I agree with you nothin.
Because all of this guys spend a lot of time developing and fixing stuff that takes a lot of their precious time. So i think its pretty fair to have a thread to post our thanks.
Many of us cant give a donation. But we can at least leave a word or thanks to out good friends.

[REQ] Graphic artist required for nearly finished project

Hi all,
I've nearly finished a project that has been about 4 months in the making. I'm not going to go into detail about what it does or what it's for, but there are 2 applications - 1 on the PC where you make "project" files, and one for your phone where you utilise these project files.
I need some graphics doing for both apps (icons and splash screens).
I'll obviously give anyone that's interested more information about the app, but anyone that's interested let me know and, if possible, link or attach some of your work on here.
I honestly believe that this app will be a BIG hit, as it does a nearly unlimited amount of things. It will also replace the CHTEditor.
Anyone that gets their artwork in it will obviously be mentioned in both the thread and the app, so it will earn us both kudos! Me for my app looking great, and you for showing off your skills.

I can do the odd graphic thing, Im not particularly good but I would be willing to have a go if no one else wanted to (which is very unlikely)

I might not be skilled enough to work on the project but would like to see what I can accomplish. I am not a photoshop person; Illustrator is more my thing. I am also interested in designing effective and efficient layouts (page, screen etc.).

Hello there, good people of XDA!
I'm not really sure if this is best suited here or in "Off-topic", but since it is phone-related, I figured I'd give it a go here.
It's a short survey about how you use your smartphone, and any help would be greatly appreciated. It's completely anonymous, as all I ask for is your age and gender.
For anyone wondering, it's for an contextual analysis about people and their smartphone usage, and it will be used as reference for my exam in consumer sociology.
Thank you for any help, and give me a head ups if it is better suited for another board.

I've, shamelessly, added another more in-depth survey, where you have to type in quite a few of the answers. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to complete, and would be of great help for me. The first few questions are pretty similar, but the last few are, as I said, a bit more in-depth. There's no need to take them both, and you can chose for yourself which one you want to give a go. I'm happy either way.

I thought this was supposedly your exam?

Just took it. One problem though is that question 7 implies that everyone is in school, so I don't know how you will differentiate between people who use their phones in school who chose 1 and people who are not in school who chose 1 for that reason.

Yeah, I guess I could have done that part differently. Actually, this go for a few of the questions. But people can just chose "1", for the things that don't apply for them, and I'll take it into account when analyzing the answers.
I can only have 10 questions before i have to start paying for the service, so i had to make the survey a bit more compact than what would be optimal. I could have used Google docs or something else for the survey, but i feel surveymonkey is pretty easy to use when analyzing the answers compared to many other services.
Anyways, thanks for helping out guys! I still need more answers, so keep'em coming! :good:

Hi Sralli,
Intentions are simple and good. I believe there is unlimited potential around us, just that most times it does not get channelized because of which great ideas get lost.
I think, if there is a good idea, I can help making it great and contribute in the execution, possibly in all ways. Likewise, if someone believes that he or she can develop anything, then, I would want to be in his friends list because, I can any day come up with a most idiotic coding idea for him to execute.

I need one (or more) developers to give me real world example of whole process from discovering to resolving a bug.
I have job interview for software tester tommorow and this is a task I am given.
I would be REALLY thankful if somebody shared their real life process and is willing to spend some time giving me whole procedure.
