iunzip yung TWRP na nakazip kuhanin yung .img file lagay mo sa sdcard KUNG meron pag walang sd card iunzip niyo lang sa phone memory

Install yung kingroot apk

Tapos sa kingroot pagtapos na install, iroot niyo na dapat may internet kayo neto medyo matagal yan.(ang mangyayari diyan temporary lang yan)

Install yung flashify tapos allow sa kingroot na app dun sa may "advance" na word dun sa app

kapag may root privelege na yung flashify pindutin niyo sa flashify yun install recovery,(kung ano yung may recovery dun) tapos piliin niyo yung custom(basta yung hind CWM TWRP or Philz) papapiliin kayo dun kung anong file ang iflaflash, piliin niyo yung file na iniunzip niyo dun sa STEP 1,

How To Guide [ROOT]ing Xiaomi 12 with Magisk

1. First unlock your bootloader. This thread does not cover this. I suggest you do not try to tamper with the 1week~ time gate you will encounter else it may get longer should you fail.
2. Enable Developer mode and adb from Developer settings again.
3. Download the appropriate Fastboot files for your device. See the About section in your phone's settings to know what you are currently running.
4. Download latest Magisk-vXX.Y.apk and install it on your device. Magisk developer only provides files from Github, do not download it from anywhere else.
5. Extract(Install 7-zip if needed) the fastboot .tgz archive and copy the boot.img from it to your phone's sdcard through adb (or other means):

6. Open up Magisk on your phone, press Install and use the patch option to navigate to the boot.img you just copied. Select that, next next next.
7. Read the output to see where the patched boot.img got saved. Pull that.

8. Reboot phone to fastbootD (rebooting to fastboot (via adb reboot bootloader) should also be fine).

9. Flash the modified boot image to both A and B partitions

10. Say your prayers and reboot, your device should now have functional root with Magisk

was anyone able to install viper 4 android in xiaomi 12 or xiaomi 12 pro? it aways ask me to install driver when i open the apk. im using v4a in poco f2 pro with android 12/miui 13 without issues

If you are on a custom ROM, for example LOS 19.1 with LOS recovery (and vendor_boot, dtbo and recovery), following step necessary:
fastboot flash --disable-verity --disable-verification vbmeta vbmeta.img
Otherwise LOS may not boot, after flashing the patched boot.img.

Selinux is still permissive, can't receive Sms, D2W doesn't work. Will be solved soon.i guess. The rest is fine

Just search for Xiaomi 12 official on TG. SMS issues seem to solved, D2W works as well.

Can't patch the boot.img of my xiaomi 12 Pro in magisk, shows me an Error.
- Unable to unpack Boot Image
- Installation Failed

i have a xiaomi 12 miui 13.0.18.0(SLCEUXM) android version 12 SKQ1.211006.001 security 2022-05-01
i have unlocked with official software and rooted with magisk 25.1, the root passed without error.
when i check with root checker i have congrats the device is rooted.
but i think it's a partial root, because impossible to change permissions on files on phone storage and the copy/paste files to /system/xbin/ in "root explorer" "ES explorer" "root browser pro" say same thing PERMISSION DENIED (all this soft are checked ON superUser in magisk).
i have change name of magisk and activate Zygisk.
i have try with adb and adb shell to copy/paste and the result is "read only files"
can you help me?

the blue one appear with the command "adb reboot fastboot" on platform-tools
and the orange one is with vol- + power

Hi, mate. Is this kernel compatible with LineageOS GSI ROM? I'm using A115F as a test phone for experiments but I can't seem to find an appropriate kernel for my device. Somehow, samsung's stock kernel won't cooperate with LOS GSI causing File Transfer (MTP) and others features to fail. That's it, thanks.

Alright, just tested it out and I found some issues.
Here's the list of what I found so far.
1. WiFi not working
2. Bluetooth not working
3. SIM Card fails to get signal (sometimes it works)
4. MTP still not working (I hope someone fix this issue)
I'm using LOS GSI a64 image. Samsung A115F (Galaxy A11) Snapdragon 450
I'll update this list, if I found a new one.

Download Android 11 GSI (arm64 ab) with GApps
1. Unzip img file
2.Wipe data and system from TWRP recovery
3. Install system.img into system partition
4. Install my kernel
5. Reboot

i tested in stock and a lot didn't work here :
camera, flashlight, wifi, games make the phone restart, I only tested cod mobile
unfortunately if it is not resolved this makes the use unfeasible
Obs: but thanks to the developer for making stuff for the a115m, currently there is very little about this device

Install adb tools on pc
Connect phone to PC in normal mode
Copy zip file to adb folder on pc
Open terminal on pc
Navigate to adb folder
Type
adb sideload filename.zip

Can't extract boot.img from Fastboot ROM file

I need to get the boot.img file to root my phone, but I can't extract the boot.img file from the Fastboot ROM file.
My phone: Omix X400.
Android version: 11 (R).
It has Seamless Update feature.
It is impossible to find custom recovery on the internet because my phone is not very well known.

Optional: I have attached the system's build.prop file.

Didn't even know this device exists but was interested in your problem (having only Samsungs+LG).
Downloaded ROM from your link.
Searching!helped me find a youtube video how to extract files from that .pac file.
Downloaded that tool and extracted a file I suspect it to be the boot.img although named dtbo.img. It's 8MB big so I will not attach it.
Extracting is that easy that I believe you can do it yourself.

I'm trying to patch from Magisk; The files I bought from every ROM, had the extension .img and had the extension .img (except .xml, .bmp and userdata.img) all gave the same error:
- Device platform: arm64-v8a
- Installing: 25.2 (25200)
- Copying image to cache
Parsing boot image: [/data/user_de/0/com.topjohnwu.magisk/install/boot.img]
- Unpacking boot image
! Unsupported/Unknown image format
! Installation failed
This log got from a files Magisk log.

Try using older version of SPD Research Tool, version R21 and below maybe

What for??
It worked/extracted all.

Any update to this? I am trying to get boot.img from a Lenovo .pac file, but it doesn't exist after the SPD extraction. Only dtbo.img, but Magisk fails to use it and says "Unsupported/Unknown image format".
All the other *.img files in the ROM do the same.
