.

After restoring the phone from brick, i think was some built from 19.05.2022 RUI2, global version. I was searching just for some random rom to save the phone. But the original firmware of the phone, i don't know. I started from RUI 1 and kept it until RUI 3. But the last update was catastrophic, do decided to flash custom.

I found it from a search online. https://realmefirmware.com/realme-x3-superzoom-firmware/. Download the global version. It is in OFP format. I extracted with MCT extractor, for the files to be flashed via Fastboot.

To be sure, i have flashed almost all the img. files. I think most important are : boot, recovery, dtbo, vbmeta (recomend all three vbmeta), userdata, all super xxxx that are inside. The flash of all vbmeta must be: fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta xxx.img --disable-verity --disable-verification. Just flash in alphabectical order, as are in folder. After installing all the img files, the phone must restart with the new firmware. If everything is sucess, must flash Orange Fox recovery with fastboot. You must find one that works. If after flashing the phone stucks again in fastboot, flash again the stock recovery and vbmeta from the stock folder. And you can try again with another Orange recovery.

I´ve got some trouble with the Gapps. But i dont know if it is Rom or Gapps related.
I go trough the flash instructions.
After Reboot to system i cant login to the playstore. I got the failure that the Playstore Service is not installed.
I tried the Vanilla rom also the included Gapps ROM. I got the same failure.
What did i wrong?
I tried another ROM (Elixir 3.6) to double check this issue. Here i have no issues.
I used the latest Core NikGapps. Downloaded directly from the side.
Let me know how i can help to debug or solve the issue.

enable developer options (settings-about phone- Click several times Build number)
settings-system-developer options-Show refresh rate(to see the frequency)
Turn on and turn off the following settings there
Allow screen overlays on settings
Force peak refresh rate
Next, try to turn on and turn off the necessary ones. And also setting in Display-Smooth display. If you turn it off, there will be 60
just don't mess up Settings-Display-App refresh rate. there is something wrong. After that, strange blinking began.

if you have SD695 then you can install
1. Is there a known issue with Amazon's Audible App? I can't start an audio book. The App works besides that.

For anyone that have the very similar named Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G (note the plus) this is NOT the rom for you, that device have a MTK Dimensity 920 cpu, and is very different compared to the Snapdragon 695 device this rom is made for.

Thanks for the ROM. Everything works perfectly for me. There is just one cosmetic issue I would like to report. The top bar text and icons keep moving left and right and move out of the display on the right. The time displayed on the left does not move. When the notification panel is pulled down, everything is correctly positioned.

Yeah Xiaomi has make it worse but still Veux can be recognized with 108MP camera with SD695

My phone shows codename as peux but it has 108mp & SD695.
This is pro + 5g India
