Currently, when opening a thread (from notification or otherwise), the screen jumps correctly to first unread post. It can be annoying/tiresome to scroll back to top to find a specific post (or to simply see thread title.
A good idea would be to replace the blue "Reply" button with a "Go to Top" button.
Please and thank you
I agree we need such a button because so much important functionality is all the way at the top. Perhaps we can do that with the three-dot overflow button in the upper right.
Woops. Post moved. I thought this thread was the new general suggestion thread but it was just for this one question.
That thread opens in website view inside the app, could that be the origin of the problem?

Is there any chance of having the Xperia X10 Mini/Pro put in the 'compact' forum listing, having to scroll to the bottom everytime I pop online is getting some what tedious...
why don't you just use the 'end' key on your keyboard, and 'home' to take you back to the top of any web page. (unless you're in a text box, where they take you to start or finish of the text)
Never even thought of it, thanks buddy! Delete this if need be, wouldn't wanna take up any space with stupidity!
took me yonks n all before i stumbled across it.
searching threads with 'ctrl' + 'f' for the key words you want is another handy one, rather than having to read through stacks of posts or text on a page to find the part that the search engine showed you. (highlights any words/numbers you put in on that page)

Well I'll be...
nice.
good day.
Hello everybody, I'm a newbie in Android modification, and a new member of this community too. Hope that I posted this thread in a right place, if not, may moderator help me to move it, thank you in advance.
These days, I tried to edit my lock screen, and I have a problem finding the box texture of the Emergency Call button: (see the "Emergency Call - Press and hold" in the bottom of the screenshots)
(So sorry, I'm new member so I can't post link or picture in thread )

I think there are 3 PNG files for that button, the first (in the 1st screenshot) is a grey rounded rectangle, the second (2nd screenshot) is a light-blue rounded rectangle which appears when we tap on it, and the third (3rd screenshot) is a blue one which appears when we hold it (when it is released, Emegency Dialer will appear).
I tried to look for those texture but I can't find it anywhere (even in SystemUI>res>drawable-xhdpi or framework-res>res>drawable-xhdpi). Please help me if you know what are those texture's name and their place.
More information, if they are useful: my phone: LG LTE2, JB 4.1.2, rom Minimal v2.0.
Thanks in advance, I appreciate all your helps.
Yo
You know the thing that comes up when you hold down the home button, the search thing that records your search history and you have to go in there and manually ****ing delete your search history all the time, ****ing piece of ****?
Is there any way to remove that, so that you don't have to manually delete your search history? I have startpage as my search engine on Firefox, and when I hold the home button down, the startpage comes up instead of the Google one. But it's the same thing, you have to manually delete your search history. It's annoying.
Thanks in advance

Open Firefox and select the three-dotted vertical icon located near the upper-right corner of the screen. From that menu, select "settings" then "search", then scroll to the bottom of the page and deselect "show search history".
Thanks for the response. However that is already unchecked.
I have root. Could I, like, delete something?
Not sure, honestly. I have Google Now Launcher installed on my device and I'm able to prevent it from keeping track of all of my searches and browsing history. I would recommend installing that if you still haven't found a solution.
Hello World,
I have a SG Note, with Lineage 7.1 and a bluetooth keyboard attached to it.
It is *highly* unnerving, when I am in the middle of some other task and the browser pops uo, because I touched the wrong key combination by accident.
Yet even so I found the button in "Settings" where it lists the pre-defined app shortcuts, I can not find the option to change/disable the same.
I'd be grateful for any help here.

You've already created a thread on this topic here:

Do not create duplicate threads please.

When viewing a forum (like this one) there should be a (quick) way to watch/share the forum. Currently, we need to open the breadcrump link to go one level higher to find the watch button (pic)
I suggest adding the option in the "Add Thread" menu next to "start discussion"
Thank you.
I think we need to add "watch forum" to thread preview next to the share button.

Take into consideration that not everybody has thread preview activated in settings.
