Hello everybody,
I bought a POCO F2 Pro short time ago and I am facing some annoying issue with google maps.
- Many times, out of nowhere google maps exit automatically from the navigation mode. It doesn't close the app, it just stop the navigation and come back to the page where you can see the overall trip.
I disabled the battery optimization on this app but this didn't solve the problem.
More over:
- Maps does not recognize spotify, so I don't have the controls in app
- and the floatig windows is quite "buggy" some times it disappear, some times it resize randomly
Any help you can give me for these issue it would be really much appreciated!
Thanks a lot

Hey guys,
While in navigation mode, the maps always show the north at the top, and it won't auto rotate when you take a turn.
I thought it was a Google maps thing, so I was using another GPS software till now.
But today I saw a Galaxy Core, and the maps rotated automatically at every turn!
So, is it a device issue? Any input?

I suggest you using Copilot GPS! it's free and support navigation without 3g on...Google maps navigator it's not that good.
Hey. Thanks for the tip, but as already mentioned, I do have a third party GPS software.
Nevertheless, the question is about Google Maps / Navigation.
Hi everyone!
So I've recently purchased a Mate 9 and while I absolutely adore most aspects of the phone, there's a high number of crashes every day that keeps bugging me.
Ever since I got it (like literally Day 1) it has been crashing on like 80% of all game launches (tested with a dozen of games, it happened randomly and not with distinct games for example), on around 50% of all landscape rotations in photo apps, on like 20% of all landscape rotations and lastly, on around 10% of camera usage and viewing.
I'd assume it is an issue with the gyro sensor being buggy or whatever because it basically is limited to the screen's rotation but I'm not sure.
Did anyone else experience this? Does anyone know how to fix this?
My Mate 9 has the most recent firmware, is neither rooted nor equipped with a custom ROM - I'd prefer to not just factory reset it, so if you have any ideas on how to avoid that, I'd be very thankful! <3
Had bunch of problems on my 432, like voice command problems, Google Calendar sync issues and similar. Factory reset and installing Google calendar fixed them all.
Hello guys,
I have an issue with a xiaomi note 7 pro, with Chinese rom.
The GPS is getting position in Google maps, but as I move, it's not refreshing the position in concordance to my actual location..
In battery optimisation I put Google maps app to 'off', still no positive result..
Can you give me an idea?

Hi everyone.
Has anyone encountered "System UI" has stopped error?
It happens randomly. Sometimes it happens after taking pictures with camera. Sometimes happens after trying to unlock my phone. It really happens randomly.
Regarding phone configuration, I have p40 pro and i have installed google applications through googlefier. At the moment I am on latest firmware 11.0.0.176.
Also one more question regarding YouTube:
When I try to cast content through YouTube app on my samsung TV, it wants me to update google play services through play store.
Should i update it, any experiences?
Thanks in advance.

I've been getting it since moving to the newest update 11.0.0.176 too. Found camera and Aurora Store seem to trigger it. I'm using Micro G, no GMS. Not sure if connected but also noted the double press of the down volume button to quick launch the camera also hangs for about 5-10 seconds before opening since the update.
StevaKG, any luck on this?
I am experiencing frequent gps disconnect problems both on google maps and waze. While driving. Its like on google maps blue dot randomly stops during navigation and then after sometime suddenly catches up to me. Its really frustrating during driving.
I have also tried gps status apps from play store and they show same behavior. I have tried all options available on internet but no improvement. I remember that said issue was not present in initial miui build of poco x3 and has surfaced during recent updates.
Is anyone facing said issue and any remedial measure....?
Update:
I have done some trouble shooting and it seems that gps connectivity remain stable when i disconnect mobile data. Tested through offline navigation through google maps.
I had the same issue and disabled location access of Android Auto. This solved the issue with jumping or sliding positions on navigation apps
