After update to miui 12.2.5 when I open recent apps menu is always open. See video.
I've tried to restart phone and change launcher back to stock but it's not helped.
Any solution?

I tried to add a widget today and for some reason a new widget menu popped up and I can't seem to add a widget anymore. I can scroll through the widgets but selecting the widget does nothing. I've tried switching different launchers (stock and adw launcher ex) but the same widget menu keeps popping up.
I press and hold the screen to get the regular menu pop up which looks normal, but when I select widgets, I get the screen in the attached screenshot. Has anyone had this issue before? I'm running tnt lite 4.2.4. It was also an issue on tnt lite 4.2.3 and not sure if its related to the ROM.
And it's fixed. I just realized I replaced the TNT Settings with the stock android Settings recently and that's what brought that menu up. Restoring the TNT Settings seems to have fixed it.

Good find. Was halfway through a wipe and reinstall before I realized it was a lame brain mistake I could have fixed in 3.5 seconds. Good learning experience though
So my Nexus 5 doesn't have the three-dot menu in chrome that lets you access incognito mode and history and settings and whatnot. I first noticed this when I installed PA rom but after factory wiping my Nexus and even upgrading to 4.4.3, Chrome still doesn't have the menu. My friend's N5 still has the menu key so I'm wondering is it because of some setting I did on my phone or is Chrome like that now?

I always use LMT launcher to open the Menu. Maybe PA ROM has a feature to show up the 3dots icon on the navbar.

Actually, I don't have PA on my phone anymore but Chrome still doesnt have the menu option.
EDIT: I had Pie control from GravityBox on the entire time with the software keys gone but as soon as I turned off Pie Control and turnen on the software keys again, Chrome has the 3-dot menu key. Is there a way I can keep the menu in Chrome while disabling the navkeys and using pie control?
EDIT2: I finally figured it out! I had to enable Force Overflow menu button in Misc. Tweaks in GravityBox.
Hi.
I have a strange problem. I have FRD-L19 for about 1 week now. I noticed twice that the settings app does not open when I try to start it from the homescreen (I'm using nova launcher)
When I touch the app icon screen gets white for a split second and than back to homescreen. I can touch the icon as often as I want, the settings app won't open. When I try to open settings app via novas app drawer the app opens. After that it is also possible to start via homescreen. I haven't tried with emui launcher yet.
Has anyone noticed a similar behavior?
Try a hard reboot. Hold power button till device reboots. I notice weird issues sometimes and the power menu reboot option does not do a hard reboot. Seems more like a soft reboot.
I know previous versions of Nova used to messe up with Emui4.
Have you tried using it without Nova to see the settings app behaviour?
Definitely an issue with the launcher, I've never had an issue with Action Launcher 3 if you don't want to use the stock launcher?
Hello,
Since when has facebook been integrated into the os system. I'm pretty sure its only since oreo 8.0.
I have a problem with a notification showing on my facebook, I have no new notifications and this will not go away. Its annoying
Went to uninstall facebook and messenger to find out it only rolls back the update to factory installed app. What the hell??
I don't want his on my phone, I want a clean uninstall and reinstall of the app.
Factory installed app is exactly that. It is held in a part of the memory that cannot be modified so the app is as pure as the day it was flashed. To remove it permanently means rooting the phone.
You can disable the app in settings/apps once it has been cleared to default.
Also you should be able to swipe the notification and permanently exclude them from showing. If not then go to settings - apps - Facebook and disable its permissions.
If the notification is one of those dots on the icon then the problem is with sense home. Clear its cache and it should be OK.
I recently updated to MIUI 12.5.1.0(RJGMIXM) via OTA on my POCO X3 NFC (stock ROM), and found that the recent apps button has stopped working. I tried going to Settings -> Additional Settings -> Button Shortcuts, and changed the setting for 'Menu' to "Show Menu", then back to "Show recent apps tray" with no success. Even when set to "Show Menu", nothing happens in any app when hitting that button. I also have the accessibility shortcuts button visible, and tried using the 'Recents' button there, but nothing happens. Has anyone else run into this issue, and have they had any success fixing this?
Thanks!
SOLVED! - I had disabled the built-in POCO launcher in favor of the NOVA Launcher. Apparently, in 12.5, the recent apps functionality is reliant on the POCO launcher, and so enabling that seems to have resolved the issue. Hopefully this helps anyone having a similar issue
