Hi!
Yesterday I rooted my LG P500, then I wanted to make a backup from CWM from the phone. Now the I stucked in fastboot mode.
I have read many articles about this problem, and I could solve it, but my computer (win7 64 bit) cannot detect the phone correctly. I have tried with a lot of drivers, official ones, unofficial ones, but no connection can be made to the device.
In the device manager a single unknown device called "Android" can be found. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Force Windows to install the Android Single Sooner Interface by going thru the steps to manually update/install a driver.

Mtkdroid tools only works with mediatek devices (with a mediatek chip eg mt6577, mt6589 etc) so will not work with your device
What actually is wrong with your tablet?

Can you get into the recovery menu and do factory reset or anything else??
I guess you've tried resetting via the reset button?
There doesn't appear to be a stock rom available for the GS-918 on the Dopo website, have you contacted them to see if they are able to help?
You could try leaving the tablet on when it freezes until the battery runs right down and it turns off, then put it on charge and try it again, not much else I can think of at the moment

yes i can do everything but it doesn't fix anything :C
and yes, i've tried the ressetting via reset button.
i can swear you there is no dopo GS-918 model drivers or rom in the whole web u.u
I contacted them but they only told me about the recovery menu, and i send them a question but they haven't answered me yet.
((((
now the pc recognizes the tablet via usb, well, it recognized first like vid_1f3a_pid_efe8_driver, then it disappeared and recognized a M3-CHIP driver but with errors (The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver, blabla.)
so i think i need to find the M3-CHIP driver isn't?
EDIT:
I let the battery ran out, and now shows me the box that says: Android is upgrading, Optimizing app 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 of 39, but never pass the 7 now, then i restart the tablet againt, and say: optimizing app 20 of 23, but it freezes, then i restart the tablet... againt, and say: optimizing app 1 of 7, i restart again the tablet, and then it freezes in the first logo forever, the end :C
So, i think one of those last applications is creating the conflict
EDIT 2:
so, now im stuck in the system recovery, i choose reboot system now, and again, i am in System recovery , even if i only press the + volume or -, with the tablet off, it boots automaticly the system recovery :S

I think its banjaxed mate, I think your only hope is if the manufacturer is willing to help you, there are no files available anywhere that I can find, the only thing that might have fixed it is a factory reset, and I guess that is not working from your recovery menu?
Is it out of the question to return it to Dopo?
I suppose you could try running the battery right down again, then leaving it for a while and then restarting again, and keep doing that in the hope that it fires up as its supposed to, but to be honest I have my doubts that it will.
Sorry I cant be of any more help.

The factory reset on these models (DOPO/nobis/apex) only re-initialize the data/cache partitions it will not touch/fix the system partition.
Based on the gist of the initial post -- the only solution is to send the tablet to the factory so that they can reload the firmware.
I am in the same boat right now...
Originally I had some file system errors on the internal nand (on APEX GS-918) that caused the boot animation to loop endlessly -- because I had 'USB Debugging' enabled' I was able to open a adb shell
and run fsck/e2fsck and fix it.
But I have a similar problem now (possibly due to adding an option in build.prop) and also disabled 'USB Debugging' and
I can no longer use adb to open a shell during the boot logo.
PS: I hate to necro a thread -- but people need to know that the issue, described, is by-design........they want you to send it in the factory.
When doing a factory reset, any respectable stock recovery, should restore the system partition.
PPS: I do not believe you can install and update in the stock recovery that attempts to write to the system partition.
I believe that can only be handled by using various amlogic tools (such as amlogic usb burning tool, which requires the firmware image that we don't have)
So, I purchased this 10.1" Google A1 Android 4.4.2 tablet off of eBay on March 2nd and now it freezes up at the Dragon Touch logo for no apparent reason. I've contacted the seller and I am also trying to figure out if there's any way to fix it. When I plug in the USB cable, Windows 8.1 makes a sound but that's it. This tablet doesn't appear to have a bootloader menu. When I hold down Vol - and Power nothing happens. I tried this days before as well and it does not work.
Is there any way around this problem? Like, can I make a bootable SD Card or something? I'm freaking out here!

The Tablet Express website says to use Phoenix USB Pro Flash tool but it doesn't work for me. I tried using it on XP and Win 8.1. Just doesn't work. I will try what you suggested. Thanks!
Problem... SP Flash tool requires a Scatter File which isn't in the img I want to flash. Sigh. Does anyone know of any bootable SD Card software that can factory reset this tablet?
Guys, is there a way to factory reset a tablet running 4.4.2 that is stuck on the logo and has no bootloader?

No bootloader would mean the device wouldn't even turn on . You will need the matching firmware and Scatter file to use SP flash tool. Have you checked to show "all devices" in device manager when the phone is connected?
Why don't u try factory reset via recovery....
sent from my GT I9505 5.0.1
i am new but knows this thing very well.... you just need to wipe data and cache .... but one more important thing is that if you are using philz recovery then you need to use the option "clean the device for installing new rom"
so that you can install it easily without any bootloop.......
if its helping you then its awsum......
Hello and thanks for clicking in!
I am broadcasting an SOS to anyone who may be able to help.
I am also aware that because of the recent stock OTA which I have already installed (build 35b), this may be game over, but if anyone has any ideas, I am ready to try anything.
A brief history: I was jumping between SkyDragon and Jasmine and at one point, my phone was acting funny so I wanted to go back to stock.
I flashed stock using kdz to 24b and everything was going fine for a bit until I updated to 35b OTA (big mistake).
Now my phone is completely unusable - for awhile I could get it to work for an hour or so by factory resetting, but any time I installed any apps, system processes would constantly fail, display would become unresponsive, and at one point, all audio just stopped working (headphones, speaker and ringtones, notification sounds, alarm, even bluetooth). I tried to flash stock again and now my computer won't recognize Android MTP device. I have tried all the LG drivers I could find, Koush's adb drivers, Verizon LG drivers, and no matter how I try to get my computer to recognize my phone I always get this error:
'Device driver software was not successfully installed:
MTP USB DEVICE FAILED'
I have tried TOT and KDZ methods to downgrade to stock and nothing will work because my computer won't recognize my phone.
Does anybody have any advice?
Thanks in advance.

I have been through and tried both methods thoroughly, including going through it with a friend. It seems that the root of my problem seems to be that I can't get my phone to connect MTP to any computer. It just won't get recognized by any computers. I tried on my desktop and laptop and my friend tried on his and his roommates machines. We put our heads together and still couldn't figure out how to get it work.
He suggested that it is a kernel/baseband error as I had installed a custom ROM with its own kernel and when flashing back to stock, it was conflicting with the custom kernel that was on the phone and this is what is causing my phone to malfunction so miserably.

Hi again, well try then to ask over the Q&A thread. Right here:
Good luck!
Yesterday I wanted to recover android 7.1 so I used Sp flashtool. It made my phone only vibrating so unluckily I thought that formatting whole flash would be a good idea, it made it even worse, the phone isn't even vibrating. Winows device manager shows something like Mediatek Usb Port. Sp flashtool shows an error S_AUTH_HANDLE_IS_NOT_READY (5000). Is there any hope to fix it myself?

Ouch! That doesn't sound good. You should have tried flashing ost first. Anyway try that, maybe it can help
When I tried to use ost there was a problem with some kind of .dll file when I plugged in my phone

Maybe you should try using another system then
You cannot do anything, anymore, because the phone is hard bricked. I have tried everything too, but no success.
