My phone was working fine until this morning. I restarted it, and now it won't detect my SIM card. I'm on stable OOS11 and rooted. I've tried restarting the phone, removing the SIM card and re-inserting it, reinstalling stable OOS11 and Magisk. Any ideas?
Unfortunately you likely received a update from google that has caused this, and the only way to fix it is to do a restore with the msm tool.

I have a op7t, lost SIM access and network data after installing viper4android on upgraded Android 11 stable, magisk 22. Yes, I recovered back network data and SIM access by re-doing the local upgrade of Android 11 stable. Try backing up your data and try factory reset.
Maybe you flashed call recorder enabler? If yes, just uninstall it and the problem should be fixed if not try a factory reset or use msmtool

Please help me out! So I previously had PA running on my Nexus 5, no problem whatsoever. Then, just recently my phone did not detect my sim card. I tried restoring my old nandroid backup, flashed multiple ROMs, and even restore the phone back to stock, still no progress. I have also tried my brother sim card but still it would not detect. One thing that is major problem is with the stock lollipop update the "cellular network settings" is blank out, so I can't even access the APN setting to input Tmo setting, even with a working sim card in the phone. Could this be a sign that it is a hardware problem and not a software one?
Thank you.
After updating to the latest update, android 11 global for poco f2 both my sim card slots have been turned off.
When i try to turn on sim1 it tells me that only 1 sim card can have 5g enabled and to change my network settings.
Unfortunately none of the slots wont turn on so i cant change the network settings for either sim.
Have tried putting in 1 sim and restarting, in either slot 1 or 2 the sim slot still wont turn on.
Is there any other way to do it other than a factory reset?
I have same problem with you. I cannot turn on sim card 1 or 2. İt is very weird problem. Did u solve the problem ?

Yeap i did it. I had another bugs after the update. But factory reset fixed all of them
This version (stable BETA) in android 11 has multiple bugs. Many prefer to revert to the previous version.

Great,! Wish I'd bloody read this thread before I updated. At least I know now, it's not just me. Unfortunately, for me at least, I'm on stock & haven't modded, unlocked bootloader, rooted or flashed anything at all. Does anyone know if Xiaomi's backup utility is any good or shall I not bother before I factory reset?. Cheers.
I checked my IMEI on Visible's website and it checked out. I am running the Android 11 Pixel Experience ROM and Google Fi SIM worked fine, but I cannot get the Visible SIM to even be recognized as existing in the tray. I tried both SIM slots. Does this have something to do with being rooted? Ironically I installed this SIM in my Poco F3 which is NOT compatible, and although I got no service, that phone did recognize the SIM and even all of the Verizon APNs. Just wondering if you guys have any thoughts? Thanks.

It shouldnt have anything to do with being rooted, but if you have converted/changed firmware then that could be the issue.
If you have the engineering mode app installed u can check the sim in *#808# or by adb shell am start com.oneplus.factorymode/.manualtest.SimCardTest . If the test fails then the modem or your efs is messed up.Hopfully you have a efs back up. Try starting over with MSM flash first.I believe the fail sim is caused buy a key that is in the locked sfs folder of the efs. I do know for a fact there is a RSUprivate key there also. And have obtained it. But still have not found a way to write this back, other then efs restore in twrp.
I'm guessing it is related to the ROM.

I'm on visible and I'm using an unlocked T-Mobile gm1915. When on the global rom, it gave me a pop up to instructions for using the verizon sim on a cdma-less device. However, I didn't have to do anything and the sim started randomly working after waiting 5-10 minutes. So, i recommend just leaving the sim in for atleast 10 min and have mobile data on.
SOLVED!!!
(ANDROID 12?!)
PROBLEM: I have no network signal.
I successfully installed a custom rom but I noticed only one sim was working at a time which can't work for me. (not sure if that's a normal occurence for only one sim card to be working at a time.)
Used msm tool to go back to oos11 and now only one sim card is working and on the sim slot it says "no sim".
What should I do?
Solution:
After using MSM tool to downgrade from Android 12 to OOS 11, all I had to do was install the OTA available and both sims were up and running.
Same happened with me, after manual updating to oos 12 my only one sim is working but without internet signals and second sim IMEI is showing null but after downgrade to oos 11 both sims are working on my 8t.
Hi last week I have tried to install Oxygen os (Global version) using oneplus updater and I got network issue and sim not detecting issue. After that I have tried
his tutorial to go back to my stock version and everything seems working fine untill today morning. My phone stoped detecting my sim card and I can't even go to sim card setting. Sim toolkit disappeared and Baseband showing unknown. Can anybody instruct me to fix this ?
Note : I don't have any backup EFS files :'(
