Good day, So I have this redmi 9. The one earphone that I am using everyday is not detecting, but in other device my earphone work well. and I tried inserting different earphone in my phone. It detected. Can you help me?

You can again adjust earphones on phone. sometimes it doesn't detect earphones. You can try this earphone on a different phone and check if it works or not...

Earphones doesn't work with my nexus 4

Yesterday I have purchased a google nexus 4 and noticed that none of my 3 earphones working with nexus 4. There is a faint sound in earphones and there is also a faint sound simultaneously with device's speaker. I have 3 different headphones, one from nokia, one from galaxy s3 and the last one is a normal earphone without mic that I use with my computer.
Is there a hardware issue in nexus 4?
Sorry guys, disregard my posted issue. Earphones are working fine. I was testing them in ringtone settings where audio comes from both the earphone and the speaker. I transfered a song to the device and then checked to find out that there is no issue.

Earphone/Headphone Problem (not recognizing)!!!!

This is a strange problem i am facing
it started unexpectedly
the problem over here is that my phone is not able to recognize between earphones and speaker after connecting earphones
dont know whats the problem over here is
the earphones would work at first and then all of a sudden it stops to recognize it
this happened with two of my earphones (no earphone problem cause they work with other phones
is anybody else experiencing this problems?
after trying to figure out what is happening i opened up audio fx to see if its creating problems and this is what i saw
as u can see in the video above the phone is not connected to any earpiece
at 0.02 i connect the earphones and for just a second it recognizes the earphone and then keeps switching between headset and speaker mode
then the video contains various attempts of connecting earphones and getting the same result
Heres a logcat https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B--cxicb-CQGS2J1blVmUnVkNGM&authuser=0
(sorry cannot paste to pastebin ,since it exceeds max size limit)
Device:-XT1033
ROM:-AICP (happened with diff roms in the past too)
kernel:-hurtsky(again happened with another diff kernel in the past)

hmmm, ok,
Are they "simple" earphones ==> ones that doesn't have any call/music/volume triggers
Did you tried with the AUX-IN of a HiFi installation (with a jack-audio cable plugged to the AUX-IN of it)
Did you tried Apple vs non-apple earphones (the ground and microphones rings on the jack are usually reversed)
What i know about jack port is only that impedance is important for phones : that's the way the earphones are detected and how the triggers work when there are some.
At first read i have no idea about your problem, but it might be a dirty port OR an issue with the controller
You may read the following, and try to play with it:

1>No they are not simple earphones
2>no never tried using AUX-IN on moto g
3>No,no apple earphones were connected to it
the earphones that i used here was from samsung and karbonn(a local brand, that is)
these two earphones used to work with my phone but all of a sudden it stopped!!
inserting them sometimes gives a repeated sound of distortion(cant explain that ....but theres some noise)
Im having the same problem! It's definitely a phone issue... Thing is, I used it with my hudl brand aux cable and that works just fine with the phone but my headphones won't? (I don't know if this inf helps or hinders but I figured it might be important)

So apparently it works better with two-ring headphones, ones that don't have any play/pause buttons or microphones built in? Turns out my headphones have 3 rings on the jack. So apparently, i just have to buy a whole new pair of headphones that only have 2 rings but I don't see why I should spend anymore money just because Motorola ****ed up?

Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime hardware problem. Help needed badly!

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum. I need a solution very badly. Recently I made a amplifier, and unfortunately I plugged amplifier's output speaker line to my Redmi 4 Prime's headphone jack. After starting amplifer, my phone got reboot and earpiece speaker making so noise during call, and also when I plugged headphone, sometimes phone getting rebooted itself while plugging, and right speaker of headphone making only noise and getting hot! Also when I boost bass, headphone stopping any music playing sound. I disassembled my phone and check that the headphone jack port shown about 2V on multimeter, which might be abnormal. Now I can't talk without loudspeaker (because of noise). Guys, how can I solve this??? ??????

Calling with USB C Earphones?

Hi,
So bought these awesome Razer USB C earphones which have a built in mic. They work fine as both earphones and a microphone but for some reason the native phone app will not route the call audio through them!
I have no doubt this is a quick fix for Samsung kernel or otherwise as they remove the USB port from the next generation of phones but I would expect USB C earphones to work. Other phones like Oppus, Huwei, HTC and Pixel don't seem to have issues.
Any ideas here?
I have the OnePlus USB-C Bullet earphone, it works fine both for audio and for a call.
I've been trying my old HTC headphones I got with the U11. Sadly these don't work at all as they are brilliant headphones.
Probably because of the active noise cancelation they need a specific driver.
Okay, will return and try these instead.

The OnePlus USB-C earphones didn't work with my Note 9 either. At least these are cheaper...
I believe some of those headsets use a analog pass trough instead of having their own DAC so they only work with a phone that supports that
