Is there any chance of having the Xperia X10 Mini/Pro put in the 'compact' forum listing, having to scroll to the bottom everytime I pop online is getting some what tedious...
why don't you just use the 'end' key on your keyboard, and 'home' to take you back to the top of any web page. (unless you're in a text box, where they take you to start or finish of the text)

searching threads with 'ctrl' + 'f' for the key words you want is another handy one, rather than having to read through stacks of posts or text on a page to find the part that the search engine showed you. (highlights any words/numbers you put in on that page)

OK...guys, i'm not new to forums, and i'm certainly not new to hardcore researching to get software/hardware questions answered, and I usually find what I want on my own by looking, but for some reason I can't find this specific thing...
To the nitty gritty (hope this is easy)...
what I'm looking for is a photo dialer app for wm6 (or wm5...whichever...I have the HTC Touch). There is one at link below that looks close to what i'm trying to find, but instead of pressing an arrow or button on the screen to flip through the photos, I want to use the touchscreen and swipe your finger across the screen to flip through the photos. The HTC Dialer on the cube is ok, just wanted a little more out of it.

I've been to that site before, but I haven't downloaded a demo or anything. Is it similar to VSCaller in that you just press on the screen and not actually swiping your finger to control movement?

To all the guru's here, how can I get a home icon on the top bar. This way I can tap on it and go to the today screen. I know about wisbar, but don't want to use it for personal reasons. I know I can create a shortcut for a key using quickmenu and a gester using wktask but I just want a simple home icon (like wisbar or WA) in the top bar. Anyone have any ideas please?

You map it to a hardware button. Now, when you press (and hold) this button, you see the Today screen. When you release it, you are returned to the app you were previously in - IMO much more useful than anything that takes you to the home screen aln leaves you there...
Not quite what I need. If the icon is in the today bar, then it is available in any program I run. This allows me to switch to the today screen with only on tap. When I am finished then I can click on the wktask name/icon header to get back to where I was. I know I'm being a little ridiculous with this, but for speed and ease, this is the best option for me.

Well, maybe try editing your first post and use a bit more descriptive topic subject.
Messages titled with some nondescriptive name like "Need some assistance...", "help needed", "can i do this?", etc... often get ignored... It's really hard to check every single such message to often find out that they concern something you have no idea about.
But something like "How to put a shortcut in the top menubar" might just catch the eye of someone who actually knows the answer...

I've tried the search but I could'nt find anything because the words were too common. I'd like to change the behaviour of the people tab in manila 2D, so that when I click a picture it calls the person instead of opening up the contact file... I don't really understand why it does this anyway, because when you add a contact in the tab in the first way it asks you to choose either mail/sms or phone number, and even adds a little icon on the bottom...

I'm sure you've figured this out, but if you press on the bottom part of the contact picture (with the phone symbol or icon) it will call them.
I like the feature that when you tap the upper portion it open up contact info. If you want to text or email one of your fav contacts it's the easiest and quickest way to do so.
I could be wrong, but I believe this is a feature of M2D that is built in and can't be changed. Kinda like asking for a calendar tab, or stock tab.

Just for future reference, it is against forum rules to double post. I know you found the Manila thread, after you already started this thread, but you should have search before starting a new thread.
I would've actually switched between the option if it was up to me
clicking the picture should call the person and the bottom part should bring up the contact's page.

Yeah, I agree that would be better. Sometimes my big thumb hits the picture when I'm in a rush.
P.s. I have to apologize for a double post as well, I answered his question in both threads.

strangely buggy... I've never heard of that before. It might be the skin. try changing it use M2D customizer and see what happens.

You would be surprised how hard it is to find a notepad app that is plain and simple and not confusing the minute you look at it.
And then the few simple ones out there use really ugly buttons and colors.. =_=;
Maybe its just my taste and opinion though.

I am not sure if this is the right place to report a bug, but on my SE Xperia mini pro, it does not always save the notes.
When i open the app and no other notes are there yet, i press "Add Note" and type something. When i press "Save Note" then, it still says "No Notes".
I have to type my note two or three times, until it actually saves them.
Theres an alternative notepad app, called JotPad (you can find it on google play).
Unlike conventional notepads, you don't need to create new notes everytime. it comes with 5 empty pages which autosave, and allow you to write your notes. Just one click and you can start typing your notes immediately. It also lets you click any line on the page and let you type into that line immediately (without pressing enter numerous times)
Widget will be out soon hopefully...
Silly question but in the awesome Note 3 commercial making fun of the iPhone with Lebron James they use the popup pen thing and then easily select him on the screen, add it to a background, sms it, etc. You can see some edit stuff up at the top. I tried all of the apps and none of them look like what they show. What app are they using for it?

Literally S-Note. You sure you looked through all the apps
Also, for selecting him, he held down the button on the spen and then traced around him. Then he pressed the thing that looks like a magnet in the top left to activate what is essentially a magnetic lasso.

Go to youtube, there's a heap of video's that discuss he features of the note 3. Some give demonstrations.
S-note actually gives you tutorials to fully use the awesome features present in our note 3. I suggest you try them out a few times until you know how to do it yourself...

So for all you non - idiots here is EXACTLY how you put lebron james in the sky like the commercial. And I'm not just going to tell you "it's a app!" Wow! Really?? Ok step 1- Google clouds than go to images of clouds. Than find a nice one then hold image then select save image.Then go to your gallery. Find your cloud pic and share it with your s-note.(when you share it with it s-note, it will copy pic to your s-note clipboard) Then Google "lebron dunk". Then find a nice one, hold image, than save image.Then go to gallery find your lebron dunk pic. Then remove your s-pen, hold down s-pen button as you hold s-pen on screen. Then trace around lebrons figure.(if you do it right you will see a line of dashes as you trace him) After you trace him it will give you options. At the bottom of screen share it copy figure to s-note. It will once again copy to s-note clipboard. Then go to s-note. Then click on + symbol and start a new note. Then once your in a new note there is a small pic symbol and +symbol at bottom left hand corner of page.click on that.click on images. Go to gallery then select your clouds. Then your cloud will appear then you can stretch the pic with cursors horizontally and vertically so that the cloud takes up whole page. Once you have a full cloud on screen click your pic and + symbol at bottom lefthand corner button again. Then go to clipboard. Choose your cutout of lebron james pic. It will appear on top of your clouds. You will also need to stretch lebron so he Fits nicely in your clouds. And whalla!!!!! From here you can either save it your s-note by clicking checkmark at top righthand corner of screen as a new note and rename lebron or you can go to air command and do a screen right and it will save to your gallery.
